Strolling onto the edge of the huge cliff, the woman paused to stare into the endless expanse of cliffs, valleys, and jagged hills. The woman gazed down into the void she was standing next to, admiring the steep fall into nothing. Somewhere, miles below, there was jagged rocks and the skeletons of those who had failed to make the hundred foot jump. Why anyone had tried to clear the ravine without the ability to fly was beyond the woman. She rose to her feet, stretching as she walked away from the ravine. Pausing next to the black bike she now considered a companion, the woman set her palm against the bike. Closing her eyes, she encompassed the entire frame in her ki, working metal throughout the entire frame. Her ki-control wouldn’t stop the bike from operating properly; instead it enabled the woman to give the bike a boost in durability and speed that it wouldn’t have otherwise. Straddling the bike seat, the woman gunned the engine to life, listening to the smooth purr of the engine. She gripped the handles firmly and smirked. “Nothing ventured, nothing gained.” Grinning despite herself, the young woman revved the bike into full throttle, shooting forward towards the ravine. She wasn’t aiming for the narrow crossing she’d been overlooking before; this time she was headed for the tip of the cliff, with a thousand foot gap between it and the distant mountain. The engine roared as she shot towards the edge. Widening her focus, a silver blade the size of a small building shot out of the sky, slamming into the ground at a sharp angle. Pushing the bike to its furthest limits, the woman shot up the blade. She flew off the edge, hurtling into the open air. She shouted in excitement, as her body and the bike cut through the open sky above the abyss. More blades materialized, creating a thin trail for the bike to ride upwards into the heavens. When she was almost a hundred feet in the air, the support blades vanished, letting the bike shoot forward. Then gravity ceased it, starting it’s downwards descent. The woman grinned despite herself, watching the incoming cliff. The bike slammed down hard, shocks barely holding thanks to her ki reinforcement. Hitting the brakes and sliding to a stop, the woman’s gaze shot back to the cliff she’d just left. That...was awesome! Too bad I have nothing to do after that jump. Sighing, the woman slid the helmet off her head, letting her brown hair spill out into the sunlight. She set the helmet on the seat of the bike, before enclosing both into a capsule. Tossing them into her pocket, she looked up into the sky. How long has it been since I got a good fight in? It’s been a while.

Ais had taken the day off from his duties to the Mazoku Dominion, training himself and his new power. The thicket of Namek-native trees was in the Changeling Lord's sight today as he swung a blue blade of energy at several trees at once. This blade was a much longer version of his previous blade, so a half dozen or so trees fell in one massive swing. Ais smirked, the blade retreating and the energy vanishing from around his hand. "This power.... i've never thought I would get this strong this quickly. Father always said our kind were fast learners, but wow..." His smirk widened. "I'd like to see a Saiyan take me on now." Little did he know, he would soon have that wish. Or at least half of that wish. But Ais would learn a valuable lesson that day; be careful what you wish for.
As he admired his own power, he suddenly felt a ki signature. A big one. It wasn't familiar, either. Were they being invaded? It wouldn't surprise him. Thankfully, Namek hadn't seen much fighting in the war. Was that all about to change? Ais took to the air. "Better investigate." Ais thought about getting backup for a moment, but eventually decided against it. If he had telepathy or even a scouter, he might have, but he had neither of those things. "Screw it. If I wait too long, they might get away." With that, Ais rocketed into the sky, quickly making his way to where he felt the immense power. 'Besides, they're weak enough where I can handle them on my own. My second form should be enough. I won't even need my third.'
Ais would learn another lesson that day as well; never underestimate an opponent. As he got within sight of Tulip, the Changeling Lord dropped from the sky, landing twenty feet or so away from her. His arms were crossed, a smirk on his face. "Well, well, well. What have we here? A lost puppy looking for a way home?" He wouldn't wait for a retort before he got down to business. "I couldn't help but notice you over here. No offense, miss, but you are very noticeable." He began to pace in the grass right in front of the hybrid.. "So, my girl, what brings you here to the humble home of Lord Xylo? Nothing... devious, I hope."
