Time To Get Serious ((PL: 48,872 | M. Weights: ON)) "ONE and TWO and THREE and FOUR and...". The sound of a young warrior training rang across the forest. Jican had decided that if he were to get revenge against his killer, he would need to be exponentially stronger. But that was not the real reason he had been training for three days straight. He had recently been experiencing nightmares that had kept him from sleeping. It was the same nightmare every single time. A city was under attack, and every single person was looking to Jican for help. When he arrived at the scene, a warrior clad in red was waiting for him. It looked just like a silhouette of Jican, but fueled only by rage and anger rather than benevolence. Jican would always try to fight this darker version of himself, but in the end he would always lose. The nightmare always ended with the warrior extending his hand out to Jican, to which he always refuse. After experiencing these dreams, he decided that he'd solve this issue like he solved all his other ones: by training them away. Jican began to force himself to break every limit he could, even those he didn't even know he had. The massive tree he had been punching for the past ten minutes had begun to break. It was eight times the height of Jican and at least three times thicker than the average tree. "Have some of this! HYAH!". With a swift hand motion, Jican chopped the tree down in such a way that it would purposefully fall on him. When it did so, Jican tried his best to hold the tree with both hands on his back. Using all of his strength, he would try to lift the tree as if it was a massive dumbbell. "One...Two...Three...". Jican smiled as he felt sweat roll down his forehead. Things were going well, but by the time he had gotten to his 45th rep, he began to have some trouble. His knees were in shocking pain, and his arms were like noodles. Yet somehow, he found the determination to keep going all the way to his 75th and final rep. With a burst of strength, Jican managed to throw the tree over to the side. What he didn't anticipate was that when he put it on the ground, dust scattered everywhere, creating a dust cloud in the air. He turned around to see the field of other trees that had received the same treatment. "...Well this is a mess, isn't it?", Jican said to himself. "Guess I'll just have to clean it up!". He positioned his arm towards a random tree as a flaming blue sphere began to appear. "Go! Spirit Cannon!". The ball completely destroyed the tree, but it also set the remains of it aflame. The smoke began to rise into the clear sky so that anyone within at least a mile's radius could see it. "Oh...didn't expect that to happen!", Jican said to himself. He rubbed the back of is head, as now he had created even MORE of a mess to deal with.

...For once, Chai felt... Oddly at peace? It was weird, especially with Cloud's recent death and all. But, he still had his friends, who'd give anything and everything to keep the goatman's head high. Knowing people had his back, no matter what, was oddly relieving. For the longest time, Chai was carrying others on his shoulders. Now, he had people to fall back on- people to properly let out with and trust. And that felt surprisingly... good. Chai didn't like to put his burdens on others, yes, but even he had to vent sometimes. A boulder was shoved off his back, and having that weight gone felt amazing.
Now, the zoanthrope was in his home, fingers tapping away at his Baotendo device. The zoanthrope bit his lip, briefly glancing up to Guardia's narrowed eye. The blade sat across from the goat, intently focused on his own Swap device. On their screens, two familiar- Chai's proxy choice of Bing, and Guardia's pick of Etoru dashed across the virtual battlefield, dodging and laying combo after combo on eachother. So was the way of Serpent Master EX: 2.
'Nope, noooot gonna loose to you this time, you stupid green...!' Guardia trailed off, eye fiercely locked onto the virtual Bing, twitching with irritation. Chai's "main" was ironic as well, but only in a way the two of them knew. The Bing model swifly leapt into the air over Guardia's Etoru's swift kick. The Serpent Master was about to lay down a finishing punch to Guardia's avatar... But, alas, a sudden bang resounding in the real world tore both of the duo's attention, with Chai flinching and dropping his device, causing the the SM:EX2 cartridge to pop out of it's aperture.
'Oh, come on! I HAD you!' Guardia spoke, totally not having it earlier. "...Sorry, G." Chai muttered, forcing a smile. Guardia groaned, turning to the window. 'But seriously. Who has the balls to interrupt me beating you down?' Chai waltzed to the window as well, narrowing his eyes at a column of smoke rising from afar... It was black in hue, twisting and churning like a smoky serpent of some sort. The signal of a starting fire, for sure. It could just be the fire from an occasional camper in the woods, but that bang from earlier, coupled with this odd smokestack was... Concerning.
