Caretaking the laboratory of my homicidally insane colleague is now on the list of things I don't want to do... Cel'Daren sighed to himself as he slowly floated away from the entrance of a secret laboratory hidden deep in the Gizard Wasteland. A perfect place to put a Lab if you were looking for privacy, but Cel'Daren was honestly sick of coming out to this empty wasteland just to make sure that all of Dr Breech's machinery and projects were continuing to run smoothly. On the upside; Cel'Daren had plenty of opportunities to tinker with robotic designs in the safety of a simulation program, letting him brush up on his coding abilities. He wasn't at the level of creating new programming from the ground up for a robot's AI, but he was starting to get the hang of altering existing coding and then debugging it.
The massive downside? Breech's security was intense, and limited to basic biometric identification methods. When Katsu became Cel'Daren his biometrics had changed drastically, and the security system was having none of his claims of being Katsu. While Cel'Daren could have just walked through the security with his powers, he'd have busted up a fair amount of the Lab in the process, so he'd had to go through an entire process where he proved his identity with certain bits of knowledge that only Katsu had known, all the while avoiding the gunfire of turrets and Cycloids. It was an exhausting afternoon spent wrestling with a stubborn AI system and then tidying up an entire laboratory, and Cel'Daren was ready to just throw in the towel and take a long long nap.
It seemed however that today was going to be one of those days that make one regret leaving their own home. The noise of the hovercar engine that Cel'Daren was piloting shifted up three octaves and changed pitch to a keening noise, not unlike a dying rabbit screaming. The sound of the warning systems alerted Cel'Daren to the very obvious fact that the vehicle had somehow sustained critical damage and the safety systems were going to land the hovercar immediately. A quick press of the Capsulize button did nothing, another error showing that the function had been damaged as well. Sighing a bit, Cel'Daren let go of the steering device and let the vehicle begin the automated landing process, leaving the vehicle altogether by way of his own flight ability. Arms folded over his chest as he watched his hovercar descend he thought of what to do.
Cel'Daren COULD just leave the vehicle and have it towed later, but that'd be money wasted on something trivial rather than his various research projects! He could pick the entire thing up and take it home, but frankly he was too tired for that after dealing with Breech's security. Using his telekinesis to fix the problem was right out, as Cel'Daren knew his current limits with fixing technology and this was the newest model hovercar just released; he wasn't going to be capable of fixing it himself alone. A hand came up and opened the HUD of his Scouter Contact Lenses, and combined with his Ki Sense Cel'Daren scanned the area for any Ki signatures. There wasn't much out in the wasteland, but eventually he locked onto a Ki signature that was just over the horizon. It seemed human enough, and his Scouter wasn't detecting any mechanical Ki of note, maybe something along the lines of a home generator, but nothing combat worthy.
”Well, at least it's someone to talk to. Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll be a mechanic...or a half-mad hermit filled with terrible secrets I can learn...” Cel'Daren chuckled to himself as he began to fly towards the ki signature, soon finding what appeared to be someone's home in the distance...

(Thread PL: 188,195) (Current: 5,000) Word came to Pieter after his last visit to the city that, apparently, Vi-Poi had chosen to hop off the planet to Vegeta for some matter. Bing, Maeve, and others had followed suit, from what his senses told him. Their energies became violent for some reason, towards each other and those that were in that direction that he could sense! Yet, the hunter had grown distant to them, namely due to how they'd became friendly to Zucceta and Vi-Poi, both of whom the three fought together against! At this point, Pieter honestly couldn't care much about what they did. The Hunter was finding himself waiting at home in the Gizard Wastelands, waiting on the money to come in and the clearing to officially start his business and his school. He had been relaxing by the chimney fire, his eyes glazing over in his boredom just waiting for this approval to be made! They told him that he'd be having to wait of about a month long, maximum, to get approval for what he wants to do! He even got himself a name for his Hunting business, which he called, 'The Sleeping Harborage.' The name was part of why it was taking so long, as they were making sure the name was copyrighted by someone, somewhere in the galaxy. "... Alright," he stated aloud, lifting his hands up briefly before firmly patting them on his knees, "I need to do something!"As he said that, he could feel someone's energy approaching his location. It was small, capable of being mistaken of one of the many big beasts in the area. It was heading one direction and would've left him be, but the way it turned told him otherwise: Someone had once again stumbled upon Pieter's abode! It, for once, put a smile on his face, the hunter getting up from his brown, 'pleather' sofa chair with an old school wooden handle to kick the legs up and have the seater lean back to practically lie down. Pieter turned this big chair to the front door, about twenty to twenty five feet away from the front door before going over to said front door and inputting a command to unlock the door on a panel located to his right hand side before going back to his seat to stare at the door and see if this presence was actually coming towards him or just happened to turn by. "Come on... Show me you're actually coming this way," the hunter thought, "I'm way too bored for my own good!"( Grail Brisk here's your response.)