[OOC] Ais has arrived! Looking forward to it too. :3 Sorry for the wait, but thanks for your patience.]

The young woman turned her emerald gaze on the blue figure as he landed across from her. She looked him over twice, listening to his speech as he drew closer. She only registered about one word in five, as she marveled at the man’s appearance. This guy is one of those...Arc-asians, right? That Lord Whoever guy in the past was ridiculously strong, so this guy should be similar, right? Nodding once to herself, the girl stepped forward, as tall as her five-foot height would allow. She grinned at the blue man, before speaking. “I’m not lost, just a visitor to the beautiful plains of Namek! I’m glad you’ve taken note of my beauty; it’s not often I get complimented, especially by a warrior!” The young woman turned away from him, pacing away slowly. “And, if I’m completely honest...I’m here for the most devious of reasons: to see everything Namek has to offer, sample all of its fine cuisine in their entirety.” Her last statement was meant to be an innuendo; the woman was already raring for a fight. Turning back towards the blue figure, the woman pointed one finger towards her grin. She stepped forward, rapping her knuckles against his muscular chest as she smirked at the man. “If you want to learn more, you might as well try beating it out of me, buddy.”

Ais blinked at the woman's response. He thought he was calling her beautiful. "That's not... what I meant by "noticeable."" Ais's confident smirk soon returned however when Tulip implied a challenge to him. "Oh, you want a fight, do you?" Ais looked up at the hybrid. While she was indeed short for her race, Ais was even shorter. She had almost a full head on him. That would soon change, however. Ais locked eyes with the woman for a moment, sighing and giving Tulip a shrug. "Oh, why not? I'll give you a taste of my power, Earth woman." He chuckled and took a few hops backwards. "I need some space for a moment." He smirked. "Hah!" With a simple flex, he shattered the armor around his form. "I need some space... to grow."
He chuckled, then braced himself. "Haaaaah..." He clenched his fists, a blue outline of light surrounding him. "Haaaaaaah!" a light blue aura erupted around his body. Ais soon began to undergo a change. First was his arms. They began to bulge and contort as his muscles grew. Next were his legs. They began to do the same thing. His body bulged, growing larger and larger until the Changeling had almost doubled in height. He went from just over four feet tall to well over seven feet. His horns were now much longer, angled straight up. "Here is my second form. It is not even close to my most powerful, but it is enough for you!" Ais grinned maliciously. His voice was now deep and booming, changing to fit his size.
The Changeling lord raised one hand towards Tulip, then curled his fingers inward in a gesture that was inviting the woman to attack him.

The woman watched in silence, resisting the urge to whistle as the Arcosian accepted her challenge and distanced himself. She felt his ki building and waited for the inevitable change; humans and Herans doubled in size, Saiyans turned blonde and spark, and demons change into monstrosities. What would this short being show her? The blue Arcosian mentioned getting bigger, and the woman sighed. Just another Heran then? Guess I’ll humor the poor guy, and not stomp his party just yet. The Changeling began glowing a faint blue, as his voice grew in volume. He suddenly bulged, muscles expanding in his upper body. His lower body also followed suit, as the being more than doubled in height. His horns also shifted positions; instead of sticking sideways, he now looked like an insect. When he spoke, the woman also noted that his voice was deeper, something she hadn’t anticipated. So...did he age? Or was it just a change in size? His strength seems a bit higher than mine...but it’s nothing I can’t handle. As he thrust one hand out towards the woman, to beckon her closer, the woman shifted her stance. Forcing her boots to grip the loose grass underfoot, the woman shot forward. She slammed her shoulder into his stomach, gaze remaining on the guy to judge his reaction. As her shoulder slammed into him, the woman planted her feet and twisted her body so she faced the Arcosian. Clenching both of her hands into fists, she started throwing a volley of punches. It was scattered about, aiming for his chest, stomach, and shoulder. She also tried to plan for incoming strikes, though she wouldn’t be able to block a full assault. I’ll lead him along...then hit him with that

Just like that, the battle had begun. Tulip took Ais up on his offer to give her the first move, and she certainly didn't disappoint. Ais was impressed at her power. Just based on how she was fighting, Ais could tell she was experienced. More experienced than him at any rate. He couldn't let his guard down with this one. Especially if she was capable of transforming. The Changeling hadn't forced her hand just yet, though. He was more or less playing around for this first little bit of their fight. As the flurry of blows came his way, Ais managed to catch or dodge around half of them, using the time between his opponent's strikes to send several massive fists into her face and midsection. He occasionally mixed it up by going under her guard as she sent a fist towards him and aiming a strike right in the lung, hoping to take her breath away.
