(This thread is another extension of this thread link, which is the main hub thread. Mizuna, here's the response to you!) "Ah, an applicant," Alaistair spoke charmingly, his hands clasping each other for a moment with a clap before sliding parallel to each other as he asked the young timid girl, "You seem rather young, too! Is this your first time applying for a job?"The red devil, meanwhile, was scoping out her ki's presence. For someone who looked so very timid and average, they were boasting a presence that one wouldn't expect! However, even if it turned to be a rouse of sorts and she was violent and crafty, this girl was weaker than even the clone before him. He gestured to floor with one hand, asking her, "Before you make your decision on what you'd like to do, why don't we explore the floor first and become acquainted with one another? My name is Al. I am the owner of the Cherry Valley Loft! Whom do I have the privilege to be acquainted with today?"

Taking one look at the man slightly, she for the first time had noticed his demonic appearance, causing her to let out an inaudible squeak. While his voice was charming, something she had appreciated, it did little to detract from the fear she felt at this current time. However, this was only apparent on her face for a split second as she forced herself to mask it. She needed to try and be confident in order to impress her applicator, especially considering how his intimidating appearance made him appear as a man with high expectation. While Mizuna had managed to hide most of her fear it was impossible to speak without having small stutters within her voice. "Y-yes." She began a bit slowly. "I'm older t-than I look, although I've n-never had a job before, I hope that's f-fine. Although I do u-understand if you are looking for those with e-experience. I'm a b-bit nervous, I a-apologize." After she had finished speaking her eyes widen slightly as he introduced himself as the owner of Cherry Valley Lofts. She had not known that this entire time she was speaking to the owner of this successful business and now that this fact was clear she could not help at all but shrink back even further.
Nodding her head slowly, she instead tried to ignore anything intimidating about Al, rather focusing on the casino floor which was stretched out in front of the two. It was impressive how large the floor was and how everything was formatted. While she had never visited a casino within her life, she had often seen them depicted in large magazines and shows upon her television when she was younger. While she had not particularly thought much of these sorts of establishments seeing one with her very own eyes for the first time was astounding as she was filled with the glee of one seeing a new place for the very first time. Taking one more deep breath, she once again spoke, this time the stutter was gone from her voice, although she would find herself unable to speak very loudly at this point, her voice just barely above one of a whisper. "My name is Mizuna, it's a pleasure to meet you as well Mr. Al. I apologize if I'm not up to your expectations..." Mizuna trailed off slightly at the end before she would continue talking in her quiet tone. "I don't have much experience with any career, although I can learn." The young woman could only hope that Al would accept her as a worker in his casino despite her inexperience and the nervousness she presented although she would always brace herself emotionally for the worst-case scenario.

The girl was nervous... Or perhaps flabbergasted was a better word to describe her current state of mind! Alaistair listened to her stutter along after his statement to her and laughed a bit, while telling her, "There's no need to be so timid here! This is just one part of the entire business, so if you don't feel like you'll be able to handle yourself here, don't consider yourself out of an opportunity!"After the statement, she seemed to calm down a bit. She spoke up, very quietly, with her name. Mizu? Miizun? She was being very quiet about it, to the point it sounded like incomprehensible mumbling. Alaistair frowned, thinking to himself, "This is even worse than Tekuma... She doesn't look that different from her. I ought to ease her a bit.""Mizu, was it," he asked for confirmation, putting both hands in his pants pockets, before elucidating to her, "You actually remind me of a girl I knew. Around your age, too! She had a great array of talents that had yet to be tapped into... But, first and foremost, we have to get an idea of where you'd be best suited! Follow me."Alaistair walked down the velvet carpeted floor, down a set of easy to see stairs due to a gold trim with black step markers deliberately put on the bright red color to identify the steps! If it weren't easy enough to see, there were bronze colored railings that had been getting used by some people as well. The well dressed devil was expecting her to follow, his hands brought out to point at everything. "First things first, this building is divided into several different floors, numbering 3, depending on the amount of money customers have at their disposal," Alaistair explained, gesturing around at the machines, card tables, arcade games, and so forth. While there were no children around at the age of 12 and below, there were still teens going around the area, participating at tables and in the arcades with plenty of adults on floor who didn't have much money on them, "Each floor is designated for those with different monetary equity. Granted, anyone can go to any table or game on the three floors and both play and gamble there! It's just that you'll be expected to see 'higher class' individuals at the higher levels for organization purposes. Most of the tables you see are for card games, which have both automated dealers and personal dealers! Most prefer the automated dealers, but here at the Cherry Valley Loft Casino, we see it better to spread the commerce through hiring individuals, mechanical or not... If you're wondering what I mean by that, I mean those who build robots with only a singular purpose to deal cards and keep the game fair! Are you with me so far?"( Mizuna, your go! Zyajin, come on over here! )

