(PL: 10091) Jurojin walked out of his house, looking for something to do. He had hoped to get an assignment from King Yemma, but so far hadn't. But, he had an idea. Jurojin planned to go out into Heaven, and look for other people, other Ogres, that he could work with, and would maybe, just maybe, get him more missions. He decided walking was taking too long, for no particular reason, and jumped into the air, soaring high into the sky. The Ogre-Hybrid formed a ramp of ice, and rode it, going towards a somewhat large town in Heaven. As he rode the ramp, he considered the details of his team. Perhaps, he thought, it didn't need to only be Ogres. Although it would be hard for them to capture Ghosts in the ways Ogres could, maybe dead spirits could help. As he thought, he began to lose track of where he was going, making the ramp incredibly steep. So steep, in fact, that he fell off. "WHOAH!" He yelled, as he slammed into the side of a shop. "Ow..." "You alright?" Came a voice. Jurojin looked up, seeing a large, thickly bearded human. "Of course I am!" Jurojin proclaimed, trying to think of an excuse. "I was just, er, testing the morals of the inhabitants of Heaven! And for asking if I was alright, you sir, have passed." "Okay, then," The human chuckled, heading back into his shop. Jurojin quickly got up, brushing himself off. He walked into the center of the town, and formed a stand out of ice, a small platform with a sign above. He quickly chiseled into the sign part, righting "OGRE TEAM SIGN-UPS". He walked around to the back of it. "Come one, come all, your chance to work with a real Ogre! You can track down Ghosts, keeping Heaven safe! A good opportunity! So what are you waiting for! Come sign up!"

Thread PL: 7,634 Jizo walked along the padded grass plains of Heaven, admiring the natural beauty of the large otherworldly planet. It certainly was a paradise, but that doesn't mean it was without it's fair share of trouble. Jizo had been stepping in to cease the actions of trouble makers in Hell for a while now on his own, and had traveled to Heaven to try and put a dent, however small, in the common issue that was Ghosts running rampant.
Walking into the square past a little shop run by a gruff looking human, and admired a cold, icy shape that stood out."Ogre team sign ups?" Jizo pondered, reading the chiseled sign on the ice. He heard as a fellow blue ogre stood atop the frosted structure that bore the sign, shouting out to call attention to the sign ups. "I'll sign up!" Jizo shouted, flexing his fledgling arms in an attempt to show off his strength despite his diminutive stature. "What do I have to do to join the team?"

Jurojin continued to advertise, noticing a small Blue Ogre. He looked like a child, but Ogres were a strange race, and age needed not be a requisite. "Ah! Hello, young lad! Come to make the Afterlife a better place?" The small Ogre asked how to sign up, and Jurojin got excited. Finally, a partner! "Well, it's simple! After we get enough applicants, there will be a small test of aptitude, and then you can join! But first, what is your name?" Jurojin looked around, seeing a small crowd of people having gathered, but none wanting to join. It seemed that this was his first, and so far only applicant, but that was fine with him. He had a partner.

Thread PL: 7,634 Jizo smiled and bowed politely, his hair falling forwards and covering his eyes before pulling himself back up. "Jizo." He introduced himself to the finned blue ogre in the red bandanna and proceeded to sit cross-legged on the ground, prepared to wait patiently for the supposed 'test of aptitude' that was required in order to join. Jizo was pretty strong after all, definitely in a league of his own compared to most other ogre warriors and easily strong enough to wrangle a few rogue ghosts.
He wanted to know what the test itself entailed however. "So, this test. What is it? A fitness test, a fight, a practical challenge?" Jizo focused his energies in order to prepare himself, in any of the three possibilities he'd need to be in his best fighting form for sure.

