Kluttz walked down South Capitals streets while whistling the tune to Crazy Loud Strange Town, a personal favourite from a show that he watched when he was younger. "Hm. Hm hm. Hm... Eh?" He quickly paused it to see people screaming and running in terror from... Something. "What the hell?" He muttered and saw a police officer running toward the scene. He quickly bursted in front of the officer, sword drawn at his neck.
"10 seconds to tell me what's going on or your throat gets severed." Kluttz said eyeing the cop as the cop froze, shaking in fear. "T-Twenty First street... Giant red demon in the street! This i-is a violation of section 13, article 12 of the 13th paragraph-!" The police officer said, starting to yell a violation of something, to which Kluttz responded by flashing his ki, making the officer faint as he put his sword away.
"Hm... Yea, there seems a very strange km over here... Heh, demons, they don't live in the mortal realm... I think." Kluttz said, doubting what he said as he took off toward the ki and landed right in front of the demon. "Sweet mother of Kami! What the hell are you standing in the street for mate?!" Kluttz yelled at the demon, wondering if this demon attack his village. Kyori Pl is 550 with HW's! W/o HW is 2,200.
The lights of the city danced in the contest with the setting sun. People moved and crashed, a cacophony of a highway along the footpaths, people bouncing and pressed together in a stressed little ball, lights flickering in hand and all around as a single weary soul moved with about as much ease as a paralyzed man trying to walk. His body was pushed and failed, a corrupted stick in hand as his spindly features twisted and retracted at every breath, each single pressing of flesh knocking his body around as he played the game of feeble elder. His features matched the job.
For who knew how long he had donned a new set of skin since arriving on Earth. Ragged flesh flayed fresh by the hands of time, as spindly fingers held with false weakness a haggard walking stick, bent edges and hanging strips of wood loosely tied together by nothing more than single droplets of sap. If the contact lasted much longer than the split seconds he might have caused some more attention, his fine coat of furs and emptied pockets pulsated with the beat of his heart as he made sure to quickly swipe pass, letting only the briefest touch be felt and letting the ragged people in their tired states assume it was nothing more than the beat of their own heart. His dullard green eyes held the malice about them as he looked barely up, his lips torn and cracked from 'dehydration' as he cracked a weak smile to deter the younger ones from approaching. At least, the ones who had caring parents at least.
He mosied through with lacklustre care, his guide had so far worked and everything was looking up Mazoku. At least, until he started to see the crowd panic; a tidal wave of unrelenting force pushed through, the people groaning in a wave of terror as his eyes narrowed, the few left standing either locked in a deep paralysis or mere morbid curiosity. He was the latter, the word demon struck his fancy, his eyes widening with each passing step. It seems.... Demon's are still a rare commodity. He thought to himself with a shrug, pressing onwards with a feeble limp, an arm braced against his back as the sound of sirens flared off in the distance, cops passing him with little care for the old timer that reeked of trouble. It seems they were far more curious about the demon that had made itself known, rather than the Demon walking through their house.
He approached with his lackadaisical pace, letting the policeman crowd and swell in numbers; running his finger against his chest he wrote down an arcane symbol, locking in his Power Level far below what it should have been to keep himself conspicuous but not so little that it might draw attention. It was really a sweet spot that one had to reach. Too low and everyone thinks you have the power of a god back you. Too high and you played all your cards in a single swoop. Instead, he settled for three thousand, it seemed like a decent enough number, especially considering this was not that Bamboo Forest he had just come from.