Chai and Guardia exchanged glances, quickly nodding to one another. They had nothing better to do now. After putting their Swap devices back in their homes, Chai took off with Guardia safe in his sheath, chasing down the rising smoke...
Several minutes of flying ensued, with Guardia making occasional conversation about all sorts of video games. He was excited for the new Zoan Junction game coming out for the Swap- the one he bought on his 3DB system was almost 100% completed, and the blade was getting admittedly bored with it. Guardia shut his rambling when Chai stopped near the smoke, eyeing a small fire down below, and dozens of fallen stalks of bamboo and toppled trees.
"H-Hello, sir! Excuse me!" Chai called from above, diving down and landing near the blue-haired humanoid on the ground. He seemed human enough, and Chai didn't pick up any clear malevolence in his ki after a quick scan. "Uh, training, I see? Wonderful weather for it also." The goatman concluded with a whistle, raising his head. Not a cloud in the sky either.
Guardia groaned, sliding out of his scabbard. Leaning against Chai's leg, the sword would glare. 'Look, bub, this place is under BBA protection! Ya can't just go and deforest the natural habitat of all sorts of animals- some endangered as well!' He scolded, eye narrowed. Half of that was made up- he had no idea what wildlife lived out here. Still, Guardia was irked that his match against Chai was interrupted. "Oh, hush. People do this all the time- us included. It's cool."
Chai rested his hand on Guardia's handle, causing the sword to roll his eye in irritation. Remaining silent, he'd let his partner continue on. "Oh! I'm Chai, and this is my bestie and partner, Guardia." He leaned forwards, raising his hand off the sentient sword. "Who might you be? If you want also, I can, uh, maybe help you train? I think I'm good at that." Chai shrugged with a meek smile, head tilted to the side. Collan seemed to appreciate Chai's tutelage, at least.

A nervous laughter quickly turned into a frenzied panic as Jican realized that he didn't actually know how to deal with fires. "Oh geez, think Jican! What would Shibo do in this situation...", he asked himself. As he played out the scenario in his head, he quickly realized that following Shibo's example at that moment would probably end up in the entire forest ablaze. Jican tried to remember everything that Shibo had told him about fires and how they worked. He recalled a time when they were kids during the holidays one year. The Saiyan was fascinated at the orange light and cozy warmth that was somehow emanating from the remains of dead trees. "Hey Shibs, what's this stuff? It's so orange and glowy...". Shibo had chuckled and sat down next to him. "It's fire, dude. It's what happens to things when they get super duper hot and stuff.". "Woaahhhhh...", Jican had said in awe. The warmth of the had fire lit his eyes up with intrigue. After having this small flashback, Jican let out a large sigh. "...why couldn't things be that simple now? Everything used to be so fun and carefree, but now all anything is is that whole revenge thing and training and finding a way to get Shibo out of hel-". His train of thought was interrupted by the sound of someone flying. Specifically towards him. Out of instinct, he immediately assumed a fighting stance. While he could not see much of anything in the smoke, he could at least see a silhouette of the stranger. It seemed to don ninja-like clothing, and had horns extending from the top of its head. When the zoanthrope descended, Jican immediately jumped backwards, maintaining his fighting stance and staring the goat in the eyes. "...what am I thinking?", he unintentionally said out loud. He had spent so much time in hell that when he saw a face he didn't immediately recognize, he immediately assumed that they were out to injure him. He got out of his fighting stance and stood up straight. "I-I'm sorry for being so hostile. My name's Jican.", he said. The stranger pointed out that it was a wonderful day for training, and Jican had to admit that he was right. "Can't argue with that. It's been forever since I've seen the Su-". It occurred to him that talking about his experiences in Hell might not be the smartest move. "I-I mean because where I live it uh...rains! Yeah! A lot!". He nervously glanced over to his side knowing that this probably was not the best way to greet someone he had known for less than thirty seconds. It shocked Jican when the sword within the scabbard on the stranger's back began to speak. "Uh...do swords normally do that?", he asked not actually knowing the answer to the question. When the sword began to reprimand him for destroying the forest, Jican was filled with a sense of shame, followed immediately by a sense of confusion at the name of something called the "BBA" "What's the...BBA? Is that a band or something?", he asked. The goat had introduced himself as Chai and offered to help Jican train. His happy expression vanished. "W-Wait, are you sure? Not to insult you sir but seeing as you can fly I'm sure you're capable of handling yourself, but I'm not sure how strong you are in comparison to me. Regardless, if you're still up for it...". The Saiyan flipped backwards and once again assumed his fighting stance. Despite having bags under his eyes from excessive training, he still managed to grin. A white aura surrounded Jican as he powered up as much as he could. Once it dissipated, he looked Chai in the eye. "I'd be more than happy to accept your offer."

