Soaring through the green sky, the woman tried to ignore the strange feeling of her new, black outfit. She halted in the sky, hovering thousands of feet in the air.
Okay, I’m really lost this time. The last building and life I saw was the ruined building next to the huge, green ocean. And that was a weird reptile. Relax, there’s a way out of this. Closing her eyes, the woman narrowed her focus and quenched her own power. She opened her mind’s eye, trying to perceive any strength that would indicate a living, breathing person. Her gaze swept outwards, until it landed on a gathering of small flames. Within that gathering, to one side, was a slightly larger flame. It seemed dampened, as if someone was intentionally lowering their aura. Angling her body towards the auras, the woman opened her eyes. Her emerald gaze narrowed, as a small smirk crossed her face. Bingo.
Maintaining her lowered power level, the woman shot forward, quickly closing the distance between herself and the life she’d detected.
The woman halted hundreds of feet over the small village. Her gaze was on the dwelling separated from the rest. It was where the strongest flame resided; doubtless a leader of sorts. The young hybrid sighed and began descending slowly, trying not to scare any of the individuals outside. Her helmet was still tucked under one arm, black surface reflecting Namek’s bright sun.
When she was a dozen feet from the ground, Tulip released her ki and landed on the ground in a kneeling position. Rising to her full, five-foot height, the young woman strolled to the huge doorway to the strange structure. Pausing in the opening, she looked around inside before taking a deep breath.
“Hello! I’m a traveler here, name’s Tulip! I was wondering if I could speak to someone knowledgeable!” After shouting, the woman paused and stepped back. If someone attacked, the woman would do her best to weather the storm without striking back. She wasn’t here for a fight; someone from here would hopefully end the feud before it got out of hand. Tulip waited in silence, patiently counting the seconds till someone made an appearance.