Zyajin blinked as he received the demons telepathic message, raising an eyebrow even as he began to make his way towards where this casino location was. Poker? Never played this game before... or any game actually as a matter of fact. the Bio-Android tried to relay back to Alaistair, uncertain if the demon would have been able to hear his thoughts. As he arrived, he could see the demonic etrepeuner talking to a young humanoid female, judging from the attire of course since it did not appear that they had yet reached physical maturity as of yet. It appeared that she was here for employment, although what career in a place like this a child could accomplish was somewhat perplexing to the living weapon.
He shrugged his shoulders and thought nothing more of it, knowing from experience that the children of Earth tended to find something to fill their time or were capable combatants. Of course he was basing that information solely from his encounter with the Saiyan youth Etoru and the Arcosian child Brisk, but it should still hold valid and true in this scenario. His tail flicked in the air as he approached the well dressed demon, raising an eyebrow as he approached in order to give a physical cue that he was going to make an inquiry. "Not sure if my mental transmission reached you, but in the case that it did not I shall repeat and reword the inquiry. How do you play poker? Apologies if it had and this is simply a case of repetition for yourself." he said before nodding towards the young girl as way of courtesy, returning his focus to the demon.

For a moment she was at a loss of words, primarily due to surprise. While Mizuna understood she had just been preparing for the worst case scenario, she had not actually believed she would be able to get the career. Joy surged through her mind as she found a tiny smile forming rapidly. "T-thank you, Mr. Al," She said quietly, as she allowed herself to straighten her body up slightly from the shrinking position she was once in. While it had appeared like Al did not hear her name fully due to how quiet she spoke, the young woman did nothing to correct him as she was still slightly intimidated by his presence. However, something he had mentioned had also caught her attention allowing her to dare to peek slightly at the demonic man. "A girl like me?" She pondered aloud. While she did feel better at his reassurance that she would possibly parallel this girl that he also knew, being full of talent, Mizuna had also found herself being filled with doubt. Silently she nodded as Al had requested her to follow him around the casino.
She had followed him down the room until she reached stairs. As she had paid close attention to her surroundings Mizuna was astounded about how luxurious the casino looked. The huge expansion of space, the velvet floor and even the golden trims of the stairs had reminded her more of a room in a mansion than an actual casino. Are all casinos up to par with this one? She was quickly jerked out of her thoughts as she tripped on the stairs, nearly causing her to fall face first down. She was lucky enough to catch her balance, although she felt rather embarrassed by her small accident causing a blush to form on her face and causing her head to lower slightly. If she wanted to impress her future boss, giving him the impression that she was clumsy was not the correct way to do so.
Mizuna turned her attention away from herself and began to listen to Al's explanation of the casino. She had noticed the teenagers which surrounded the two, finding this to be rather unexpected. She had imagined that only daring adults were allowed upon the floor and she was completely oblivious that there was an arcade in the building either. The young woman simply kept her mouth shut about her observations as she continued down, nodding at each word he had been saying. "I think I understand." She began saying both slowly and quietly. "Three floors with different status of people depending on how much money they have and you have mechanical dealers as most people prefer them and often consult those who make these types of robots. I think that's it." She hesitated upon the last sentence, unsure if she truly had caught everything Al had explained.
It was when she had finished speaking when she had noticed another person and come. Immediately without even thinking she let out a small squeak as she shirked back in fear of the new individual. Although not to the same extent as Al, he appeared very intimidating. The way this man would speak had slightly piqued her curiosity despite the fear she currently felt, being very formal and speaking about mental transmission? What did he mean about that? Did this man know Al? Mizuna had found the man nodding at her in acknowledgement although she found herself too stunned to even move, much less speak. She would only pause for a few brief moments as he watched their interaction.