With his pace, he saw the scene unfurl rather quickly. He had arrived in time to see nothing short of a substantial demon and someone shouting and hollering at the creature. His eyes narrowed. Was he to be shocked? Some human had already begun the lambasting, the vitriol running from his mouth and all he could do was chuckle, his breath tired and weary as he took himself a seat, fingers coiled underneath his chin as he leaked ever so slightly that sweet Demonic Taint to draw the Demon in. If the thing even was one, he hadn't seen anything else match the description more aptly in his entire short lived life.Kluttz \ Kyori Current PL - 134,242 H/W Equipped New PL - 33560 Demon Control [Energy Setting] ACtivated, PL Set to 3000
Kluttz watched the hideous demon stare at the screen a good distance and was extremely confused by him. Weren't they usually destructive beings? This confused Kluttz greatly but gripped his sword's hilt tighter as the demon turned to him and instantly Kluttz face went to disgust and he'd wanted to get away from this thing. "I meant mate meaning person, or guy... Not wife or some other term." He muttered and noticed the demons attitude change.
"What, an alley of yours? Gah, getting side tracked! Demon... Thing! Have you ever been to the Eastern Lands of this planet? Maybe even a remote village perhaps? If have been to one, tell me! I need to know!" He ordered the demon to tell him and force him too if needs be. Kluttz, however, failed to notice the suspiciously strong old man in the crowd, completely ignoring him. Dantalion Welp, RIP.
The attention was drawn, but at this point, it was rather... Unwelcomed. He had outed himself as Ogre, not Demon and since he had yet to ever meet an ogre this was to be an experience, one he could only wish would have occurred on Namek rather than on Earth. His eyes narrowed, his head peeking up with slim malice as he quickly stopped the brine from pouring out. "Nope. Came from Bamboo forest. A lot of bad mojo happening in there these days." His lips stretched into a sinister smile underlined by that hint of calmness. Hmm... Shouldn't have guessed it Demon. He thought to himself as his gaze flicked over the creature's body, weighty, burdened with layers of fat and a distinct growth looking as if it infiltrated his skin with a sickened spread. Though this thing does look like a Glutton Demon. He thought to himself, in some vein of similarity, most definitely not the facial features but the bulging fat that seemed to hand off his body like water that gives a single drop more would finally fall free.
The other one, however, seemed rather insulted by such mannerisms, completely looking past the aged veteran that had simply taken up his seat. Mustn't have much in the way of experience with Demons. He thought to himself, even if he did seemingly keep up his rant about Demon's the fact he couldn't notice the malevolence which he oozed was a dead giveaway. He tried to look to the lad, his gaze being blocked by the rolls of fat and lard that seemingly stood in his way.
His fingers dashed along with his addled legs with metronomic pauses, his finger tapping against the ground in unison as words coiled and rolled into the ear of the young man who hollered and screamed. It seems.... That this Demon is trying to trick you. His words manifested in a laden voice, the cooing of some women with divinity masking their words. maybe he would think a god was wishing to aid him, put him on some spiritual quest to draw his attention away from himself as he looked to the somehow standing Ogre. "You should really check it out. I think I saw a few demons running around in there." He continued from an extended pause before gripping his walking stick. This thing seemed ready to eat him and he wasn't about to let that happen.Kluttz / Kyori Techniques Used: Black Gossip [UT]
Kluttz stared the back end of the what he thought was a demon, slowly pulling out his sword. "Tch, red bastard, do ignore me!" Kluttz yells at him, pulling his sword out with a satisfying sound. He darted around the beast to see what he was staring at and stood half way between the super old man and the ogre.
He now sensed the old man's mans malevolent energy and it did not feel like good energy he usually felt from people... Well, to be honest, the ogre wasn't that much of a pleasant fellow, in looks and how his energy felt. He heard a girl speak in his mind and was confused by that. "Who was that?! What do you mean by that?! How would he trick me!?" He shouted telepathically to everyone in a nearby vicinity... Except the giant red ogre.
Kluttz was still wary of the strong ass old man and deemed him a higher threat. "Like geez... Does his guy know the meaning inconspicuous? He's totally the opposite. What person just flaunts power like that? Ugh. This is making me even more suspicious of him... Maybe I can try and leave quickly. I mean, I'm no hero. I have no impact in this... Yare yare daze... This is gonna be annoying isn't it?" Kluttz thought, sighing internally. Dantalion Using [UT] Telepathy!