Despite the saiyan's initial hostility, Chai would continue talking as if he had just met an old friend after several years. Soon enough, his words seemed to hit their mark, bringing Jican back to reality. Chai sighed in relief- a sparring match was better than a fearful fight for survival, after all. After his comment about the wonderful weather today, his guest grew frantic after cutting himself off. Chai raised a brow, though he simply nodded along for now, putting a note about the initial comment in the back of his mind. Besides, was a place where it always rained that far-fetched in this crazy multiverse? "Whatever you say." Chai responded soon after with a shrug and a smile.
And then came Guardia, with his eye of coal. With a sentient sword came the usual expected shock and confusion. "Don't worry about Guardia. He's actually a demon-- But a really cool one." Guardia briefly paused his rant about the ecosystem, eye darting to Chai. 'You know it, Chai.' He responded back before directing his attention back to the now thoroughly shamed Jican. At the mention of the Army, Chai found it only reasonable to explain. "The BBA, or Blue Banner Army, is Earth's defense force, as well as it's law enforcement and central government. We're led by the premier, Vi-Poi." Chai nutshelled the explaination. Sure, there was KAOS and all the other branches, but that wasn't to be dawdled on just yet.
In response to the zoan's proposition to train, Jican grew a little worried, causing Chai to roll his shoulders with another warm smile. "Don't worry about it- I got an idea." He quiped back in response to the boy's worries about their difference in strength. Nonetheless, the blue-haired saiyan accepted the goat's offer. "W-- Really? Huh." Chai commented, glancing off to the side. "...Honestly didn't think I'd get this far." He put a hand to his chin, shaking his head. "I digress."
The KAOS officer's eyes darted to Guardia. The two seemed to exchange glances, with Guardia letting loose a knowing sigh of agitation. Chai, for one, was a big fan of teamwork in battle. Anyone who couldn't fight in unison with another was bound to lose against a team, after all. And with all the factions butting heads, teams were quite common. "So, here's my idea." Chai raised a finger, gesturing to himself. "I'm not gonna hold back this battle- it's not like anyone else will in a fight of survival, after all. But!" He paused, a smile creeping across his face. "In any real fight, a proper combatant usually smart enough to bring an ally to help, whether they be a hero or villain. With the power of a team, I believe even the strongest warriors can topple over." He gestured to the sword, whom floated over to his temporary wielder. "So, I'll let you briefly use Guardia so I can see how good you are at this first, and have an edge in our little spar."
Guardia's eye narrowed. '...Was that a pun?'
Chai seemed to ignore his partner's question, instead letting his smile fade. There wasn't a burst of ki or energy, just a steady rise in power as black veiny markings coated the zoanthrope's cheeks, arms, and palms. His one good eye inverted color to match the missing one- now sporting a black sclera and white pupil. Chai furrowed his brows, raising a hand and preparing a orb of rainbow ki in it. "So, if you don't have any questions or anything, shall we begin? You can have the first move."

Thread PL: 11,218 Heavy Weights: Off Ki Suppression: N/A Pracross had started freaking out when he originally saw the fire, and still was, in fact. He was on his way back from Ginger Town, as he usually does and now see the smoke inside of the bamboo forest. "Oh god, oh god, oh god!" The last time he saw a fire in the forest, it was related to demons and sacrifices, which was how he got his scythe. He stood on the dirt road, hands around his head as he freaked out. I need to stop it but I almost died last time! He clenched his fists and looked as his hands. If he stood there, and it was something bad, it could cause big trouble, while if he intervened and it was just a bonfire, he'd be really out of place and would probably be attacking humans having fun... Dammit! thought the saiyan as he took off, his speed incredible, leaving a quake as he rushed by, arriving to the site of the fire almost immediately, then landing towards the side, creating a small crater near the source, which which when he jolted up, he saw it really was a fire, or at least a starting one.