You could only get hit there so many times before becoming winded. As the two traded punches, Ais smirked. Could this be it? the battle he was waiting for? He hadn't fully tested his new strength. Perhaps now was the time? 'No. No, not yet. I need to force her to show me some of her cards.' He narrowed his eyes at his opponent as he blocked one final strike, leaping backwards and landing ten yards away. Upon landing, he caused the ground to shake with the force of the impact. "I will admit, you are quite fun to fight. Your strength is intriguing. But I wonder; can you keep up with me when i'm serious?" He flashed her a cocky grin. "I don't think you can. You should know that this only my second form." He held up two fingers as he explained. "I still have two more transformations under my belt, each more terrifyingly powerful than the last." He crossed his arms. "Let that motivate you." The Changeling chuckled.
"Now, it's my turn." Ais grunted as he pushed himself off the ground, lunging at Tulip. He threw a flurry of punches at her midsection and face, but these were only a distraction. While Tulip was preoccupied with those, Ais's tail snaked around to her flank before the Changeling Lord attempted to wrap it around her ankle. Should that succeed, he would then make an attempt to pull her feet out from under her and hold the girl in front of him like a bunching bag before continuing his assault, throwing several heavy fists at her stomach and lungs.

Tulip’s eyes widened in shock as the frost demon easily wove his way through her strikes, batting aside any that weren’t able to be dodged. He threw a few punches; they weren’t as heavy as Liang’s fist, but the ones that slammed into her stomach threatened to make her sick. A punch slammed into her forehead; whether intentional or due to a misaim thanks to her height, the woman wasn’t sure. But it still stung, bringing tears to her eyes. The Arcosian smacked her final punch down and slammed his fist into the side of her chest, driving the breath from her lungs. The woman coughed and threw a wild hook with her other hand, which the man avoided by jumping backwards and landing across from her. Wincing and speaking with what little breath remained in a whisper, the woman muttered. “Running away will only delay the inevitable, guy.” The man began speaking, arrogantly, as he stated she was fun to fight, her strength intriguing. He continued to mock her, asking if the woman could keep up with him when he was serious. The woman suppressed the urge to laugh and change right then, as the man stated he doubted it. He held up two fingers and explained he had two more forms, each more powerful than the last. The woman was no longer amused, as the man crossed his arms and spoke one last condescending sentence. “Serious? I haven’t even activated my ki yet.” The woman spoke firmly, already regaining the breath he’d driven from her lungs. She flashed an arrogant smile, until the Arcosian spoke. It’s his tur-!? The woman’s eyes shifted in shock, as the man instantly closed the distance between them. One, two, countless punches slammed into her stomach, causing the woman to almost throw up into her mouth. As her tiny body left the ground, his tail suddenly shot around, grabbing her ankle. Yanking the woman upside down, the Arcosian began throwing heavy hooks into her stomachs. Her fragile control over her stomach disappeared, as vomit and blood splattered on the ground under the woman. Her gaze fell on the Arcosian, as his blows continued raining down on her. “F-fuck you.” The woman muttered, thrusting her guard up. She felt his blows landing on her body, as she narrowed her focus. It was hard to gather her ki, as the woman struggled to retain consciousness under the heavy blows. FUCK THIS!