The approaching home didn't seem to be anything too out of the ordinary, except perhaps for its actual location in the middle of a wasteland, but Cel'Daren wasn't going to fault anyone for that. His own house was in the middle of a forested mountain region known to contain great big fuck-off dinosaurs, so, you know, no room to judge. Regardless, Cel'Daren would let his feet touch the ground about fifty meters from the front door, a smile on his face and his hands in his labcoat pockets. The likelihood of Cel'Daren getting a minigun aimed at him was a lot lower than it was earlier that day, and the Ki he felt from the one occupant he could sense in the home wasn't bad. Five thousand units was nothing to scoff, especially when it was so even. Only Androids got that perfectly even number without suppressing themselves, and this was obviously an organic Earthling. Perhaps it really was some half-mad desert prophet?
Walking the last fifty meters to be polite, Cel'Daren gave a telekinetic series of knocks against the door, having his strikes sound like “Bing-a-ling-a-Bing-Bong!” for no particular reason except to be amiable, and maybe because he was bored being stuck in Gizard.
Hopefully the door would be opened, and Cel'Daren would give a prompt greeting, raising his right hand into his usual half-salute-half-wave gesture and grinning crookedly as he spoke, ”Yo. My name's Cel'Daren Mithanil. My Hovercar broke down so bad it won't even capsulize, and I bring snacks and alcohol; any chance you're a half-mad prophet who can tell me terrible secrets of the truth behind the world?”

There were knocks at the door, of which Pieter didn't respond to. The door opened, his smile fading as a strange fellow walking into his abode, a grin that was crooked apparent on his face. The first thing the man spoke was about being unable to capsulize his hovercar, offering alcohol and food for the sake of trying hear some mad secrets or something..? Pieter's expression became confused, leaning in with mouth barely agape and eyes blinking. "Am I," Pieter spoke, a questioning tone coming out of his mouth as he looked at the white haired man! He questioned, openly, "What the hell kinda crap you been into that makes you- Who the hell are you?"(This was best kept short! Grail Brisk)

The crooked grin grew wider for a moment before Cel'Daren suppressed it to speak in a more normal tone than before, a small hint of insanity still edging his voice,”Ah, right. Clarity required? Indeed. I am, as I said, Cel'Daren Mithanil. I'm a Bio-Engineer working for the BBA Science Division and also as a sort of exclusive Mercenary for them. I perform tactical missions for them; they pay me in research funding to further my work.” Hand motions accompanied his words, with Cel'Daren accentuating his comments by first picking at the cuff of his labcoat to bring attention to it, then forming hands into the shape used to hold a rifle, shaking them back and forth to signify gunfire, and finally his left hand rubbed thumb against pointer and middle finger, the signal for money.
Cel'Daren placed his hands behind his back, locked into the “at-ease” as the grin, not so crooked this time, edged back onto his face, ”So! I was returning from a place I'm not allowed to discuss beyond what I've just said, and the Hovercar I was using apparently suffered some damage to a critical part. The auto-pilot immediately landed the vehicle for safety purposes, and I found that I couldn't even capsulize the device as normal. Apparently whatever damage the vehicle sustained extended to that system as well. Not too sure really, I'm not too great with Robotics OR Mechanics. Build you a new heart in the time it takes you to bleed out from having a hole in your old one? Sure. Fix whatever is wrong with my automated breakfast making suite? Nope!” Cel'Daren chuckled a bit at the last of that.
”I was offering some food and drink in an effort to hopefully gain your assistance, and if you aren't a mechanic I was hoping you were at least some half-mad hermit living out in the middle of Gizard Wasteland because you had something of interest for me to learn. I like learning, just about anything too. So. Clarity Achieved?” Cel'Daren tilted his head to the side, looking at Pieter curiously while still smiling a bit, the angle of his head making him look mentally unstable.