The saiyan screamed in frustration and fear, as he tried to think of a solution and couldn't find any other idea except to do what he does best. Punch trees. He started to stomp on the smoking area, trying to burn it out as quickly as he could. As he stomped, he tuned out the noise around him and focused fully on saving the forest of precious bamboo. After working for about three minutes, he managed to stomp out every last inch and rubbed his sweat away. "Dammit, who would do this?!" Then he realized that three other people were with him. "Uhhhh..." The young saiyan turned around slowly and smiled awkwardly with raised eyebrows. "Hey there..." He stared down the three around him and grew even more awkward. One Saiyan, A Goat Zoanthrope and... a...sword?! The Sword was talking and moving about. "What did I just walk into...?" The boy, just in case, reached back into his bag for his staff, one inch in length currently, but was ready for any move the three were encouraged to make on him.

Jican couldn't help but look over to the side a little bit when Chai said his response to Jican's obvious rain lie. Luckily, he didn't catch on, but it was probably only a matter of time before Jican's new friend connected the dots. When told that the talking sword of snarkiness was actually a demon, he wanted to question how a sword could be a demon, but seeing as Jican's tree destruction had angered Guardia, he decided not to anger him any further and leave the topic alone. "...Blue Banner Army, huh?", Jican thought to himself at the mention of the army of the same name. He had gotten a little suspicious. "If it really IS Earth's protectors, then how come I haven't heard of it? I thought Ms. Rei mentioned something about a zhe...zetter...zuchhini...something being the fighters of Earth...". Speaking of fighting, it seemed like Jican's new friend had actually accepted his offer for training. Now that Chai was on board for training with Jican (or more accurately, Jican training with him), the Saiyan couldn't help but have a huge smile on his face. He had been itching for a fair fight since the afterlife, which definitely did not grant that wish. Chai's lack of confidence in his teachings made him chuckle a little bit inside, but now was no time for jokes. It was training time. When the zoanthrope mentioned that he would be going all out just like a real fight, Jican cracked his knuckles. "Glad to know we see eye to eye when it comes to training! I wouldn't have it any other way!". At the mention of bringing allies to battle, Jican's face saddened a little bit. "Yeah...allies.". Seeing as the last time he had fought with allies ended with the deaths of three people, Jican was a little nervous about fighting a full-on battle with someone who already had a bad opinion of him. Regardless, he straightened his sad face back into his usual one. Although he hesitated, Jican agreed to fight with Chai's sword friend. "Alright, I'll fight with Guardia I guess.", he said. After taking the sword from Chai, his hands almost dropped to the floor. The sword was heavier than he thought it would be. Regardless, he managed to pick it up (albeit, he's not cool enough yet to use it with one hand.) He also realized he had no idea how to actually wield a sword. He tried digging up memories on people who had wielded swords in the past, and only one needed to come to mind. "....Ms. Maeve.", Jican thought to himself. The fight was so long ago, yet he vividly remembered the battle (and the beatdown that came with it). He tried to imitate the swordswoman's stance, but obviously there were some things wrong with it. "Alright. Ready? Here I come!". Jican charged at Chai as fast as he possibly could, attempting to slice Chai at the arm. ...until he saw someone angrily stomping on the fires he'd created. The blade was centimeters away from Chai's fur when Jican stopped swinging. He turned around to the stranger, only to realize that it was the person he had met when he got lost in the forest that one time. "...oh, hey! You again!", Jican said to Pracross. It hadn't been long since they sparred in that forest. "Hey, you like training right? Come join me and Chai! It can be a two versus two!", the Saiyan suggested. "Er...more of a two versus one and a half.". He quickly looked down at Guardia. "No offense. But hey, I can take it!". It seemed like Jican had temporarily forgotten about his death, and was momentarily back to the fun-loving person he used to be. "Regardless of whether he joins us or not...". Jican quickly turned to Chai, holding the palm of his hand, now coated in yellow energy, towards him. "We're still fighting!". An electric energy wave spewed from Jican's hand, headed straight for the zoanthrope. "Go, Thunder Buster!"