Her ki exploded into a silver hue around her, as the woman drove one foot into his tail, knocking it free and possibly fracturing the appendage. Catching herself with flight before she fell to the ground, the woman easily swatted his fist to either side before slamming a single, powerful fist into the center of his chest. Vanishing from sight, the woman reappeared standing twenty feet from the tall Arcosian. Grabbing the zipper to her jacket, the woman unzipped it and tossed the leather jacket to one side. Her tanktop only partially covered the bruises covering the woman’s arms and body, as the woman’s flaring aura dropped to a lower level. Smirking softly, the woman pointed a single hand at the Arcosian. “I could break you with my strongest; this is just my training given form. What’ll you do, powerful Arcosian?” Her voice dripped venom, as the hybrid began walking towards the Arcosian. Her hair band snapped, allowing her hair to flare outwards from the force of her aura. She stopped in front of the Arcosian, gaze locked on his.

Ais laughed as he slammed fist after fist into his opponent's stomach as she hung upside down by his tail. "What do you think? I hope my power hasn't let you down!" After his opponent letting loose a fair amount of blood and vomit, Ais laughed again and continued to rain heavy blows upon her. "Heh. Earthlings are so fragile." A cocky smirk crossed his lips. Then, he felt his sixth sense tingle. The woman's power was rising even higher! Ais didn't have a chance to react as Tulip slammed her foot into his tail. The force snapped the bone like a twig, forcing the Changeling to let go of her. Once he did so, he let out a roar of pain and anger.
Ais's vision turned to red with anger and hate. "YOU!" He went for another strike to the side of her face, hoping to knock her out right then and there, but his fist was swatted away with ease and he was countered with a punch to the chest. Ais's eyes bulged and he let out a brief gagging noise as he doubled over, hand over where he took the blow. He growled with anger and stared at the woman as she advanced on him, stating that at her strongest, she could BREAK him. Ais stood and clenched both of his fists. 'Break... me?' He growled once more. "You fool. Don't get cocky." His expression changed from one of anger to one of confidence once more. "Forget my third form. I'm going to go at full power. You will rue the day you messed with me, I promise." He stared down at the hybrid before spreading his stance and bracing himself.
A blue aura surrounded the Changeling once more, expanding into a dome of energy that grew brighter and brighter with each passing second. "Rrrrrr...." Ais's power began to spike dramatically. "RRRRRRRAAAAAAAAGH!!!" A blinding light burst forth from the dome, lasting several seconds before vanishing. The energy dome stayed where it was, humming softly for a few moments before shattering into a million pieces like glass. There Ais stood, an outline of blue radiance around his body. He had shrunk this time, closer to his original height at five feet tall. His form had become sleek, his horns nowhere to be seen. The Changeling's skin was also a porcelain white with no touch of corruption. His tail was still crooked from Tulip's bone-shattering kick, however. He opened his eyes, gaze locked on to Tulip.
"Now, the real fight begins. I'm not going to go easy on you any longer." He scowled, blue electricity crackling around his body as a vein came forward on his forehead, making it clear that he was barely holding back his rage. "From here on out, i'm fighting at full strength!" Ais got into his stance, holding both hands forward, open palms with his fingers point straight up. Around his right hand, a light blue aura manifested, creating a vague blade shape form the shape of his hand. "Now, fall before my blade!" Ais held his bladed hand out to the right side, the aura around it flaring up and growing stronger. The blade grew longer, reaching a total length of 36 inches and changing to take on a more accurate blade shape. The energy also became more opaque, hiding Ais's hand from view. Ais closed the tiny bit of distance between him and his opponent quickly, reappearing behind her and attempting a single horizontal slash to the center of her back.

