The canyon path was narrow and uncivilized. Dying plants hung in every which way, leaving minimal room for the path itself. The dirt road snaked around ancient, jagged rocks that were as sharp as knives. The walls were sheer rock, coarse and unforgiving; undulating with overhangs and ledges. Ribbon-like fissures lined the gorge with their wind-carved texture. There was a serene beauty to it - raw and barren - even with the grainy wind. What could possibly disturb this serene valley, untouched for thousands of thousands of years...? Well...
"ECHO!" "ECHO..." "Echo..." "echo..."
A chipper female voice called out, her tune reverberating around the valley's walls. Stepping out from a narrow path in the walls came a five-foot tall bipedal brown lizard, her claws pushing aside some dying leaves. The female's head poked through the brown foliage with a smile, red eyes darting around for anything of interest. A frill around her neck puffed out when a hawk screeched in the distance, and the lizard demon hastily lowered a hand to a knife sheathed in a container wrapped around her leg for a moment. Puffing her cheeks out with mild frustration, the goggled demon moseyed out of the underbrush as a larger shadow tromped behind her. "Aye, captain! Follow me-- I put our ship in the PERFECT hidin' spot!" The young recruit spoke, hopping up onto a rock and leaping from peak to peak as a larger, green-scaled foot stomped on the ground behind her.
Charon had trusted his newest recruit, Chida, with their vessel's safety. After crashing onto Konats, the oxygen distributors had busted, along with many, many other systems that made it now unsafe for intergalactic travel. The lizard captain creeped out of the underbrush, glancing up at his fellow pirate as she climbed across the rock formations before sliding into a small cave mounted atop a tall crag that spiked up at a ninety-degree angle. "You sure, lass?" The captain chimed, putting his hands on his hips.
"Positive!" The chipper recruit spoke, peering out with a wide smile from her spot. Sliding back into the shadows of the cave above, Chida mumbled to no one in particular. "Just give me a moment, annnnnd..." She trailed off before two rhythmic beeps resounded with an echo. Alongside the beeps, a pair of headlights would briefly flicker on and off inside the large cave. "So, we gonna fix 'er up or what, Captn'?" Chida resounded again, peering down at the skeptical pirate below.

Name:Sol Power Level: 400 Effects: None Word Count: 390 "I'll hand it to ya Chida, this is quite the safe place" Sol would say, trailing behind the two small distance, barely managing to keep up. She had been having one hell of a day on this blazing planet, much different from her homeworld of Arcose. She had been digging herself into her new outfit she acquired from the cities many vendors. A pair of sand proof headphones on her head, with some safety glasses protected her eyes. She wore a sweatshirt with a cotton military export shirt which blended well with the sand and dunes she prowled through on a daily basis, it's camouflage being quite effective. She hadn't expected to have to hike all the way to their new location. That was for sure. Her opalescent hair gleaming every color of the rainbow, and then some as the sun struck it with hot and pointless blows. "Though I imagine anyone wanting to come an' steal our ship would give up halfway through" She said, snarky and wishing for some sort of air conditioner. She let the Captain and their new recruit go do as they wish, sitting outside of the cave in the open area, cleaning her rifle's barrel. She had recently acquired the machine in a bazaar within the city of Ocariin. It channels her Ki through it, allowing her to use her Ki to fire accurate and strong 'bullets' to deal damage to her opponents. Something she was going to enjoy using in battle. She hated getting herself bruised, or dirty. Her days spent in slavery have given her an odd anxiety with her appearance, always wishing to be perfectly clean and beautiful. Something she would have to overcome one day. "So Captain, any ideas with what we are going to do here? Are we repairing the ship, or is it to far gone... We might have'ta get a new one." She said aloud, hoping Charon and Chida could hear her from her location. She had been aiming her rifle down range, watching for any scouts or sneak thieves who might attempt to steal from the crew. Her sight, a crimson colored cross with a dot in the middle, moved between the blown and ruined grass, annoyed at the heat, while still impressed as the sheer cleverness behind the spot. Chida definitely has what we need.

Verst had spent a large portion of his money on his new ship. It'd been a fair few years since he'd been at the helm however just like riding a bike, he'd manage to pick it up again. The Frigida Mors. It was a typical looking Arcosian ship, covered in orbs. He hadn't been able to afford customization. At least not yet.
He decided to head back to Konats. He'd started his new journey there, and he was going to advance it. The desert planet was as boring as ever but he'd heard rumor of a crashed ship somewhere on the surface. Since then he'd been doing slow rings around the planet, waiting for the scanners to detect something. When a familiar ping was heard. Verst rushed over to the console, and headed towards the signal.
He set his ship down a few hundred meters away and flew over. There he saw 3 strange figures around a cave. "So... Are you survivors?"