Again, both Chai's curiosity and suspicion were piqued when Jican seemed a little down at the mention of bringing allies to battle. It didn't take a rocket scientist to know he had lost an ally- Chai knew that tone, that gaze, all too well. Nonetheless, he'd just let off a quick sigh, remaining quiet about his new knowledge for now. After ushering the boy to pick up and wield Guardia, the glaring sword would lodge himself further into the ground with silent defiance.
For a moment, Guardia would use his telekinesis to pull against Jican, chuckling internally. In reality, the sword weighed less than a pound- the only "real" part of his body was only his hilt, as the blade was made of weightless ki energy. After earning an irritated glare from Chai, the sword would allow himself to be plucked off the ground, though he continued his weighty illusion. 'About time you got some muscle, kiddo.' The sword chimed in the blue-haired saiyan's mind alone with a quick roll of his eye. 'But don't you worry about a thing- I'd NEVER lose to Chai. I know all of his tricks!' Guardia proudly proclaimed. 'So just follow my lead, and we are gonna kick his fuzzy butt! Now GOGOGOGOGOGO--' The sentient sword ushered, as Jican dashed towards Chai. The goat raised a hand to catch the sword in an awesome pose and clash... Well, he would have if he wasn't interrupted.
The two clashing warriors put a pause on their fight when another strolled in. Chai quickly caught eye of the newcomer's tail-- another saiyan, it seemed. Chai opened his mouth to speak, though Jican was quick to recognize the newcomer. "Uh, yes-- you! Hello! Hi!" Chai spoke after, putting his hands on his hips with a wide, yet meek smile. The one-eyed goatman nodded along when his new trainee offered to have the other saiyan join in on the fight, though Guardia would send another glare when his new wielder didn't count him as a whole person in the fight. 'You're the one to talk, shrimpy.' The blade spoke bluntly.
"But, uh, yeah. Name's Chai. I'm workin on a school thing." The goat rolled his shoulders and stretched an arm. "My pointy friend there is Guardia. Say hi, G." Guardia turned his gaze to Pracross, pointing a pair of fingerless finger guns at the saiyan with a wink... or was it just a blink? ''Sup. I'm Guardia. And I'm cool.' The confident cutlass commentated, earning another smile from his partner. "And you and my friend seem to be acquainted... You and... you... uh..." Chai stammered, glancing between the two monkey men. "I-- I don't think I know either of your names." He finally concluded with a weak chuckle.
"So, yes. If you need to know more about me or G, I'd be happy toooOAAAAAAAAGH!" The goat began, only to let out a startled yelp when the blue-haired boy rushed him again with a strange, electrical attack. Unable to dodge in time, Chai would flinch as the blast corsed through his form, causing some fur to spike up from the shock. However, the only real damage was some dust that was thrown onto his form, which the goat fiercly shook off. No damage-- or if there was any, it was barely noticeable.
"So you wanna play hardball?" Chai was dead serious now- no more nice guy for this spar. "I can play that too." The zoan smirked, letting a pulse of ki echo from his form as he charged an attack...

There was an awkward silence for a minute, or it felt like one. The figures before him were new… No, that’d be a lie. That's Jican! The supersonic Saiyan smirked and held up a peace sign to the blue haired one who had the sword against the Goat’s hand. Was this a developing fight? Maybe one that had already fully developed? That question was answered by the dark skinned Saiyan who offered for him to join. “Want your butt kicked again?” Pracross laughed smally, knowing well he had lost that fight like he always did, but even so, he still reached into his bag and pulled out his weights, donning them as always. Maybe a partner could be what helps the Saiyan excel for once? That's when the goat spoke.
He was obviously shy, or distraught, though who could blame him when someone just shows up from nowhere in the middle of the forest and the guy you're fighting just HAPPENS to know the other Saiyan? Such an awkward situation for your average goat… Wait, no that NEVER HAPPENS! Pracross blinked and stared at the goat, smiling at his attempts to speak, which when he managed to stammer out a hello, the Saiyan just simple replied with a “Hey”. Pracross scanned the goat with sharp eyes, noting the features. The long cloak, the kind face, the missing eye… it was all… kind of odd together.