The hybrid's emerald gaze didn't waver, as her opponent growled with rage. He spoke, voice shifting to one of confidence. He didn't seem the least bit sorry for his actions; the woman was going to ensure he knew the cost of foolhardiness. She stopped when his aura suddenly shifted, as the huge man spread his feet and stared at her. Maybe he has another trick in his ba- Her thought was cut off, as the Arcosian began yelling. His aura was growing in intensity by each second, forming an almost-blinding blue cone around the man. The shout ended when his energy peaked, light dispersing from around his form. A dome of blue energy still remained around where the man had stood, which shattered only moments later. The woman was now staring the Arcosian in the eye; his new form was much shorter, but held a far more potent energy than before. He started speaking, as the woman took a slow breath. His energy was erratic; a clear sign she'd truly ignited his rage. They were in the same boat currently, rage driving their actions and motives. The man shouted about using his full strength from this point on. “That's good; if you didn't, I'd kill you.” The hybrid didn't shift, as the man thrust his arm out to one side. She'd already seen him fighting, felt his fists. Now it was time to sample his control of ki and techniques. Her gaze narrowed as the energy surrounding the short Arcosian shifted to his arm, creating a blade of blue. It was around three feet in length; not impressive, to say the least. He declared his attack minutes before actually sprinting forward; it only took seconds in reality, but to the pissed hybrid, it was an eternity. Fall to your blade? That's cute. The woman raised her hand and curled her fingers into a gun as the Arcosian shot forward, angling his sword to stab. His energy shifted, belying his attempt to gain her back. As he appeared behind her, the woman didn't change her stance. She just mouthed the word 'bang', as a silver blade materialized on her back. It was a claymore that covered her entire back, shielding her from the ki attack of the Arcosian. She let the hand-gun drop, before her other hand reached up and secured a grip on the handle of the huge sword. “Ais, was it? It's my turn. Every exchange you remain standing, I'll increase the power by a little bit. If you keep up till the bitter end, I'll show you my secret.” Her aura flared up, as the woman slid her foot back and spun her entire body around, hefting the huge blade over her shoulder and attempting to slam the huge blade into the Arcosian's side. It was a dull edge, designed to break and maim rather than cut. A savage grin crossed Tulip's face, as she faced the courageous Arcosian.

Ais's blade collided with the sword on Tulip's back, generating sparks from the impact. The Changeling growled in frustration, pressing harder into the sword in an attempt to break it. As his opponent, spoke of their fight as though it were a game, Ais felt his anger burn more brightly. "You... don't you dare underestimate me! I'm gonna--!" Then, pain. Tulip slammed the massive sword into the Arcosian's side with force that could shatter a mountain.
Ais let out a loud gasp as the air was taken from his lungs, the force of the blow flinging him to the ground on one side. Ais laid there in shock for a moment. 'H-How...?' He turned over and began to stand up, but the Changeling was forced to his hands and knees, coughing up a small amount of blood. He clenched his fist tightly, growling in pure rage. 'You need to calm down. If you get angry, she wins. Keep calm. Think.' Ais closed his eyes for a moment, focusing on reining in his rage.
With a deep breath, he opened his eyes once more. Ais stood completely, wiping a bit of excess blood from his mouth. Once he felt completely calm, he finished his previous statement in a calm, cool fashion. "I'm gonna cut you in half." He pointed his energy blade at Tulip, a stoic look on his face. Right before his attack, however, his expression changed to a confident smirk. With that, he lunged forward, vanishing from sight and reappearing almost immediately above Tulip's head, sending a quick slash towards the top of her head.
This was a feint, however. After that slash, Ais would vanish from view again, reappearing behind his opponent. The aura surrounding him and his blade flared with power. Then, with practiced quickness and precision, the Changeling slashed upwards as if he was trying to cut her in half. A blue trail of energy followed the blade's tip as it made its way to its mark.

