OOC: This is how Ryson achieved his new move.
Right now, Ryson could be enjoying this beautiful day by working hard and sparring with his brother. He could be eating a home cooked meal or helping his mother find groceries. But no, he was face down in the mud, with some know it all Arcosian holding his head down with his foot. He just flew in on some burning pod, popped out, and declared that he was going to take over the earth. Unlikely considering the strongest person on earth was leaps and bounds ahead of them both in power. But he seemed convinced that he was superior. He was at least compared to Ryson and his brother. The two of them were no match. He was stronger than both of them.
“Pathetic. This is why you all deserve to be subjugated to my rule. You’re ants beneath my feet. Worms. Snails.”
Ryson tried to speak, his words muffled by the wet earth.
“You’re not exactly the apex predator compared to some of the other guys that live here.”
“Be QUIET you worm and keep eating that mud!”
“It’s really not that ba-”
The Arcosian stomped on his head to quiet him.
“GUH!”
He was trying to fight through the pain with sarcasm. It wasn’t really working. But he would try anyway. It was only a matter of time before some stronger guy came along and whooped this guy. Still muffled by the ground he spoke again.
“Hey, could you try that again? I think you’re working out a knot in my-”
He was stopped by another stomp.
“GAH!”
The Arcosian then kicked him in the side and launched about five feet forward.
“Oooooooh. I think you put a disc back in place.”
Despite the pain, Ryson pulled himself to his feet. He was hunched over a bit and made eye contact with the impatient enemy.
“What’s the deal man? Why so angry? Let me guess. Daddy Issues? Trying to compensate for a small tail?”
“How much longer must I endure your insufferable commentary before your local leader arrives!?”
“I’m not that bad am I?”
The Arcosian fired a small ki blast at his feet in response to scare Ryson. Didn’t work much. He seemed like he didn’t want to kill anybody so he wasn’t really worried.
“I’ll take that as a solid yes.”
There was a slamming sound from the left. They both looked over and saw Old Man Evers, the owner of the farm Ryson worked at sometimes bursting from his home.
“That’s it! You youngins’ need to quiet down!”
He must have assumed that Ryson and Ciro were roughhousing, as that was not at all uncommon. The would-be “Ruler” of the earth took no time in firing another ki blast at the porch Evers was standing on. The wooden structure collapsed and took the old man with it.
The attacker let out an unsympathetic “Oops” and Ryson rushed over yelling “Mr. Evers!” He began clearing the rubble of the front porch and scooped out the old man.
“Are you alright Mr. Evers!”
He responded, slurring his words in confusion.
“I, uh, think so? My head sure does hurt.”
The old man had hit his head but he seemed not to have any other injuries. He placed him inside on the couch quickly and told him not to fall asleep, he may have a concussion. When he stepped back out, he was quiet.
“That’s what happens when you talk so inappropriately to your superiors.”
Ryson was silent.
“What? No witty comebacks? No snide comments? A shame. I was beginning to warm up to them. Only a little.”
The air grew a little tense as Ryson clenched his fists. He walked slowly over to the alien man. He got real close and the invader smiled smugly and pulled back his fist for a punch. He let it go and it struck Ryson in the cheek. The invader was expecting the Human-Saiyan Hybrid to collapse. What he didn’t expect was for the orange haired to stand almost completely still.
“Wha-What?”
The alien struck him again in the chest. Little to no effect. He struck once more by Ryson caught it. Ryson then twisted his whole arm outward causing the Arcosian to kneel down from the pain.
“GAH! HOW!?”
He found out soon enough. Ryson’s ki suddenly burst out and flared wildly. His power was essentially now double that of the Alien. Ryson made eye contact again and used his free hand to land a hit directly to the bridge of the Alien’s nose. Breaking it. He screamed and grabbed his face to protect it.
“AAAH!”
“What’s your name?"
“What?"
“Your name. What is it?”
“Wh-Why? It’s Kalt…”
“Ok, Kalt. That man over there. He owns that farm behind you. It’s been awhile since it’s been fertilized. Lucky for him…”
Ryson grabbed Kalt by the shoulders and picked him up.
“I just picked up a nice big bag of shit that'll do just the trick.”
He moved a hand to Kalt’s neck and flew into the field, pushing his face into the dirt and dragging it across the ground. He did this for about 25 meters and pulled back up. He threw Kalt away like an old rag, but he caught himself mid-air, steadying himself and panting.
“You bastard! This is not how you treat your superiors!”
Kalt then placed his hands out front and started charging a ball of green ki.
“You will not survive this!”
Ryson raised his hands above his head and began charging his own attack. Burning Heart Wave. Something was different though, it seemed more powerful, and not that because he was in a transformed state. Maybe it was because he had finally mastered the move. Maybe he had unlocked the next stage. Burning Heart Wave MKII. (Short for Mark Two) That sounded right to him. The two called out the names of their attacks simultaneously.
“Burning!” --- ”GIGA!”
“Heart!” --- ”IMPACT!”
“Wave!” --- “BOMB!”
“MARK TWO!”
The mark two part took Kalt by surprise. Ryson’s purple ki beam shot off with a beautiful BOOM and Kalt’s ball of ki launched forward. It seems it wasn’t a beam at all. Just a ball of volatile ki. The two attacks collided and the green ball put up a surprising amount of resistance. It was in vain, however, as Ryson’s gorgeous purple beam pushed it right back to its owner. Everything blew up in Kalt’s face, both metaphorically and literally, and Ryson’s beam pushed him back towards the farmhouse. Kalt managed to get out of it and landed on his back after taking some serious damage. Pieces of his natural armor had fallen off or even possibly shattered, and he was in too much pain to move. His breathing was coarse and forced. He was in no condition to keep fighting. The ki around Ryson dispelled and he was left feeling sore and tired. He flew back to the house to check on Evers once more. He would be alright but Ryson was still concerned. Before any kind of authority figure arrived another pod landed on the front lawn. Another Arcosian stepped out from it and Ryson entered a fighting stance.
“Calm yourself, weakling. I am not here to fight. I am here to collect my son. He ran off like a bloody child earlier this week trying to prove his superiority. Where can I find him? I assume he his here somewhere. He goes by the name of Kalt”
“He’s right over there.”
Ryson pointed at the defeated Kalt.
“I see he has failed then. I expected nothing less. Well, I shall bring him home immediately and place him in a healing pod. Now, if you could keep this quiet I would consider it a favor. I don’t need to bring any trouble home with us.”
“Uh, yeah sure. I guess.”
Ryson was not about to try to argue with this man. He was twice his size and his scouter was reading out a solid 45,400 power level. The two departed quickly into space and Ryson went back to the house to start cleaning up. Nobody ever really did show up to investigate the calls. The most likely assumption is that they thought it was just Ryson and his brother sparring. Just as Mr. Evers had thought at first. In the end, there was no real threat, and everyone moved on with their lives. Mostly everyone.
OOC: Ooooo some foreshadowing at the end there.
