The night was a great time to look at all the wildlife of the forest. Birds were awakened that normally weren't out in the day; insects flew in the faint moonlight. It was beautiful, but Faust was never focused on these things. He was more focused on the macabre aspects of the night, like the wolves hunting and eating their prey, or the animals being killed by others whilst they slept. Truly, the father and son duo that stood in the night were two completely different individuals.
Faust stared at a small star in the sky, his eyes intensely locked upon it. It was no ordinary star, it shined red, even from this far away, and seemed to almost blink. Clearly, Faust had some sort of connection with this star.
Suddenly, Faust seemed to remember the task that was at hand. He then tore his grip from the star, looking intently at his son whom stood before him.
Ok, so why are we here? I want to sleep.
To train, my son. Our power is strongest in the night, of course. Soilderp was still awakening from his slumber as his father told him this. Nightime training already wan't popular with him, but this was pushing it to an extreme.
Very suddenly, a punch of monumental proportions was delivered to his stomach. His father was incredibly displeased with his son's lack of commitment to his night training. Blood dripped from Soilderp's mouth. This big dude wan't playing when he said he would train. As he fell to the ground in agony, his father began to speak.
Of course, your human blood has made you a weakling. Get up and fight me!
Soilderp was confused by his words. For what reason did he have to fight him. Before he could even finish the thought, another sharp blow was delivered to his stomach, this one much more powerful than the last. Well, it looks like he had no choice. As Faust moved closer to deliver another blow, Soilderp parried the blow and delivered a powerful uppercut of his own.
As Faust recovered from the hit, a smile streamed across his face. Now he knew the training could truly begin. Both of the demons quickly leaped into the air, punching and kicking into each other at maximum force. This was by far the most exciting fight either of the two demons had been in in some time.
Suddenly, ki blasts flew in every direction, knocking down the trees in the forest. They both knew that this needed to stop, or they might attract unwanted and unneeded attention to themselves.
The fight ended just as quickly as it had started, with no definite winner to be seen. It was mainly a test, a test to determine how strong the demon boy actually was compared to his old man. Faust looked at his son, breathing heavily.
That *huff* was pretty good. Looks like you haven't *cough* been slacking, now have you? Very quickly after saying this, they both fell to the ground in a messy sprawl. This was only the beginning of something special.