His upper lip curled over the lower one, trying to hold back a chuckle as the gorged ogre seemingly was done with words, fattened fingers and nailed claws cracked as the one behind him let loose a tangent and a roar. Calmchild. Venomed words will not coax an answer from this fattened foe. His attention has been drawn to that old man. He continued, his breath gasped and raspy from the wearing of 'time', almost guttural as he spat words like one scrapped garbage from the street. "You are aware you aren't speaking? You are just.... Glaring." He paused, his attention drawn to a police officer. "Excuse me, Sir is it illegal to just stare at someone like that." He paused, looking back to the creature and moving a little back in his seat, it was starting to become uncomfortable.
With that out of the way, he pressed himself inwards, recoiling a little back into his seat as he dropped his cane, looking down with eery gloom before sighing and resigning himself as a fixture on the chair. Or a fixture in this towering beasts stomach. Try a glaze of honey. If he will not talk from aggression. Maybe the answers you seek lie with the bees. The voice paused, taking a little pause to add anticipation to this vague voice that had started to infiltrate the young one's mindscape.
Finally, he took to his job, he was an 'old' man, he had a few good years left and wasn't about to let his 'wife' and pet dog Morrislive the rest of their two years to live happy and healthy existence. He bent, he cracked and he crinkled in the motion, a hand pressed against his spine as if fearful it might finally decide to pop out of his skin."Ah... Damn bones. Don't work like they use to." He grumbled as the police slowly backed behind the old man, no one seemingly made the motion to pick up the staff, maybe the thought of the proud old man was there, or in a world of superheroes helping had just become the thing you do in a fight rather than the odd deed for the sake of a poor old mans health. Heaven knows he seldom sees them in this crowd of young blood.
He looked to the crowd, he seemingly was the only one with either the madness or the gal to talk to the puffy red ball and with the situation quickly resolving the police man were rolling out since there wasn't some black kid playing with a toy gun in the immediate vicinity and this Ogre was more passive than dead tumbleweed. Sure he was there, but he wasn't doing any harm and their job was to protect and serve not watch from the sidelines and the people who stayed to watch had been disappointed by the outcome, except for the babblings of a madman with a sword. The police maybe should have handled it. But they had better things to do.
Kluttz stared at the old man, glaring, not wanting to appear weak to whoever this guy was. People looked around with inquisitive looks, wondering who was talking to them, seemingly in their mind. Kluttz watched the ogre and demon, wondering which would make the first move. "I can't sit and wait for one to taker action. Hmm... Maybe I should go for the demon then interrogate the old man? If the demon is holding back then I need to be careful. Hnn, what to do..."
Kluttz muttered this and pondered, then sensed the ogre power up something, to which, Kluttz readied himself, charging at the ogre, sword glistening in the sun as he fired a blast... Right above Kluttz's head, to which, it hit a shop, 'causing it to explode a shop, inciting panic in the crowd, making them scream and start to run, the police officers stood there in shock.
Kluttz readed his sword and was attempted to plunge his blade into the belly of the beast. Dantalion
When fires burned and brimstone laid the groundwork of cities, what was a breath of fire in all that commotion? Of course, there was no brimstone accentuating their feet, no columns of fire lighting the skies with tongues of flames. No this was just some tub of lard letting off, by comparison, a breath of steam to that hellhole. And with such a little display, all he was done was move a little bit back in his seat, pulling out a sheet of paper and reading it over briefly, unenthused for the current antics but couldn't help but have that smile etched into the fabric of his skin.
It started with the breath of flame, the catalyst for war and the madman of fighting and what he assumed was nothing short of a Vengence Boner. He ran his finger a few times against the bench, what was he to do in all this. Fight them? That would require him breaking cover, especially since the police had been drawn back by the allure of violence and the people and this time made a proper escape. Child, be r- He cut himself in a heart beat as he broke into violence. This one was too stupid to listen to reason, far more obsessed with cutting his problems in two just like every other degenerate of the mind.
