Heavy Weights On , Pl Please
A man who knows all because of the occupation he occupies. This man is a simple man and is known as a bartender. Hearing the rumors of the world come and go, yet one tale he won't ever forget and will spread to all who enter. The mine is what they call it, though what purpose does that title serve? Jack is known as the charmer and well beloved individual that the locals have grown to love, which is why his business is blooming.
Jack sported a black vest, white elbow cuffed sleeve shirt, a gold watch on his left wrist, dressed black pants, and black dressed boots. His black hair slicked back, his facial features appearing in his late 20s yet his actual age is in the 40s. Jack welcomed all, new and old to his establishment.
The scenery around this establishment was quite the look, in the middle of nowhere. However, never judge a book by its cover is what Jack always says. The outside may appear to be old and western type look, but the inside was a dream come true. The Furniture sparkled, well polished and being made out of black maple wood. The floors also sported this look except with a light brown wood color. The guest all appearing to look like locals and sporting a dressed shirt and pants. Though the few visitors who wore an entirely different set of outfits were definitely common. The double doors opened up in the front entrance of the bar, a man wearing a black robe and a straw hat entered. Yurei looking around the room upon entering, seeing patrons all sitting and enjoying their meals.
The patrons didn't directly stare at Yurei, however upon him walking down the aisle to meet the bartender at the opposite end, they casually shifted their eyes at him. The thoughts in their heads whether he was a friend or foe. Yurei pulling up a chair with his left, while casually stepping on the support of the chair to raise his body up in order to sit down. Folding his hands together in unison and covering the bottom portion of his face, he looked to the bartender named Jack who approached him.
“Welcome New Friend, How may I assist you today?”
Yurei looking at the menu in front of him and without turning the next page, he looked backed at Jack.
“Whisky on ice, with a lime..”
Jack smiled from cheek to cheek as he kindly took the menu from Yurei and prepared his drink.
“Coming right up sir! If I may ask friend, what do you seek on this planet? Power, Money, Fame?”
The answer isn't what intrigued Jack, it was only used as a promotion for the next question to be laid out. Yurei had pondered the thought, never really asked a question like that before as he placed his right hand to his chin.
“I guess power is what I seek..”
Jack finishing up Yurei’s drink and handing it to him. Yurei grabbing it and taking a sip as he looked to Jack.
“I see, power huh? Have you ever heard of the legend of the mine?”
Yurei’s eyes fixed to him in curiosity as he placed his drink down.
“Legend of a mine? What so legendary about a mine?”
Jack chuckled as he placed his left hand to his stomach and closed his eyes in the process. The chuckle was over and he hunched over to Yurei and being adjacent to him.
“The legend of the mine holds a powerful warrior and a well crafted maze.. the story goes, those who seek out this fighter and defeat him and the maze, will be granted anything they so desire.. so far no one has been able to do the task..”
Yurei became curious and finished his drink within seconds.
“Where can I find this mine?”
Jack pulling out a napkin and drawing a map to where it is.
“You see, on this map you are here.. you will want to go a mile north and then two miles west.. and there it is..”
Yurei taking the napkin and placing it in his robe. He then rises to his feet and looking to Jack.
“How much do I owe you?”
Jack going from a hunch state to standing in an upright position.
“It's on the house friend. Enjoy your stay.”
Yurei didn't think much of it, on the house he said? A smirk appeared across his face like it was his lucky day. Yurei had now pulled out the map from underneath his robe and followed the map to where the location of this mine was. Traveling through the forest terrain and finally arriving at his destination, he welcomed the entrance with a cocked smile and his head slightly upward. He had folded his arms across his chest and just admired the appearance of the mine.
A giant hill scaling to 20ft in height and 30ft in width. Yellow grass was the appearance of the hill’s hair, and the rough rocky surface was it’s skin. Vines emerging from the inner rocks of the mine and a giant door shape hole is what appeared to be the entrance by the looks of it. Could this be fate or could it be faith? A question Yurei had pondered his entire journey while trying to find this mine. Yurei shrugged it off, after all, a maze and one man. How hard could it be?
Stepping into the darken mine while using a ki blast ball the size of a basketball to lighten up the mine around him. To his shock and amazement, this cave was indeed man made. The design and craftsmanship was clearly not natural. The interior was a sight to definitely admire. 10ft pillars scaled downward as a staircase made of the same material was 20 steps deep. The pillars were also on their own platform and also decreasing in height by every two steps. The stairs indeed looked endless with no light source to guide. Yurei’s free hand had pressed against the side of the wall and to his luck, he felt something that appeared to be a light switch. A quick flick and a bright light emitted in the room. Two light bulbs appeared, then fifty awakened just like that. This couldn't be nature’s work, no, Yurei had felt something sinister in the atmosphere.
Each step Yurei had taken, made a clamp sound and echoed throughout the cave itself, alerting anyone who is within the cave that their is an intruder. Making his way to the final step, he was now twenty feet below surface and looking ahead at two paths. I'm Yurei’s left side, a hallway was narrow and a clear picket sign was next to it, stating the following.
“This side isn't a trap”
Shifting his eyes to his right, he saw a much wider hallway and a picket sign stating the following.
“This side is a trap”
His right hand being placed to his chin, rubbing it with having the mindset of anxiety and intrigued at the same time. Which path would he take? Which sign was dangerous? The more obvious or the one in disguise? Yurei couldn't tell and by using his scouter, he didn't sense anyone’s power level.