Jurojin watched as the child sat down, introducing himself as Jizo, and asking what the test would entail. "Ah, no, this test is not so simple as to be one type! It is all of those, blended into one! You will have to fight me, while lifting weights, as I ask you questions about the proper procedure! You win if you can hit me once, and you lose if you drop a weight or answer a question wrong! I will not be fighting back against you, so there is no danger for you," Jurojin explained, making rapid, bold hand motions along with his words to indicate what the test entailed. "Of course, that is not all! If you succeed in the first test, we will go on a test mission, to take out some disorderly spirits, and if you succeed in that, you will join the Ogre Squad!" Jurojin was getting excited now, running through his head the questions he would ask Jizo. Perhaps, "Where do you take a Ghost?", or maybe "Who is the leader of the Ogres?". They were simple, but Jurojin formulated several more, with the hopes that they would prove the child's aptitude.

Thread PL: 7,634 Jizo's eyes sparked with excitement as Jurojin explained the test and all it entailed. "I only have to hit you once?" He scoffed in jest, a sliver of confidence leaking through his teeth and revealing a grin. "Sounds easy." While the confidence was shown on his face, the truth was that whilst the physical side of the task didn't seem to be too much of a problem for Jizo, the mental side of the test would be challenging.
Jizo hadn't really studied up on the proper procedure of being a member of a squad in heaven, or where he was supposed to take captured ghosts or any of that information. Jizo's vertical ineptitude left something to be desired, and the suspicion that this finned blue ogre believed that Jizo was a child was slowly growing. Something about his tone or the way he looked at Jizo implied it, and he felt the need to reassure the man that he was in fact, of age. "Also, not that it matters all that much, but I am eighteen." He clunked his fist into his chest, his thumb extended to point at himself and a smile of pride at his adult status stretching his mouth almost from ear-to-ear with eyes closed.

In the distance, a Red Ogre was listening, as Jurojin explained the test. He was still trying to get recruits when she stepped up, beginning to speak, "I'll join," she said, crossing her arms across her chest. "Ah, another recruit! Welcome, welcome. So, you too, want to pave the way for a better Hereafter?" "I just wanna kill ghosts. That enough?" She spoke bluntly, as though it was obvious why she wanted to join, and Jurojin was asking a pointless question. "Uh, yes, I suppose so," Jurojin answered, a bit confused by her rude attitude. "Now, what is your name?" he asked, regaining his bold, announcer voice. "Aizen," she replied, making it clear that she wouldn't tell what her last name was. Aware now that this was likely all he would get in the way of members, Jurojin spoke again, loudly. "Ogre Team sign-ups closed! Let's go!" he began to walk down the street as he talked, leading the recruits to his house for the test.

Thread PL: 7,634 Finally another person decided to approach and sign up for the Ogre Squad, a woman named Aizen who from what she said seemed to only be interested in killing ghosts, rather than the intended ideal of wanting to make the afterlife a safer place for the souls who roam within. Jizo hoisted his weight - or rather, lack thereof - off of the ground and followed after the Red Ogre lady and the finned Blue Ogre down the busy street.
"So..." Jizo spoke to Jurojin, stepping ahead of the Red Ogre and facing him as the words escaped his mouth. "Where are we going for the test?" His curiosity lead into his confusion as to why he hadn't actually been told where the test would be held yet. "Is there like an official Ogre Team tryout field somewhere around here, or?" Presumably something of this nature would be officially sanctioned, right?

Jurojin listened as Jizo asked whether this was officially sanctioned, and whether they had an official field for tryouts. "Er... no, not exactly..." Jurojin admitted, sheepishly scratching the back of his head. "But!" he said, regaining his composure. "I am most certainly an official Ogre worker, who takes orders directly from King Yemma!" Jurojin thought to himself, wondering if that counted as a lie. While yes, he didn't directly meet with Yemma and get his orders, Yemma was, presumably, the one who gave them to the people that told Jurojin of them, so he was technically not lying. "Are you fucking kidding me?!" Aizen growled, walking back up next to Jurojin. "Why did I even sign up for this? I might as well just keep fighting Ghosts on my own." "N...Nonononono!" Jurojin nearly yelled as she began walking away. "Trust me, if you stay with us, you will, erm, kill lots of Ghosts! More than on your own!" "You better be right, or I swear to Kai, I will fucking kill you myself." "Oh, yes, yes, I'm right, trust me." As they talked, they continued walking, and soon arrived at Jurojin's house. It was small, like a hut, but behind it was a large field, which had a large box painted on it. The field was clearly mowed by an amateur, many large stalks sticking up. On the side of the box was a table, on which several small dumbbells sat, each one marked with a "100 KG" on the side. "Alright," Jurojin yelled, walking into the middle of the field and charging up his ki. "Pick up 2 weights, start lifting them, and try to attack!"
(OOC: I'd like to make this a non-mechanical fight. That okay with you?)