But the question was, with all his power, all his might and his capacity for destruction dwarfing most others in his current vicinity. Was he going to do anything? Was he going to save the people in distress?. The short of it, no. The long of it still not just with a few more reasons. The first simply being, he wasn't there to care, this was just him going about his business till he reached Yunzbit heights. The next reason was his cover couldn't risk being blown. Sure maybe if he had found interest, maybe if this man with a sword could listen before jumping to violence. Or this Ogre was actually a demon, but instead, he was blocked from success and decided to simply watch how things played out instead.Kyori /Kluttz Techniques used - Black Gossip
Kluttz watched the ogre dodge... Well not dodge per say, more like stumbling out of harms way. He noticed the demon has buffed up and doubled in power, which was near double his power. "S-shit! He's angry now." Kluttz muttered here the female voice again. He jumped back into the crowd of people, beside the weird and creepy old man. "Okay, what the hell are you?" he whispered to the old man, sliding the sword back into his sheathe.
"Are you the one doing that voice? Your way too suspicious and powerful to be a random person and your energy feels like utter shit. Your power is not human, no human can has this bad of energy." Kluttz said as people gawked at him, which he promptly ignored. He was very wary of this old man and if need be, he could try and use the ogre to his advantage. Dantalion
His feet tapped and patted against the rocky floor beneath. Rolling back his fleshy sleeve as if imagining a watch had been ticking away the seconds and minutes of time. "Hmmm.... Starting to get a little bit late." He muttered before looking up to see a load of weight and girth had managed to slim down into a slightly more appealing form, though if any women knew the players that laid in waiting he doubted they would be swooning. Slowly he creaked from the little chair he had, eyeing the duo and finding this to not be what he had expected. One he couldn't get through and the other had become a lacklustre walking apocalypse.
With a hovel, he slowly bent over as he crawled from his chair before turning to see the most violent of the duo speak out against him, his signature charm lacing his every word with spoilt venom. "Oh. No couldn't be me. Maybe all that head trauma has finally just caused you to go insane." He paused, what most others would call a sincere smile something was simply off with the way his teeth neatly fit in even with their jagged edges or the way his eyes almost seemed devoid of life as if he had simply given up. "As for power..." He looked down at his cane than back up to the man, a curious glance given followed by an exacerbated cough. "I don't know if you notice. I can barely stand." He said as he began his hovel, his little dance of a charade as he decided maybe he should take his leave and ignoring his minor statement of bad mojo flowing freely from him.Kluttz / Kyori
"Gah, what the hell?! This old man is playing me for a fool!... Well, I could try that... It would be a very dick move... And If I'm wrong, well, he's an old man so it's not like it'd be a huge loss..." Kluttz thought, not believing the old man for a second and forgetting about asking about his nasty feeling energy. He noticed the ogre begin to run toward him and not really caring who or what was in the way. which gave Kluttz an idea.
Kluttz attempted to grab the old man by the shirt and toss him at the charging, mentally irregular ogre. "Come on, let's see what you could do!" Kluttz thought, hoping he wasn't wrong. Dantalion I'm so sorry... I have no excuses.
His heart shrank three sizes that day and a smile wry slipped across his face as he felt his skin torn and gripped, his body tossed into the fray as he gave a barely noticeable wink to the violent little man. What followed was a blood curdled scream, the likes of which an Alzheimer patient would have when waking up in a strange room with nurses at his every beck and call. "Raaah... Ahhahahaha. His screaming, his features noticeably morbid as his skin parted apart, the horns of the ogre making short work of his lower abdomen.