"The BBA," Pieter questioned, as the man who went to name himself Cel'Daren Mithanil wet on to explain that his hovercar had apparently been damaged, as he just said. He a Biological Engineer, not a mechanic, and his focus on stating that the vehicle couldn't capsulize. Somehow they damaged that part and couldn't get in contact with his people for assistance. After that, he stated that question about being half-mad or a mechanic. Pieter pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Alright, so you're saying you're a guy who's part of the BBA, who damaged his vehicle and cannot get it moving... Or capsulized..."
Pieter looked up, to the twitchy man waiting for his reply. There was a small number of things he didn't wanna deal with and this was becoming one of them! Sure, he was looking for something to do, but dealing with a lunatic was one of those things he didn't wanna deal with!
"Can you show me the vehicle," Pieter asked, deciding to roll with it, and elaborating to Cel'Daren, "I just had a workshop installed so there may be something I can do."

It seemed that Cel'Daren had just needed to explain his actions a bit more thoroughly in order for the desert-swelling human to understand his current plight, although Cel'Daren could tell that the man obviously thought him insane judging by the way that he was acting towards him now. It was the look of someone who was dealing with something they didn't want to, like a student hearing of a homework assignment or a parent hearing the cry of their infant they had just put to bed minutes ago. No matter, the man had decided to lend his aid to Cel'Daren none the less, and that was what Cel'Daren was looking for.
Taking a few steps outside of Pieter's home Cel'Daren would hop up into the air, turning to look at Pieter as he spoke, ”Much Appreciated. Now. You're obviously a Ki user, right? Exactly five-thousand units of power, according to my scouter. So you're stronger and you're suppressed, so you probably have access to Ki Sense because why else would you be aware of a need to hide your Ki unless you knew how to sense it? So, you should have no problem following my Ki signature when I do...this..”
Cel'Daren would make a twisting motion in the air with his left hand, as if turning an oversized key in a lock. The sense of worldly balance would shift slightly, with Pieter feeling as if the direction of “down” had changed for a few moments before righting itself. For a moment Cel'Daren would smile a bit louder, and then suddenly his form would vanish. Not fade, explode, implode, or pop out of existence, but as if he started moving in a strange direction that didn't work with three dimensions, his body proportions becoming heavily distorted a micro-second before he was gone. Pieter would then be able to note that Cel'Daren's Ki was now over fifty kilometers away, just over the horizon, and staying put.
It was obviously a teleportation ability, but it was much different than some people used. While Walker and some of the more mystical people bored a hole straight through dimensional barrier, this was much different. Cel'Daren hadn't crossed any dimensional barrier or used magic to bend a natural law to allow his strange movement, he had merely shifted and distorted space through the application of gravitational forces, bending it so much that his own location in space was a micrometer away from wherever he had just traveled to, and he had simply taken a tiny shift of movement to reach his destination. Cel'Daren truly wished Pieter good luck in being able to figure that all out on his own however, as the way in which the technique was performed left behind very little that could be sensed if one didn't have the ability to manipulate gravitational forces themselves.
Now, Pieter was probably going to wonder why Cel'Daren didn't just utilize an ability like that in order to do...any number of things, really. There were, however, limitations to the ability, based mostly on how much skill Cel'Daren himself had with it. It was a relatively new skill, and transporting anything more than what could fit in his clothes wasn't going to work. If he could have gotten the car to capsulize he wouldn't have needed to ask Pieter for help. Sitting down in the driver seat of his vehicle Cel'Daren began to pull up diagnostic routines, setting the onboard computer to work figuring out exactly what the problem was. It seemed like information that Pieter might need to fix the device, after all.
As long as Pieter didn't fly after Cel'Daren at his top speed he'd get there after the computer had finished its work and Cel'Daren had uploaded the data onto a handheld datapad, which would be immediately handed over to Pieter. Said data, if Pieter could understand it, would show the type of damage the car had sustained, what parts it affected, basic measures to fix the problem, etc etc. It seemed that someone had put something in the fuel tank before Cel'Daren had taken off, and this substance had caused an explosive reaction in the engine when it reached a certain cycle-speed, resulting in many parts of the engine becoming fused together from the heat. Which was really impressive, given the durability of modern alloys. It was certainly a high-tech way to knock out a car. The explosion had also damaged a data connector that the capsulization device used to tell the specs of the hovercar so it could be properly capsulized without danger of damaging the car when done. The capsulization device itself was in working order, and if an override was initiated the vehicle would be able to successfully capsulized.
Assuming that Pieter had followed the madman, Cel'Daren would hum along with a tune he had pulled up on his Scouter-lenses, the music quietly filling the air.

