The thick foliage of the jungle had blocked most of the morning sunlight, although it was not successful in filtering out the heat that the sun provided, causing the air to become humid. A bead of sweat had broken down the hybrid's forehead as she made her way through the forest. Typically she would have been accompanied by her brother, but at this moment she had been given a short period of independence to roam around the jungle. The typically hyperactive Culu found her spirit slightly quelled by the nature that surrounded her, allowing her to relax from the stress of her daily life. While her life hasn't been necessarily stressful since she had arrived on earth, mostly a mix of exploration, meeting new people and hanging around with her family, there has been a certain landscape she had been yearning for ever since she had left the demon realm. This yearning had immediately intensified after she had seen Earth's green plants for the first time. Vegeta's wasteland biome had left her starved of plants for many years, and now for the first time in two years she would be able to see an abundance of plants. Giggling as she watched a butterfly land on her tail, Culu would immediately go and romp around in the jungle. Throwing herself against a tree, she would begin climbing up the trunk with ease before grasping a branch and swinging onto it as if she was a monkey. While not exactly having a similar layout or even similar biome to the plains she had used to live in, the jungle, a place where nature is alive and thriving had reminded her of her home. A sharp pain flashed through Culu's mind. She had missed her tribe, missed her father and the chief, she missed her home. But now this was her new life on Earth. While it would be difficult for her to adjust, it wasn't impossible. A loud cracking sound had immediately jerked Culu out of her own thoughts as she noticed the branch snapping. Immediately she swung herself up in an attempt to reach the other branch, but her motion would only snap the branch quickly as she found herself meeting the jungle floor quickly. For a moment she found herself unable to react, completely paralyzed and unable to even form a single thought. A short scream had escaped her lips involuntarily as adrenaline flowed through her veins, clearing her mind but by then it was already too late. While the fall itself would not be lethal or mortally wounding to her in the slightest, it definitely would not be a soft collision. She would be unable to do anything but close her eyes and brace herself.

PL: Suppressed to 5. KP: 3/3 Techs Used: [UT] Ki-suppression. OOC: Sorry it's so late. Let the shenanigans begin.
Kira strolled at a casual pace through the bamboo forest, the rattling of the tall green stalks was rather soothing. Eventually he came to a in a small clearing, an area where the sun warmed with a bright yellow light. He closed his eyes and let that bath of light to cover his face; as always, these communions with nature always refueled his soul. He never knew why his body reacted like this but it had always been so. He'd guess it was why he had such an affinity to use the elements in battle, and why he was able to use the soul wood staff that always followed him around. This soul wood staff-that his master had eventually told him was from his true father from long ago- was imbued with the living essence of several of his family, was apparently something passed from generation to generation. Even more than that, it only allowed those worthy to use it. Also, according to Cassel, it had many attributes to be use in battle that weren't apparent in just its blackwood appearance. Kira had already found it possessed quite the affinity for natural elements, though he'd only mastered two of them. He longed for the days when even the very Earth and its vast oceans were able to be controlled, then for sure he'd be able to help the world on a greater scale.
Kira turned his head, he thought he'd heard something. He stared into a part of the forest that was more like a tropical jungle then the rest of the biome. He walked into the thicker foliage, almost wearing as something thorny burrowed its way into his skin as he tried to push his way through a denser brush. Greens, reds, blues, and even a few bright yellows dotted the tall trees and various Flora. It wasn't long before he saw what'd suddenly rid the area of all its birds as flocks of them took off at once. A small girl with long black hair bounced around the trees like she were a bird. Kira smiled at her and then watched as misstepped and fell backwards off of a tree. instinctively he was just there, waiting to catch her. He wasn't sure why. It just seemed like the right thing to do.

[Feels Like Home] OOC: Welp I broke the promise so here you go with a Culu romance plot Tags: Kiraburu Sarutobi
As her screams reached the peak as she was only seconds away from colliding with the harsh jungle floor a sudden force that would catch her from her fall, giving her a much softer landing. Letting out the air in her lungs as she landed, she would look up to see a human as her savior. Typically Culu would have thanked the man and went on with her life but there was something now that prevented her from doing so. A small blush overcame her face as she attempted to thank the man. However her flustered emotions refused to allow her to come up with anything comprehensible as the phrase as she simply stuttered through everything and came out more as a question. Immediately she would jump out of his reach as she rushed into the forest in a hurry. Hidden behind trees she would attempt to calm herself as she began to ask herself. Why? Why was she feeling this towards him? She hadn't felt this emotion to any other guy she had ever met before. With a loud cry of frustration, she punched the tree in front of her, causing the birds whom were perched upon them to fly off. It was difficult for the young hybrid to understand. While Culu had heard the notion of a crush before, she never thought she would experience it first hand, especially with a human. What would people think if she told them she had fallen for a human, but not only that someone who appeared to be much older than she was. After fretting to herself for a few more minutes, Culu took a few deep breaths before finally coming to a conclusion of what she would be doing. With an unnatural smile plastered on her face she sought to find the human man once more, thinking she was composed. Of course this was not the case, she was nervous to meet the man again despite how she tried to lie to herself. She began to wonder if it would now be possible for her to escape the forest without the man's knowledge so she would be able to save herself the pain and awkwardness of confrontation and once more.