Finishing the slash with the sword held out to one side of her body, Tulip’s grin didn’t let up as the Arcosian flew to the side. He crashed into the earth, sending up a cloud of dust. She slowly raised the huge blade up and rested it on her shoulder, letting one hand slip off the grip. Her gaze remained on the Arcosian, as he tried to rise to his feet. He doubled over, coughing up blood from the force of her attack. His fingertips drew furrows through the earth, as a myriad of emotions crossed his face. The woman waited, until the Arcosian closed his eyes. “Come to some form of answer?” The woman asked rhetorically, as the Arcosian rose to his feet. He wiped the blood from his mouth, before stating the same claim from before. The woman merely smiled, as he recreated the blade of energy around his hand. He pointed it at her, face shifting to a confident smirk. He’d changed something with the blade; somehow made it stronger than her current claymore. The woman took one step back, spreading her stance, as the Arcosian shot forward in a blur of speed. He reappeared, hand cutting down towards her head from above. She raised the huge handle of her claymore, preparing to reverse-guard the ki-slash. Her other hand reached behind her back, as silver energy shot down her arm. “Never strike the same place twice, amateur.” Tulip’s short sentence was audible, as a silver blade, crackling with ki, coalesced in her palm. It wasn’t as big as the sword on her shoulder, but carried over twice the energy. As her silver blade collided with the Arcosian’s energy blade, the energy blade was knocked away as the sword exploded into silver shards. Releasing her grip on the claymore, it slammed into the earth behind the woman. She ducked behind the huge blade, vanishing from the Arcosian’s line of sight. “This is how you ambush an opponent.”
The blade suddenly shot upwards, sending a cascade of earth into the Arcosian’s face and body. The woman was standing behind the sword, having slammed her palm into the lower half of the sword buried in the earth. Catching the blade as it rotated upwards, the woman shifted her stance and threw the sword point-first towards the Arcosian. It was as fast as a bullet; no, almost the speed of lighting. As the blade hurtled towards the Arcosian, the woman sprinted forward, leaping into the air. Landing on the blade with one foot, the woman used the moving platform to plant her hold and send a kick outwards and up. If the Arcosian tried to avoid the blade by jumping, he would be met by a kick to the stomach or worse. If he dodged the blade, it would crash into the earth a dozen feet away, as the woman hit the ground and rolled onto her feet. Raising one hand, the blade would yank itself out of the earth and fly back into her grip, as the woman spoke firmly. “That’s round two. I’m raising the bar again.” Ki Setting Adjusted! Ais growled in frustration as his blade was blocked by a conjured blade in Tulip's hand. The word "amateur" stun a bit, but he hid the anger behind a stoic scowl. "You're annoying." When she jumped behind the claymore on her back Ais prepared for her to pull something. 'Clearly she has something planned... I need some distance.' He jumped backwards as the blade shot out of the ground, thankfully avoiding getting a face full of earth and gravel.
He noticed Tulip's intention just in time to get his guard up and prepare to parry her blade. As the sword flew at him faster than lightning, Ais roared and slashed upwards with his own blade, knocking the sword aside just barely, the tip of the blade merely grazing the Arcosian's cheek and giving it a shallow cut that trickled ever so slightly with blue blood. "Nothing!" After Ais bat the sword aside, he lunged at Tulip, his sword drawn back.
"One inch at a time! I'm gonna take you down one inch at a time!" As the battle progressed, Ais found it more and more difficult to control his anger. He hadn't been this humiliated in a long time. Not since his home was taken and his father killed. A the Changeling lord rocketed towards his opponent, he vanished from view. A feint again. He remained from sight for quite some time before reappearing right in front of her, crouched down low.
With a grunt, he spun his body slightly and swung his blade horizontally at her knees. This was yet another feint, though. Using the momentum of his swung body and his ki to propel him into the air. "Second round.. KO!" Ais shouted in maniacal glee and attempted a powerful upwards kick at the base of Tulip's skull in an attempt to send her flying into the air. Should he succeed, he would reappear in front of Tulip in midair and attempt to thrust his blade downwards into her stomach.

