Before the big NOPE stickers get slammed down, this isn't a suggestion for "pay to win" with PL being bought with Zeni... well, not in that way. My thought is something along the lines of senzu beans, except for PL increase, albeit temporarily. Sort of like a Steroid Booster Shot or something, akin to a (heavily nerfed) version of the (Ma)Kaioken techniques. So, there's two ways this line of thinking could go I think if it were to be considered for implementation. First, the Pill could boost your PL by a fixed amount, i.e. a 20k PL Boost or something. So if you were at 30k PL, you pop this pill, and then for one post you'd be at 50k PL. The other route would be that it gives your current transformation a value boost, so say you're in a (x16) Transformation, you pop this Pill, and your Transformation becomes a (x17) or (x18) etc etc etc for a single post. Of course, the other downside besides the one post duration for this, would be that it reduces any PL gains you receive by... well, an inverse of the Weighted Gear maybe? So we've got Weighted Gear that increases your PL gains whilst their worn by 25%, 50%, 75% right? So the Pills could go the same sort of value route, with them reducing your PL gains by 25%, 50%, 75% depending on which version of the Pill you popped. Thoughts? Ideas? Feelings?

Feels kinda strange, honestly. PL boosts are much different from how the two Ultimates work, and modifier boosters are a bit hard to put an exact price tag on unless the price was unreasonably large.
The long and short of it is that it'd have to be costed at a massive price to be fair, and then it'd be worthless because the time it'd take you to get the Zeni to buy it could have been spent getting to that new PL permanently, rather than for one post.
It's gonna be a hard no from me, dawg.

Interesting idea, but I'd have to agree with bing. It doesn't really fit into the current balance very well.

Kind of torn about this, to be honest.
The first idea would be fine in the grand scheme of things... if there wasn't multipliers on the site. You may have a slight increase in power level by about 20k-30k, and that would be somewhat fine at baseline. But when you take into consideration multipliers, like a x8 demon king or x14 super saiyan, that number quickly fluctuates: 160-240k extra PL for a demon, and 280-420k for a super saiyan.
The second idea exasperates this even further. Using the same figures, a demon king would gain an extra 70-140k power. The difference is that this would scale with a player's base PL as opposed to scaling with a player's multiplier like the first idea would.
Even with drawbacks, there would be barely any downside to just spending zenni on these things. Not only that, but it would be another "gear check" for characters who want to participate and have serious contention inside DEs, adding onto senzu beans. Also, it would create an even bigger power gap than what already exists between the low players and the top end players.
For me, I would have to say no to this. I think it places too much power in the hands of the already powerful when it's not needed, and also in the hands of those who are able to make zenni outside of roleplaying i.e. commission work.