“Nice to meet ya!” Said the Saiyan in trench, crossing his arms. His eyes shifted to the sword, who spoke with english words. To an average person, this would be mind blowing, but to Pracross, his eyes went a little dead. Oh god, there’s two of them… He sighed and looked up to the goat, who introduced himself as Chai... Chai… Hmm, rolls off the teeth. He also spoke of his upcoming “School Thing” that he’s working on. A student? Interesting. After a bit of stretching, Chai introduced Guardia, a sword with the ability to manifest hands and had an eyeball on the ord at the end of the hilt. He seemed a lot less annoying than Tempest, the scythe the Saiyan carried around… Speaking of which, the Saiyan had forgotten he existed, making him gasp and pull out a small pole, about a foot in length. “Sorry about that, buddy” whimpered the Saiyan as the pole opened up to it’s full form, a scythe with glowing red eyes and a magical purple glow. “But I got you a new one!”
“A new what…?” It growled, glowing as it spoke. A cranky scythe as always, but now with reason. A bad combo for a bad day. “Hmm? What’s this?” The demon peered in curiosity from the boy’s hand over to the sword that laid in the other Saiyan’s. “Another demon in a shape much like my own?” Pracross looked at Chai with a face of confusion. Did demons always act so strange to each other? It’s like some weird relationship to talk between each other as if they were rich nobles. The Saiyan made a buzz with his lips and slung the weapon over his shoulder, walking over to the goat. “I guess I’m on your side?” The goat stuttered again.
He didn’t know the Saiyan’s by name… What a host Jican was!
“Oh! Well, I’m Pracross, but call me whatever you like. He calls me ‘Cross, some other Saiyans at home called my Parry, so feel free to any name” He pointed to Jican, then towards the ground as he explained. “And that nerd over there is Jic-” A beam of light in the shape of electricity filled the air, hitting the goat with force that would have injured the interrupted one much worse than it hurt the goat. “-an” Pracross fell silent as Chai grew a smile and charged up his power, the Earth around him floating up under his might… To put it simply, this was going to hurt, but lucky for him, he wasn’t on the other end of that. It was time to be a distraction!
Pracross turned to Jican and dashed at him, twirling his scythe as the blade twinkled. “Hey wait, I didn't sign up for this!” The slash of the sword came down at the Saiyan, then a throw of the blade to the right. “I think that’s quite literally the reason you signed up” Smirked the Saiyan, throwing a fast combo of hilt blows at Jican and finishing with an uppercut attempt before retreating back a few feet to gain some distance. “Don’t think you’re getting off so easily, Jican!”

"MY butt kicked? I think I remember kicking YOUR butt, not the other way around.", Jican replied as Pracross had challenged him to another fight. The (second) fastest Saiyan alive and Chai had made their introductions, and the battle was now underway. Speaking of which, his partner, Guardia, worried Jican. After purposefully making himself a little bit heavier, Jican realized his lightheartedness, an aspect of him he was rather fond of. However he seemed really carefree about the royale, almost as if he and Jican were guaranteed to win. The blue-haired Saiyan knew from experience that that could be a lethal mistake in battle. Jican grinned once he saw the ineffectiveness of his Thunder Buster. It didn't even do any visible damage, rather it simply pushed the zoanthrope back a little bit and made his fur stand on end. He hadn't fought someone so strong in a long while. "...well then.""I see there's no need for me to hold back!"((BGM: Final Fantasy VII - Fighting)) With that, Jican untied the tail that kept his gi together, throwing the garment off to the side. Underneath it he wore a cyan shirt, with his blue bandanna now prominently showing. But there was other thing showing as well. A hole, no bigger than a baseball, going straight through his shirt and chest, making it see-through. Jican ignored the chest wound as he charged up his ki, a white aura quickly surrounding him and Guardia. Rocks began to levitate into the air, yet they dispersed as Jican finished charging, his his body glowing with a constantly flowing aura ki. "I'm ready! Come at me with everything the two of you have!", Jican proclaimed. Pracross was the first to strike, attempting to use his scythe against Jican with Guardia in hand. The two weapons clashed as Jican swung his sword at Pracross's scythe. However, Cross was much more adept with the scythe than Jican was with the sword. The Saiyan winced in pain as his rival jabbed his scythe's hilt into his chest, and did so again as he received an uppercut. The two both jumped back at the same time, trying to get some distance from one another. "...oh, come on.", Jican told himself. The Saiyan considered his options. "Chai's way stronger than I am, and he's charging up some attack that could probably end the fight singlehandedly.", Jican thought. "But if I attack him now then he'll just unleash it. I'll have to catch him off guard later.". He turned his thoughts towards his most prominent threat: Pracross. "Since I have Guardia, it's only fair game that he be able to use his scythe. Only problem is the length of his hilt compared to my blade. If only there was a way I could...". A rather interesting idea had popped into Jican's head. "Yo.", Jican said to his sword partner. "I wanna try something. If you can, may you disperse your blade?", he asked. Since the blade was made of pure ki, it wasn't a bad assumption to make that the blade could disappear. Assuming that Guardia was able, Jican would be holding the empty hilt of a sword. "...Here goes nothing!". Jican's aura would flare up again as he tried sending his ki through Guardia's hilt and out of the top, creating a blade very different from the original one. Assuming all went well, the blade would have a blue color, and be much longer and a little lighter than the original, the only visible downside being its weakened capacity to do damage.