The woman appreciation for the Arcosian raised, as the alien managed to deflect her huge blade with a swing of his energy blade. It still clipped his chin, as the woman leaped off the blade and rolled into a kneeling position. She thrust her hand out, summoning the blade to herself. She mentioned raising the bar, glancing up in time to see the Arcosian lunging towards her. She tightened her grip on her sword, preparing to bash the alien in his forehead after catching his forearm. But the Arcosian vanished when she stepped forward to attack. Her gaze drifted to the side, as she caught trails of dust and slight blurs which were the tell-tale signs the Arcosian was planning something. The woman hopped in the air as the Arcosian reappeared and cut low with his blade. The woman’s gaze remained on the blade; though weaker than her, it was still capable of cutting the woman. And she hated the thought of bleeding for a simple spar. A sudden blur shifted and the blade vanished from her sight. Wha-!? As her gaze drifted back towards the Arcosian, his heel caught her in the chin. Though not enough to break bones, the attack was perfectly aligned to throw off the woman’s center of balance; whether this had been the Changeling Lord’s plan or just simple luck, the woman didn’t know. His kick had been aided through the use of flight, which the blue man used to dart past the woman’s staggered body. As she arced through the air, the Arcosian thrust his blade down towards her stomach. Though she couldn’t move most of her body, the woman could still attack. “Eat this, cocky.” Tulip’s elbow shot out, slamming into the stomach of the Arcosian. Though not her strongest or best positioned attack, his glee and bloodlust after nailing the hybrid with one good shot would doubtless aid her attack in landing. His blade still reached its mark, cutting through her jacket and slicing into her stomach. A shallow wound, but proof that the Arcosian could still harm the hybrid. His slash was probably intended to cut through her stomach completely; the force behind it sent the woman into the earth hard enough to send up a cloud of dust. As the dust cleared, the woman pulled off the torn jacket, throwing it to one side. Her white tank-top was slowly staining itself red from her injury, as the woman touched the wound gingerly. It wasn’t severe; she would live with a few bandages and some quality R&R back at the village. But, something else was kindled from this move. Something stirred deep within, as the woman took a slow, steady breath. “No...I’m not going to kill him. Even if he’s trying to kill me...I won’t kill this Arcosian..” Letting her hands drop to her sides, the woman’s gaze went back to the blue alien. Her gaze was cold and distant, emerald eyes boring into his own. Making a gesture with her hand for him to come to her, the woman spoke loudly. “Come on down, Arcosian. Ais laughed as his attack struck home. High on his brief triumph, he didn't expect the elbow from the hybrid to strike him in the stomach. He grunted with pain as the attack took the air from his lungs. He hugged his torso and winced with pain. "Nggh... dammit." The changeling coughed into his hand, a small amount of blood staining his palm. Thankfully, he would get a chance to catch his breath and recover from the attack, as Tulip had chosen to do the same. He watched as a red stain began to spread out over her tank-top. The Arcosian let out a breathless chuckle.
'No matter how powerful your opponent, they are still merely flesh and blood. Thank you, father. I remember now.' Ais cracked his neck casually as Tulip challenged him to come descend so that their fight might continue. Now that he was completely calm, Ais paid attention to her power. It seemed to spike again. It was now much larger than his. Still, she had him outclassed before and he managed to give her a minor injury. All he had to do was survive until she slipped up and capitalize on every opportunity that presented itself. 'Not the most elegant plan i've had...' He looked down at Tulip as he floated in the air. '...but it will work. It must work.'
Ais smirked at his opponent. "Sorry about that. Must have gotten too carried away. But what can I say, I get a little vicious when I get beaten up." He narrowed his eyes at her. "You are quite strong, yes. I daresay if you were facing anyone else of my power, you would win. No contest. But... unfortunately for you, you're facing Lord Ais, son of the great King Kuul. The blood of the greatest Arcosian that has ever lived flows through my veins." He clenched his fist. "That, my friend, is why you don't stand a chance... in... Hell." He spat the last word.
"I'm simply... superior." After that line, he began to descend. "I come from better stock, Earth woman. Nature beats nurture every time. You must know this." He pointed at her with his last sentence. Then he finished his descent, hovering just above the ground fifty feet away from Tulip at her front. "But if you insist on fighting the current, let me prove to you how foolish your endeavor has been." Ais paused for a moment after his villainous monologue came to a close, still pointing right at his opponent. Then, a sinister smirk crossed his lips. "You have solid arms. How solid, I wonder?" At that point, it was clear; Ais had been pointing at her shoulder the entire time!