Thread PL: 7,634 Jizo watched the aggressive reaction of Aizen as it was revealed that they didn't have any training ground, nor was this formation of a team officially sanctioned by King Yemma. Hearing that Jurojin worked directly for King Yemma though lifted Jizo's spirits; after all his signature technique had been based on the mythical, the legendary 'Yemma Lock' itself! He kept a watchful eye on Aizen though, the Red Ogre was certainly a testament to the stereotypical brawny nature of her side of the color spectrum.
Arriving at Jurojin's house Jizo was a little disappointed. For someone working directly for the legendary King Yemma Jurojin sure had a small house. The small blue-faced figure stared aghast at the terrible level of maintenance that the training yard out the back of Jurojin's house had. There were lengthy blades protruding from the grass all over, and the box that presumably indicated the training area had wobbly and messy lines. Letting out a sigh he followed Jurojin's instructions and picked up two of the 100 KG weights.
His energy jumped, fluctuating very mildly like the flickering of a large flame as he moved into a battle-ready position, only minorly hindered by the weight in his hands. Leaping forwards, he dashed at his highest speed directly toward the finned ogre. "HYAH!" With a violent jerk of his muscles Jizo flung his leg directly up, choosing to lead with a kick as it would be difficult to attack whilst his arms were busy performing the lifting motions with the underwhelming weights. Jurojin (OOC: All good with me.)

Shortly after Jizo, Aizen approached the weights, grabbing two and tossing them in the air effortlessly. "This seriously all you have? Fuck it, I want a challenge," The ogre then went back to the weights, grabbing four more and lifting four at a time in each hand. "That's more like it!" she exclaimed, charging up her ki. Looking at the field, she saw Jurojin, standing in the center. At that point, Jurojin was feeling confident, a smirk on his face. His energy was charged, and he was prepared to fight-or, in this case, defend-against anything. When Jizo ran up and attempted a kick, Jurojin jumped away, and looked at the small ogre's hands. He had weights, and was executing the motions perfectly, to Jurojin's excitement. Swiftly, Aizen ran onto the field, lifting her stacks of weight. She moved rapidly towards Jurojin, but just before she reached him he lifted himself up, creating an ice pillar that he bounced off of, slowly drifting to the ground by creating a slide of ice. Aizen did not fall so gracefully, however. The red ogre had had a kick aimed at Jurojin, and it had collided with the ice pillar, shattering the pillar but not entirely leaving her unscathed, either. She fell several metres away, and got back up angry. "You... this is getting interesting... maybe joining this team wasn't such a bad idea after all..." she said with a smirk. This was going better than she expected. Jurojin himself let out a smirk, too. Perhaps he could serve as a ghost hunter, after all.

Thread PL: 7,634 Jizo's kick had been swiftly avoided by Jurojin, whom after withdrawing from the position held a look of excitement upon his face, turning to cause Aizen to fall in an embarrassing display as she was sent flying several meters away by the shattering force of the ice pillar's destruction. Jizo watched Aizen's anger turn into drive and saw Jurojin's obvious satisfaction with the two that had decided to sign up. Jizo needed to show what he was made of, and so like clockwork an idea began to turn over in his little ogre skull.
"Hey, Jurojin!" He shouted, trying to gain a stranglehold over the finned ogre's attention for even just a moment. "Catch!" He said, as he pulled his arms back, before sending the weights flying directly towards Jurojin through the air, soaring at speeds far faster than could be seen by the average life of the universe. In the moment he would be distracted, Jizo pointed his finger forwards and his eyes focused on Jurojin before releasing a barely noticeable psychic blast towards him. "Super Lock!" His voice was thunderous as he held his hands together with the aim of seizing up Jurojin's body and restraining his movement.