The sound of a yelp attracted Al's ears from Mizu from the stairs. Alaistair turned to her, stating to her, "Those steps are, admittedly, a bit hard to see. However, you'll eventually be able to get used to them!"Mizu, after recovering and catching up to Alaistair, repeated back some of what Alaistair said to her. Alaistair wagged his finger and shook his head in denial of some of what Mizu said. "Misheard some of what I said there, Mizu," he pointed out, then explained, "But only about the part with the mechanical dealers. I said, while most prefer mechanical dealers, I aim to hire individuals, even if they are androids! Sure, we have mechanical... Hang on one moment. We're about to have another join us."As Alaistair said that, Zyajin, the bio-android that worked along with Breech, appeared near them! He had stated that he never played poker, telepathically, to Alaistair before arriving here. He also spoke about getting Alaistair's mental message, Alaistair putting his hands behind his back and asking suggestively, "You mean the message I left for you with Dorgia, the old man at the front desk?""Say yes, Zy," Alaistair spoke telepathically right afterwards, "We have to be incognito."He'd not really wait on Zy's response, before addressing Mizu to Zy, "Mizu, this is Zy. He's just started working at the Cherry Valley Loft, you see, as an apprentice dealer. As for your issue about how to play Poker, I will show you how to play! Keep in mind, both of you will need to pay attention to this, alright?"Alaistair would walk over to a near by card table, which had been currently empty. It'd been a half circle desk, with a felt, red surface, with the logo of the Cherry Valley Loft sewn in with white, with a neatly polished dark wood material making the design. There'd also been a stack of cards, colored black with red floral designs on it and a computer inside the archway that they could see the back of! Alaistair would take a seat on the side away from the arch, while gesturing for the to have a seat at the chairs at the archway. "Have a seat! There's going to be a lot for me to show you. First, this is a tutorial of poker we'll be going through" Alaistair spoke positively with a gesture at the table. Despite the felt appearing like cloth, it would light up softly, along with the cards, too! Alaistair continued, "Before I go into detail about how to play poker, do you guys know how many cards are in the deck and how it is split up?"( Zyajin)

The Bio-Android blinked and tilted his head a little at the spoken message as well as the telepathic one that had just been relayed to him, glancing down towards the humanoid female that was accompanying the demonic businessman. "As you say." he stated whilst he shrugged. It seemed a tad on the strange and highly inefficient side of things for Alaistair to request that Zyajin keep the fact that the demon could use telepathy a secret. Especially since it seemed that the young girl was definitely going to be an employee for the demon.
He followed him towards the empty table, taking in the relative size and designs on the furniture as well as the computer device which was for some strange reason see through. "Aesthetic choice or functional?" he inquired, nodding towards the computer, even as he looked over at the cards in the stack on the table. "Estimating average card thickness to be 1 standard millimeter, taking into account the height of the stack to be fifty two millimeters, then I would say that there would be fifty two cards in the deck, and that it would in turn be split up evenly between the various amount of players at the table?" the Bio-Android theorised as he peered intently towards the cards, gauging their thickness and height from the brief shadows and markings he could make out from the cards in question.

(Getting this back up and running! Mizuna, feel free to hop back in when you return!) "Functional aesthetic," Alaistair stated, "It could be kept hidden and then sent to modules that are built in front of the customers, which it'll do regardless, but it shows how fair we intend to make this!"The deck of cards glowed briefly, with Alaistair setting it to, 'Practice poker,' at the table. Small panels in front of Mizuna and Zyajin opened up, showing a small display of the game. Alaistair then clicked on, 'Standard,' for the rules, two of the cards being knocked out of the deck and leaving behind only the 52. At that point, Alaistair picked up the deck, while Zyajin made a guess at the number of cards in the deck. Alaistair nodded, flipping the cards around, showing the deck was organized Ace to King with each suit, stating, "Right you are there, on the number! However, the entire deck doesn't get passed around to the players. What each player gets is simply two cards, but we'll get there when we get there. First, lets get you guys familiarized with the game! As you can see, these playing cards have cards marked A to K with these different 'suits,' as they're called. In ranking of 'value,' for game winning purposes when it is based upon a singular high card, the order of value from lowest to highest is, 'Diamond, Club (this black shamrock, Zy), Heart, and Spade.' The A, despite it being where the number 1 should be, is the highest value for each suit, meaning that A of Spades is highest value card, individually! With me so far?"Alaistair would then lay the deck right in front of himself on the table, where it seemed to have a white-lined mark that fit the deck snugly. He then hit a button at his computer, which obviously read shuffle. The deck would be lowered into the table, while Alaistair sat with hands clasped together as they waited and chatted verbally. Telepathically, he asked Zyajin, "So you've trained with Denim? She just arrived in the Hotel part."(For intents and purposes, Zyajin, we're going to be a few posts behind what's technically going on in the Hotel here. All good?)