Pieter walked outside his house with Cel'Daren, seeing the man now using his energy to levitate. Many analyzed statements were made by the eccentric man, before he suddenly twisted his hand in the air and his body was sucked into the air before Pieter's eyes! The man's presence appeared far away, while his presence here vanish instantaneously. The hunter's eyes closed almost all the way, lips becoming flat as he sauntered over to the shed. "Guy just decides to jump all the way out to the middle of no where, using some really weird technique," Pieter thought, mulling through what he just witnessed as he grab a grey toolbox and several old-school, but slick looking torque wrenches, a screw driver with a compartment for holding spare screws, and other items he figured would be helpful. He laid his hands on the wooden workbench, stating aloud very sarcastically, "This doesn't sound like a fight waiting to happen at all! Nope!"Pieter walked back to his front door and leaned on the side of it. He wasn't going to him. Pieter was going to have him come here from the vehicle, from all the wau he was at! ( Grail Brisk, pieter ain't having your crazy stuff! You bring that vehicle to him! Lol.)

As the minutes began to tick by Cel'Daren slowly stopped humming along to the music he was listening, his head tilted to the side as he realized eventually that Pieter wasn't coming out to meet him. Looking around the area as if the answer why was going to spring out of the ground at him Cel'Daren eventually started to wonder if perhaps he was having some sort of fever dream. ”Have I been just sitting in my hovercar the entire time? Did I ever meet that man in his home, or was he never there to begin with...?
“Oh no, wait, Scouter still says he's just sitting there at his house.” Cel'Daren checked the HUD of his Scouter to find that Pieter wasn't just a figment of his imagination, or if he was he was a rather persistent one. Sighing Cel'Daren waited for a few minutes more, thinking that there might perhaps be something that Pieter was preparing before he came out to assist him with. Those minutes were spent watching the Scouter to see if the man was moving even a little towards him, and eventually Cel'Daren gave it up.
”Well; this isn't ideal. Either he can't sense my Ki signature or he's wanting me to bring the car to him...” a long, drawn out sigh and a look of annoyance crossed Cel'Daren's face, ”...and I was specifically trying to avoid doing any sort of heavy lifting. Fine. He wants the car over there; the car is going over there. If it explodes I'll just spend the money at this point!” Cel'Daren said with a hint of a grin in his voice, rolling up the sleeves of his lab coat. He moved around to the front of the vehicle, rubbing his hands together and popping the joints of his knuckles and neck before he bent forward, his hands grasping hold of the front bumper.
Cel'Daren's energy burst forth, his suppressed powerlevel of seven-fifty grew to just over fifteen-thousand units instead, twenty times as strong, and certainly a big enough difference for anyone with Ki Sense to notice the change immediately. His fingers gripped the vehicle's bumper tightly as Cel'Daren concentrated, his telekinetic ability taking hold of the entire vehicle and he lifted it high up into the air over his head, for a small moment almost taking flight with the vehicle before he checked his telekinetic lift with a quick, ”Wo-woaah..” With the vehicle now off the ground Cel'Daren focused his senses, coordinating how much strength he was going to need to use as well as how much room for error he would have. Grinning ever wider Cel'Daren finally turned himself to face the direction that Pieter's home was in, using his Ki signature as a beacon.
The vehicle was hefted once as Cel'Daren prepped himself, and then, with an almighty lurch he flung the hovercar high into the air with incredible speed, directly towards Pieter's home. Oh yes, he was going to throw his car over fifty kilometers at Pieter! Of course the first Pieter would know of it was when he saw the car sailing through the air over a hundred meters off of the ground, moving incredibly quickly and not at all looking in control of its movement.
Of course, it wasn't like Cel'Daren was going to let his vehicle smash into someone's house, right?
….Right....?
Right. Cel'Daren would have been, just after throwing his vehicle, concentrating on creating another wormhole to move back to where he had launched his car, and only when the vehicle was getting worryingly close to Pieter's home, and the man might be thinking they'd have to stop it before it hit their house, Cel'Daren would step out of the air directly into the path of the vehicle and raise his hand at it, the vehicle stopping dead in the air before slowly coming to a halt on the ground right side up.
Once that was done Cel'Daren would hand over the data his diagnostics scan had revealed to Pieter, ”Okay. The car is here; here's the diagnostics. Any chance you can fix it? Even just capsulizing it would be great!” Still that crooked, almost manic, grin as he spoke to Pieter.