His smirk grew briefly at the same moment a thin beam of blue energy came out of his finger, making its way towards Tulip's shoulder at insanely fast speeds. At the exact same moment he fired his attack, the Arcosian lunged forward at his full speed, vanishing from view once more. He would reappear above Tulip after his attack struck (or missed) his target, sending a powerful drop kick at her other shoulder, aiming to shatter the bones near the point of impact. If he had been successful so far, he would slash her across the back to send her to the ground.

The young hybrid ignored the stinging pain from her bleeding side, maintaining a steady gaze on the floating alien. His expressions shifted through a variety of moods, pondering something doubtless evil. The man suddenly started speaking, as a smirk crossed his face. Apologizing in a sarcastic manner only irritated the woman, but she took deep breaths to ensure her mood stayed level. His eyes narrowed, as his voice turned into something far sharper. He crossed his arms, as his speech went on. Something about her strength, his heritage, and being the son of some kind of king. He clenched his hand into a fist, voice filling with rage as he spat his final words. “I don’t care about bloodlines, heritage, or even origins. What matters is the person standing here right now.” The woman clenched her hands into fists, as the Arcosian stated he was superior. Tulip’s slowly-forming plan designed from rage pondered which, between shoving that superior down his throat or up his sphincter, was the most impactful option. The Arcosian began his descent, arms coming uncrossed to hang by his sides. Her gaze left his eyes, as he pointed a finger down at her. The woman’s eyes returned to his, waiting for him to fully descend. He paused his descent just above the ground, as his next sentence came out with a level of seriousness she didn’t anticipate. This feels just like that day; something terrible is about to happen. I need to do something; there’s a bad feel to this entire situation The woman’s hands clenched into fists, as she waited for the Arcosian to move. His next comment made her eyes widen in shock. The hybrid tried to raise her hands, her aura, or even just summon the energy to block. A single, gleaming line of blue materialized in the air beside the woman’s head, cracking the air. The hill behind her exploded, as the energy shot into the earth and destroyed it in a flash of blue. Sharp, burning pain ran through the woman’s shoulder, causing blots of black to flash in her vision. The breath was ripped from her lungs, as she tried to gather strength in her arm. The Arcosian was already moving, filling the air to her right, and good, arm. The woman saw his intent, knew exactly what the Lord was trying to do as he dove with both feet towards her shoulder. Kicking her feet out, the woman took the attack intended for her shoulder with the center of her forehead. Her head was snapped back from the impact, as the woman flew backwards, crashing and rolling into the ground forty feet away. Pain...vision blurring...I can’t feel my left arm…I’m going to die... That terrifying thought crossed the woman’s mind, forcing her to draw in a deep breath with a pained cry. Rising to her feet, her aura began slowly rising. Blood ran from the cut in her forehead from the impact, running in a trail beside her nose to drip across her lips. A new expression was written on her face; under the pain, the blood, and the dirt, her emerald eyes were devoid of the light from before. “Ais...I’m giving you three seconds to run from this place. Three seconds to flee as far as you can. I’m trying to reign in my emotions and body, to not label you as something dangerous...but if I fail…” The woman’s eyes closed, as she licked the blood from her lips. They reopened, as a bitter smile crossed her lips. Her gaze was filled with agony, not from her injury but the issue at hand. It returned to the Frost Demon, as the woman whispered. “So...is what they say about Arcosians true? That they’re actually demons from the Planet Frost?” Her tone was soft, as she began walking forward. Her left arm hung limp by her side, as her right relaxed its guard. She was relaxed, trying to hold a conversation with the Arcosian for the first time since the battle had started. But, even through the gentle smile and happy gaze, her aura was swelling even further. It was swirling ominously around the woman, as she walked towards the Arcosian.
