Name:
Turn Whirley
Alias:
Iron Angel.
Species:
Human.
Gender:
Male.
Age:
25.
Appearance:
Turn Whirley is a (somewhat) handsome, middle-aged man who tends to give little to any thoughts on his usual attire, usually wearing a bland, grey vest, a pair of black shorts and a fancy set of red sandals. On extremely rare occasions, he wears a business suit, red tie and a proper set of black shoes, although he tends to instantly rip off these clothes as soon as he's out of public view. In his 'Iron Angel costume', inside the suit he tends to wear the same thing, although he has a tailor on payroll for one his clothes get ripped in battle. Because, you know, he may not like fashion, but he doesn't like nudity either.
History:
Turn Whirley was born in an age of marvels, heroes and villains and our protagonist for today happened to be of...the first or the second, pick your pick. Anyways, in this world, he was born with two gifts: the blessing of knowledge, and the benefit of money. However, the second was by bad methods. You see, his parents were the founders of a huge cosmetic company, and they succeeded mainly due to their smart advertising and manipulation of buyers, having complete and full understanding of the average human, and heavily, heavily exploiting that market, wasting their knowledge on gaining fame, riches and a lot of soap bars.
When Turn was born, though, they realized something terrifying: their son was, for all intents and purposes, potentially smarter than them, using his genius to wow his way through school, life and friends. Your average nerd becomes popular in the future; he was popular as a nerd in the second grade. Soon enough, his parents developed a huge fear that he would usurp them of their position through violent means-assuming he grew up like they did-and, as a counter, decided to enforce upon good principles-helping others, putting his genius to good use, being a great person. Yes, they were aware they were horrible people. But they didn't care. Hypocrisy seemed to run in the family; they hated other people being as corrupt as them.
But, alas, the child found out, and he began plotting against them, such as installing a security camera wired to their car hoods-ALL of them-and, apart from that, also wired their brakes to a remote of his, being able to de-activate their brakes wirelessly with the click of a button. And, on a speeding highway with a guest, Tom Whirley's parents were removed from this earth. After inheriting their massive fortune, he began to go against everything they taught him and laundered his money, going on with his arrogance and influence as a way to be a massive douche.
Over time, a business man who had worked his way to greatness had began to get deeply suspicious of his actions and launched a campaign against the business man, as Turn merely dismissed it as slander-as did many others. However, when the raging events of the past few years began to take place, his sayings only grew exponentially in size as Turn Whirley continued to invest into futuristic toilets. Eventually, inner secrets of his family's ways and workings were revealed, and his empire began to crumble massively. In a few months, the cosmetic moguls fell down on their feet, into the realms of poorhood. In this time of desperation, the forgotten Tommy had a change of heart-a revert of heart?
He decided that, due to the world's growing problems, and the resurgence of martial arts warriors, that not only were his parents investing in the wrong market, that they were doing the wrong thing with their knowledge. He decided, in a fit of visions, hopes, dreams (and a bit of money) that he would dedicate himself to protecting Earth. Unfortunately, he was not as hyper-dedicated as the usual Z-fighter, and the interests of others-other worlds, smaller businesses and people-were still held in surprisingly high regard somewhat, seeing that any death is a bad death.
Starting Planet:
Earth.
Techniques:
(I'm aware there are no techniques)
Offensive:
Support:
Utility:
Special:
Items: 1000 Zeni, One-Use Pod
Personality: The Iron Angel is a well-meaning, somewhat arrogant and overly-helpful man, usually thinking because of his impressive technology that the world would instantly fall to his knees. However, this part of him has been majorly neutered since h lost all his wealth after his useless tech expenditures. Pre-current history, Turn used to be over-dependent on the revolutions of his tech company, not realizing right now that auto-cleaning toilets and advanced 'Robot friends' weren't very important at the time. This hadn't dawned on to him before his stuff got trashed.
As for his over-helpfulness, this also strangely goes with his arrogance. He tends to be too beneficial, feeling massive (but rarely shown) guilt over his failure to use his technology in good ways. Due to this, he tends to aid in small missions and things whenever he can, looking out for big threats to his people but always keeping an occasional check on the little guys. Unfortunately, after big, successful expenditures, he sometimes tends to think that the world owes him a certain amount, and this inkling of arrogance tends to grow bigger as time goes on, sometimes momentarily making big marks on his personality. Fortunately enough, when these actions have consequences, he tends to get out of it-before falling into the same loop again, albeit with some resistance.