The second Jurojin saw the weights begin to fly, he could tell something was amiss. But the finned-ogre hybrid was smart. He quickly raised his hand, preparing to form a wall of ice, but found that he... couldn't move?! The weights soared forward, about to hit Jurojin, when suddenly Aizen rushed over, dropping her weights and blocking the makeshift weapons with swift chops. "Hey asshole!" she snarled, glaring at the short blue ogre. "You're supposed to keep lifting the weights, not let go!" The red ogre ran over to Jizo, smacking him with the side of her hand on the shoulder. Rushing back over to where Jurojin was, she picked up her weights and began lifting them again. "You cheated, so your attacks don't count. But mine do!" she screamed, and, still lifting the weights, delivered a swift kick to Jurojin's chest, knocking him over. She chuckled, and went out of the box, awaiting what Jurojin would say.

Thread PL: 7,634 His maneuver had worked, and Jurojin had been locked in place with the powerful makeshift projectiles being sent flying directly towards the finned ogre. Moments before the attack had landed however, the other ogre with the reddened pigment dived in and knocked the weapons back with swift swipes of her hands, her fingers outstretched in order to chop away at whatever they hit. "SHI-" Before Jizo could finish what he was saying, Aizen had called him an asshole and ran over smacking him in the shoulder faster than his little body could move out of the way.
Hitting the ground, he rolled along the surface of the grassy sports field and got dirt all over himself. "BLEGH. He spluttered, grass and dirt spitting out of his mouth as he held himself up on his hands, before rising up and quickly gathering his own weights from the sides of the field in the hopes that he would reach them before his Super Lock broke on Jurojin. He picked up the second weight as he watched Aizen deliver a kick into Jurojin's chest knocking his paralytic body over effortlessly.
"Hey! Don't you think attacking him when he can't move is cheating too?" The little ogre shouted, an apparent defensive attitude carried in his tone and accompanied by a mocking gesture with his eyes. Jizo didn't consider what he had done as cheating, but if Aizen wanted to play strictly to a set of rules about what was and wasn't fair... Jizo could play too. Jurojin

Aizen began to turn red (at least, redder than she had been before), angry. She hated people that called her out-especially when she was actually wrong. "You... I WAS JUST USING WHAT RESOURCES I HAD!" the red ogre yelled, attempting to come up with a reasonable answer, and failing. "At least I'm a real ogre, not just some little blue shrimp!" Several seconds after her angry torrent, stopping whatever bickering had started, Jurojin got up, stretching, from the position he had been stuck in on the ground. "To answer your question... questions? Not sure, but, to answer your question, you both cheated," Jurojin replied, shaking his arms. "What the hell!" Aizen shrieked in response, getting ready to charge at Jurojin. Ignoring her, Jurojin began to speak again, "Jizo, you stopped lifting the weights. And Aizen, that was illegitimate, you took advantage of cheating, which is, when you really think about it, cheating too." Jurojin then walked back into the middle of the field, picking up the weights Jizo had had and putting them back where they had come from as he sat down on a bench, next to the racks. "Now, I declare a five minute break!" the blue ogre yelled, heaving his chest. He had tried not to show it, but it hurts, quite a lot, when one is unable to move and is then kicked to the ground. With the flick of his hand, the fish-like ogre summoned a cup, made out of ice, and created water within, freezing cold. It wasn't until he began to drink from the cup that he saw Aizen, walking over to the bench, and remembered not to be rude, summoning another cup. He walked up to the red ogre, and offered it to her, holding out his hand, the cup within. "Fuck off," Aizen scoffed, smacking the cup out of his hand and smashing it against the ground below. Jurojin glared at her as she sat down on the bench, but merely summoned another cup and shrugged, attempting to let it go. "Hey, Jizo," he yelled, "Feel free to take this!"
