History:
While he could not give her a natural-born son, he could give her something similar. He’d developed a unique warrior AI, with a body to house it. For months he worked through the night, getting every detail just right. He’d even run algorithms to help him determine what their son might look like. Three nights before their anniversary, the body was complete. All that remained was to build the boy’s mechanical brain, program it, and install it. Easy work.
It was that night that Mizuna had had enough. To marry a scientist had been a blow to her reputation, but she had cared for Sorrel and felt that their union would create not only strong children, but smart ones. But if the engineer couldn’t even give her those children, then she’d had enough. To properly break the union would be an arduous and aggravating process. It would be much easier if he died. So she came to him in his lab and put her fist through his abdomen. She laughed as she left him to bleed out, and spat as she insulted his masculinity.
“Bitch…” he cursed to himself as he lay in a pool of his own blood and waste, “Snake woman…”
He tried to move, to crawl out of the lab. If he could get outside, he might still get help. Might still survive. But it was no use. In that moment, in his desperation, there was nothing he would not give to get his revenge.
“She sure did a number on you, eh boss?” The voice, thick with charm and honeyed venom, came from nowhere. A dark purple smoke flooded the room, and from it stepped a man in a pristine white suit. “It’s not lookin’ good for you, mate. Even if someone walked in and found you right now, like I just have, you’d be dead before a doctor laid eyes on you.”
“What...who…”
“Shhhh, sh sh sh. Don’t talk, save your strength. My name is Sam, and I’m here with an offer. I can give you inspiration, a little bit of time, and an extra set of divinely skilled hands with which to execute that inspiration. You’ll just...owe me a favor. Sound good?”
Sorrel paused. His breath was coming in ragged gasps. He had nothing to lose. Worst case scenario, this was some sort of sicko that wanted to play with his corpse. He wouldn’t be around for that part anyway. Gulping down a mouthful of his own blood, he nodded. The white-suited man smiled, stood up, and snapped his fingers.
Sorrel spent the next weeks learning how to properly control his new body, and installing new defensive systems. If he was going to find his wife and give her a taste of her own medicine, he’d need to be properly armed, and properly trained. He didn’t have much experience fighting, as his old body had never been well suited for it. But now it was just a matter of finding a few...sparring partners.
As he embarked on this new chapter of his life, he chose a new name. The name he would have given to his son...Pin.
It wasn’t long before Pin had become something of a boogieman amongst the criminal element on planet Vegeta - a Saiyan in strange black armor, with strange weapons and techniques, that showed up in a souped-up hovercharger and busted heads out of nowhere before disappearing without a word. Judge, jury, and executioner all in one, making his way up the food chain from street thugs to drug lords. He’d even targeted some corrupt palace guards, or so the story went.
One day, long after Pin’s body no longer resembled a Saiyan, another crisp calling card was left for him. It read: ‘Time to collect, mate. You got yourself a shiny white bone to pick with Lady War. She might even know where your wife is. Happy hunting.’
Much like in U15, when Pin confronted Habana, he was soundly outclassed and defeated. And much like in U15, when he mentioned Sam, it became clear that this battle had been engineered to bring them together. Habana was unimpressed with Pin’s power, but trusted Sam’s judgement as it had worked out for her in the past. She took him on as a guard, and over time became a trusted lieutenant - he was to Habana as Habana was to the Empress herself. When she called, he would come. When she pointed, he would shoot. And when she was done with him, he’d return to the streets, busting criminal heads to keep himself, and the Empire, sharp and ready.
Techniques:
While most of U3 Pin’s techs are functionally the same, the fluff will be somewhat different - a shotgun instead of a pistol, for example. If need be I can detail these fluff differences here in the app, or can just fluff them in matches while listing the mechanics as they appear on standard Pin’s list of techs. Just let me know.

History:
Sorrel was a brilliant Saiyan scientist with a bright future within the Empire’s Corps of Engineers. He hoped to revolutionize the Queen’s Armada and help bring the order of the SSE to the rest of the universe in his own unique way. Married to Mizuna, a warrior of some repute, the two were considered by many to be something of a power couple. There was only one problem - they couldn’t conceive a child. Try as they might, they simply could not get pregnant. So, as an anniversary gift, Sorrel set to building a special gift for his wife.
While he could not give her a natural-born son, he could give her something similar. He’d developed a unique warrior AI, with a body to house it. For months he worked through the night, getting every detail just right. He’d even run algorithms to help him determine what their son might look like. He wouldn’t be around for that part anyway. Gulping down a mouthful of his own blood, he nodded. The white-suited man smiled, stood up, and snapped his fingers.
Several hours of intense rewiring and careful surgery later, Sorrel opened his new, mechanical eyes. Sam had helped him to transplant his own brain, still intact, into the robot body that had been meant as a gift to his wife. Sam was already gone, the only evidence of his passing a crisp white calling card. On the card in flowing script was a simple message: ‘I’ll call on you when it’s time to collect.’