He pressed a hand against the ogres head, a pulse of energy propelling himself across and into the building adjacent to himself, that building destroyed prior by the gluttons roar now had one more casualty. A broken, old decrepit man who had just been severely wounded and was quickly bleeding out, or at least to the untrained eye it would seem that way. The wound was there sure, but miniscule tentacles were already at work healing and restricting the open wound. But the policeman didn't need to know that.
His words were a cacophony of blood and moans, the policeman quickly rushing to the scene to apply what little first aid they have followed by others pulling their guns and aiming it at the bringer of near death. As he chocked and coughed the ambulances were already being brought in, but more so. A certain voice had returned. Bastard child! The feminine voice rang, their divinity short lived as anger filled their ached words. What futile volatile man tosses a ragged old man into an oncoming Demon! The words become more and more engrossed with hate, Dantalion's power level rapidly dropping as the Police applied pressure to the wound, a little more than just uneased by the feeling of his clothing and the way it pulsated. Did your parents bash your skull against a tree as an infant or were you just born this Doltish! The words rang the policeman's starting to call in reinforcements. This had all gone awry so very fast and Dantalion couldn't help but bring himself a smile.Kluttz / Kyori Techniques Used - Black Gossip
Kluttz winced when the old man was smacked away by the ogre, him lying on the ground, and to Kluttz, a dead body. "Shit, now I feel like I'm more of an asshole!" Kluttz muttered this, growling and cursing to himself about that, but then he remembered... He can sense energy, which at a moment like this, would be REALLY helpful. He sighed, and took off, narrowly dodging the ogre. He COULD take the ogre... But, ya know... He needed to get strong, so weights will stay on.
He landed next to the old man and yelled at the sky for seemingly no random reason, "Shut it lady! If you really wanted to do something then you'd do it instead to a fucked up guy! So, take my advice, shut the fuck up, go the fuck to hell, and go FUCK yourself!" he yelled, annoyed as he turned back to the old man. "Yo, uh, sorry my man. Didn't mean for that to happen." the young swordsmen muttered.
"So yeah, uh, sorry for tossing you at the demon and stuff. Uh, I'm not good with this kinda stuff 'n what not.... Welp, caio!" he yelled, taking off away from the city and from the police. He didn't want to face that ogre or the police 'cause that didn't seem like any fun what so ever. Dantalion Exiting thread and taking PL with HW bonus.
He pressed a fanged tooth into his lips, a stream of blood rolling down as he forced a sputter and cough, a policeman at the scene were far from the lackadaisical care this one had exhibited. His eyes grew wide, the policeman more focused on the crippled man than anything and in the distance, the wail of an ambulance could be heard, the sound intensifying as he looked to the brat that had caused his so called suffering, listening to his so called apology which seemed to act just a tad too uninterested. "Y... You bastard..." He spat, a trail of blood rolling across his sagged flesh as he laid his head in the rubble.
He could hear them coming, his eyes closing not from death but from lack of places to sleep comfortably, his so called dying words as he gripped a policeman by the shirt, pulling him down as he whispered his curdled blood popped near the man's ear, "I.. Want him..." His eyes grew wide, his body began to disintegrate, flesh turning to sand as he made his own escape. It was a painful thing to be sure, and his brain swell with concentration to make sure he came together in the right place or else stand a few feet shorter. "Arrested..." He finally coughed up, his words becoming nothing more than a faint hum in the air as his body finally dispersed, running along the ground in a trail of sand that crawled between the cracks, quickly disappearing to only come back together in the darkness of an alleyway.
He paused, pulling himself together as he looked to his clothing, shifting and coiling a little, just enough to not draw their attention as he made his way out of South Capitol. "Well." He paused, grabbing a homeless man by the wrist, quite carelessly picking him up to see the time. "It looks like it is time for me to depart." He muttered, looking back and forth to check for the police. They were too busy at the crime scene, cleaning up the mess Klutz and Kyori had left, and no doubt, chasing down the man who killed an elderly person on the hunch he could handle a rampaging Demon.