"Oh. Wow. That...actually worked.", Jican said, a little proud of himself assuming the blade was created. Regardless of whether or not his plan worked, he would point the tip of his blade towards Pracross. "Here we come!", Jican yelled. He would fly as fast as he could, not afraid to attack his rival head on. Jican would swing the blade to his left in an attempt to knock the scythe out of Pracross's hands. Whether or not his attack was successful, he would jump backwards and upwards into the air, holding Guardia above his head. The blade he created turned from blue to green as he slashed downwards, creating a crescent of ki that was aimed downwards onto Pracross in an attempt to damage him.

'A new what now?' Guardia narrowed his eye at the new saiyan, crossguards folded like tiny arms. Most people were quite amused when they saw a living weapon, and the blade himself loved to show off. Yet this guy seemed blase to such a strange demon like Guardia... He was talking to someone else now also, someone that Guardia couldn't exactly see yet either. But Guardia would be lying if he said he wasn't curious now.
Pracross yanked out a staff of sorts, which soon shifted into a scythe shape. An eye opened on the weapon, causing Guardia's own to widen. '...YOOOOOOOOOOOOOO' He flapped his little guards about, as easily impressed as ever. Another weapon demon! What were the odds? 'Dude. Dude. Dude. I thought there were no other demons dumb enough to get stuck in a weapon!' He chimed, closing his eye. 'But I digress.' Guardia proudly floated up for a moment. 'Name's Guardia. Guardia the Guardian.'
Chai tapped his chin, exchanging glances with Pracross for a moment. Demons were weird indeed, though the goat was just as impressed as Guardia was to see a fellow wielder of a demon-infested weapon. After Chai asked for his fellow fighters' names, Pracross introduced himself and Jican, though the latter's name was cut off by a swift attack from Jican and Guardia. Chai stood back up, hopping back beside Pracross. "Well, nice to meet you Pracross!" Chai smiled, though it faded to a concerned frown quickly. The goat's eyes trailed to his own demon weapon that was glaring from Jican's palms. "...Just, uh, watch for Guardia there, will you? He has a lot of different variants of attacks to catch people off-guard."
Pracross had began to ready for an attack. Guardia's eye trailed back to Jican, whom requested the sword to disperse his own blade. '...Alright, fine. But I'm blaming you if they take this opening!' Guardia's rainbow blade vanished, though it was soon replaced with a blue hue- Jican's own energy taking the place of Guardia's. 'Ohoho! Flashy.' Guardia chimed, though his eye trailed back to Pracross in concern. 'Well, you're the boss now, shrimp. What do we do?'
When Pracross rushed towards Guardia with a Cyclone Crescent attack prepared, the blade would quickly unleash the built-up energy as per his wielder's wishes... It probably would have knocked out the poor saiyan too, if it weren't for Pracross' faithful bullet-shield, Chai. The goat quickly leapt forward, crossing his arms and absorbing the attack's damage for his new partner. This time around, slight burns could be made out on the goat's arms. "Urgh..." Chai groaned, waving his hand to alleviate the pain. "Tricky as ever, G." Chai grinned, lowering his form as the energy gathering around him congregated into his curled horns, causing the plantlike appendages to grow in length. '...Shitballs.' Guardia quickly spoke, eye widening. They should not have let Chai prepare that attack.