During his wait for the man, Pieter had walked inside, to get himself his personally made smoking pipe and tobacco to go inside. He dangled it from his lips, lightly hitting the tobacco woth his energy through his finger, igniting the fibers. A couple of puffs into this small hit and Pieter's senses tingled, directing him to the direction of the strange man. It at least hit about maybe a little below a tenth his strength! It was grandly large, but it was noticeable enough. Pieter's attention became fixed on the direction, as he contimued his smoke. A black speck appeared in the blue sky, seeming to be moving over to his direction. Pieter wrapped his fingers aroumd the pipe, looking up at the quickly approaching speck. It turned out to be a vehicle of some sort! It got Pieter to stand up, the pipe in hand. It got dangerously close, and Pieter would have sprung to kick the craft down onto the ground, had the crazed individual not reappear and stop it with what Pieter assuumed was his energy! The hunter put the pipe in mouth again, walking to the front of the vehicle and stating, "Next time, you shouldn't go vanishing and be expecting for me to be able to follow the way ya did!"Pieter huffed out a cloud and pointed at the hood of the vehicle with the pipe, requesting, "With any luck, we can this thing up and running enough for you to get to one the towns about 60 kilometers south of here that are connected to the Western Capital. Pop that open so we can see the damage."( Grail Brisk nooooope. :v)

When Pieter expressed his annoyance at Cel'Daren using his Wormhole ability, the bio-engineer could only grin wider, a little proud of his technique. Utilizing gravitational forces like he did was a very difficult and tricky bit of work; definitely not suited for someone who just liked to hit things. It was an ability only a Ki Specialist could ever hope to learn on their own. That or special kind of engineer or magic user.... point was, it was a pretty special ability, and Cel'Daren was a happy fish for having learned how to do it, okay?
Speaking of fish... Cel'Daren began to dig in his pockets for his capsule pack, eventually fishing it out of his right hand pants pocket and opening it up. He pulled free the fridge capsule and gave it a click before tossing it over a free space, the unique sound of a capsule expanding filled the air. The fridge was a rather expansive unit with a lot of space. Humming a bit Cel'Daren would open it up and pull out a tuna and miracle whip mixture as well as a bread loaf. Sandwich would soon be made which he'd nibble at periodically as he turned his attention back to Pieter, "I've got lots of meat, fresh vegetables, fruit, a bottle of Everclear....think I use it for cleaning things with fire, actually...and some N.C. Red Wine 175. Help yourself."
Cel'Daren was not one to go back on his word; if only because people were so much more easy to deal with if they assumed that you would hold onto any bargain made. Dishonest people made so much more work for themselves when they betrayed a deal they'd made. Nibbling a bit more on his sandwich he'd float over Pieter's head as he checked out the vehicle, "So...who are you and why do you live out here? Alone. In the middle of a Wasteland far far away from most people. Only sort of people I hear doing that are either madmen or people who have some sort of special ability or power that's dangerous. Which are you? Madman or Miracle-worker? Nyom~ Tuna~"

Pieter pinched the bridge of his nose, after standing there a few minutes and seeing that Cel'Daren wasn't opening the hood. He muttered, "Alright, I'll do this myself..!"The hunter reached in through the driver side window and unlocked the door before opening it. He looked around for the switch to pop the hood and opened it up. Meanwhile, the guy was bringing out a bunch of food and wine, as if he were to woo Pieter into a false sense of security. Upon popping it up, he made his way over and put it fully up, using a simple rod that was inside to hold it up. "Ok... I may not be good at what I do, but I can least get the basic stuff outta the way," Pieter stated aloud. Before he could start, though, the shadow of the man got in the way of the sunlight, preventing him from seeing all of the damage. He frowned, his eyes scanning as he was questioned why he was living out here. The man was trying to guess what Pieter was: either madman or powerful individual. He took another puff from his pipe, standing straight to look at the floating man and stated, "That's a matter of ideology. Also, this will also soon be a place where people can go get a job for hunting and various sorta jobs involving physical labor. In regards to that question, just consider me a man who's trying to live a life peacefully, away from the drama of civilization for a bit longer... Now can you move so I can what other damage you've done to this vehicle, considering you just willy nilly hurled it from that long distance you were at, away from this hood a bit with that food?"( Grail Brisk)