The more obvious would seem like the best could of action, after all a trap so obviously wouldn't really be a trap. Would it? Yurei had ventured forward, placing both his hands within his front pants pockets as he got rid of his ki ball from his hand. Walking down the much wider hallway, he saw a dead end straight ahead with a hunched over robot laying against the dead end wall. Stopping just five feet from it, he looked at the robot more intently. Circuits were clearly exposed, indicating that it was indeed in a fight. Oil was surrounding the robot in its own pool and the robot’s left forearm was missing entirely and it’s right forearm was in the shape of a canon.
Upon closer observation, he noticed the robot’s head slightly moving upward as oil fell from the bottom of his lips as he revealed his face. The robot itself was naked and even though it was human shaped, it clearly didn't have anything of a sexual reproductive system at all. The robot stared at Yurei with a malfunction type of tone voice.
“You must be my savior.. I have been trapped here forever my friend..”
Yurei then took noticed on the ground before him, a left forearm of a skeleton was present. After putting much thought into it, Yurei looked to the robot.
“You needed a left forearm to fit the one missing, yet it failed didn't it? Now that you see mine.. I'm clearly your savior right?”
The robot rose to his and aimed his right arm cannon at Yurei.
“You are indeed smarter than the others I have come across.. however you won't be leaving here alive!”
A sword slash going through the right forearm of the robot. While Yurei’s right hand performed the swish, Yurei’s left hand gripped the throat of the robot and slamming his back onto the wall.
“Now what will you do?”
The robot opened its jaw and a beam was taking form. Yurei immediately ducked and slicing off the head of the robot. The robot had fallen and was killed immediately. Yurei took his trip to the next hallway, the more narrow. Upon traveling through it, he arrived into a room with a door at the other end. A table was present made out of wood, with a wooden chair. A tv was also on this table and Yurei took his walk over to the table. Now turning on the tv, he saw a question appear before him.
“Would you pull a lever of a train to kill one person or have nature take it’s course and kill five people.
This clearly was a no brainer situation and he clearly picked pulling the lever and killing one as the best course of action. The door had opened before Yurei on the opposite side, and he took his walk towards it. A voice had echoed through the opened door as a trap door opened up underneath Yurei.
“Since you want to control destiny, I will control yours!”
Riding down a narrow drop and landing to his feet, he notices a giant slimed 500lb monster walking out of it’s cage. Bones and blood was clearly all around the area that they were in, and this monster was made out of waste and smelled like old garbage. The height of this beast was 10ft in height.
What the hell is this thing? Poop?!?! Alive? Yurei’s eyes opened, rubbing it even. Trying to comprehend what the hell he was staring at. The waste beast laughed and spoke in a deep tone of voice.
“You are my 1,356 victim.. and based on your facial expression, you have never seen a creature like me before..”
Yurei’s nose had ignored the stench for a few moments, for the shock factor of staring at poop and having to fight it, clearly made his skin crawl. Yurei had pulled out his sword from his hilt, and held it with a tight grip.
“You are going to die here!”
His samurai type run was clearly as indication that Yurei was indeed a professional with a sword. Upon getting within arm's reach of this beast, he leaped forward and sliced through the monster clean. Now landing behind the monster and in his cage, the monster splitted into two pieces with the top portion hitting the ground. The monster laughed as it regenerated itself quickly and now turning to face Yurei, he launched a wad of feces at Yurei. The impact was not only disgusting but covered Yurei’s body immensely as he landed on the wall of the cage interior. The pain was indeed strong, as he suffered muscle aches from it.
Yurei had panted to himself, struggling to even reveal his hand from the wad of feces. Upon revealing his hand, he began to also exert his power into freeing himself. The loud screams, the wind blowing the wad of feces away. Yurei charging to the monster and slicing the beast in half, in a vertical like motion with his strongest attack. The beast was split into two, as he was now in between the two pieces and took his landing on the ground. The beast exploded and died immediately. Yurei had then ventured towards the center of the arena, looking to a door ahead of him, revealing his freedom from this nightmare.
How big was this maze Yurei had pondered. Who was this big bad wolf that the rumors had spreader and how tough was he? Sure Yurei could deal with someone who is only known to the locals. After passing the door and walking up a spiraling staircase upward to a lever just at the other end of it, Yurei was back in the room with the table, tv, and chair. Back again am I? Yurei had thought as he took his walk back to the door that he was originally suppose to go through. A man had sat there in his office chair, just looking at Yurei entering the room. The room itself had an office desk, and various cameras posted along the entire mine and the monitors behind the man backed it up. The masked man had clapped, and rose from his chair.
A familiar voice Yurei had recognize, Jack himself was the killer.
“Hehe, well well well if it isn't my good ol friend Yurei. It's on the house I said, and now you actually came here to see if the legends were true.. I am the man responsible for killing tourist and visitors alike.. make my massive fortune..”
Yurei had no idea what Jack spoke about, however, after much thinking he knew it was the furniture and the interior of the place.
“I see.. the entire inside of your bar is brand new and I'm pretty sure you have enough money to cover whatever fees you are charged with.. you really are a sick man with a twisted personality..”
Jack continued to laugh and folding his arms across his chest.
“It's the people like you who made me this way.. wanted criminals terrorizing this town.. someone had to step up to take you guys down.. so I made a plan.. and it has worked so far until you showed up.. it's time I get rid of you..”
Jack took his charge straight to Yurei, having Yurei transform to reveal his true power level. Jack was immediately shocked at how high he was in power, and Yurei immediately slicing off Jack’s head in the process of charging at him.
“You will never do this ever again!”
Jack now laid dead, Yurei destroying the entire mine maze with a simple explosion from the outside. Yurei leaving that area and later being arrested by the authorities for his crime.