'Hey, shrimp! If you want to get to that Parry guy or that impostor weapon-demon, then take care of Chai first!' Guardia ordered back fiercely. 'I'm done messing around, too.' His telepathic voice was only audible to his blue-haired buddy now. With a flash, black rock condensed around the sword's blue blade, which elongated to greatsword length. All of this was coupled by a larger increase in power as well, which would hopefully allow the duo to better dance with the goat in battle.
As the Crimson Striker Leader's adviser and tactician back in their home world, Guardia could think and plan just as well as Chai could- as the goat warned earlier, the blade was indeed a tricky opponent. '...Since I expect he will tank for those two every time, aim your attacks to Pracross. That way we can guarantee a hit on Chai.' Guardia would sure be smirking if he still had his mouth now. 'I need to regain my energy. You go on the defensive- I can take a few hits for you.' As if on cue, Chai would quickly dash forwards with his charged attack! He was aiming to snag Guardia's blade in his curled horns to prevent further movement, it seemed...

Pracross smiled big at the remark made by Jican. “If I recall correctly, that match was pretty much even, I just LET you win!” Said the Super Sonic Saiyan, laughing to himself, knowing well that he… kind of did? He was uncertain for himself, but he knew he was in pain by the end of the battle. Pracross brushed off the thought and focused on the task at hand. Jican was charging up power when Pracross came to, which when he ended, he threw out a taunt. Jican knew too well that Pracross was always one for the taunt, enjoying the feeling of kicking their butts when they get super annoying.
When Guardia started to flip out about Tempest, the Demon scythe groaned at his description, floating up to meet Guardia and staring down the sword’s eye with his own seven. “I wasn’t stupid enough to get trapped, I was CREATED and FORGED into the weapon. I didn’t have any sentience until I was in this body…” Tempest started to gather a purple glow instead of a red one as he floated down to the Saiyan in spiral. Pracross smirked as both wielders took their weapons back into their hands.
Now, Chai was introducing himself with the same look Pracross gave him. Demons were hella weird. Chai gave Pracross a proper greet, which made him feel better since he’d met so few people with kind words in his time on Earth. The Saiyan smiled and bowed to the Goat, receiving a warning from him to avoid Guardia. “Got it. I’ll focus Jican then.”
When the Saiyan blitz the other, blows had landed successfully without any real big effort as the blue haired wonder would not wield the sword just yet, but Pracross figured it wouldn’t take him long, since the sword was sentient. When the last blow was placed, he jumped back and made a recovery with a smirk. “What the heck, Jican? Still haven’t improved on that speed? Hell, I’m going easy, too!” As Jican took a moment, he seemed to be thinking about something before talking to Guardia. After a moment of silence, Guardia shifted from the rainbow blade to a sword that appeared to be made of glass, emitting a thick blue fog as his ki poured from the blade.
After the astonishing display of the change, the blue haired Saiyan pointed the sword as Pracross, then flew after him with full force, just like when they had met as a heavy hit was reeling up. If Pracross weren’t trained so high in speed, he’d be scared, but now, he was prepared for everything Jican could throw. “Configuration 2!” He shouted, the Scythe condensing himself down into 5 feet long and without a blade, perfect for blocking. With the new form at the ready, he held up the weapon to block the strike to his side… It was curved… Was he trying to disarm him? He didn’t take much thought to it as he jumped away and turned his back, feeling rather “badass”.
When Pracross turned around, his smile disappeared instantly as a wave of destruction was hurdling towards him in the form of wind. The Saiyan held his weapon up to block the strike, knowing well that he was not going to remain awake after it hit… That was, until Chai blocked the shot for him. “W-woah! Thanks, Chai… You okay?!” The strike had hurt Chai a good deal, meaning that this was not a battle to take lightly… Pracross removed the weights he had just put on and sighed, watching as they kicked up dust when colliding with the Earth.
Pracross held his hand forward and looked at the ball of ki newly forming in his hand, purple in color. “I hate to ask this of you, friend, but I’ll need you to cover me. I’m going to attempt to take out Jican if you can get some hits in him and then separate him from Guardia, but first, I’ll need time” Pracross took a long, heavy heave of air as he looked at the ki. This plan better work, or else nothing else would.
Pracross raised his eyes to see Jican and Guardia conversing… They were forming a plan, too.
