The southern isles, the perfect place to come and relax, enjoy a cool refreshing drink, and to just lay back while the sun keep you warm. Today, was not one of those days. Not even an hour past noon, the golden orb of light and warmth was nowhere to be seen, only dark cloud, encompassing the sky. The wind howled, tress clinging desperately to their roots, and speck of rain came rushing down from the sky. It was near impossible to see, not including the occasional flash as of lightning, almost immediately followed by a resounding clap of thunder. What few people that did populate the streets were all running, as if chased by madmen to their destinations. What was worse, it seemed that only five minutes ago, the sky was a clear blue, a particularly warm day for this time of year, even in the south. Then out of nowhere, the temperature must have halved itself, the sky went entirely dark, and now all anyone could hear was the rain and wind wreaking havoc around the city.
Edoma on the other hand, decided to take refuge in a local bakery/café, where he enjoyed a nice warm cup of tea, and an earth sandwich, seated at a table that was certainly too large for just one customer. It was honestly a pleasant little lunch, though as the young saiyan hybrid nibbled on his meal, he had a sense of dread creeping on him. He’d been told that storms could literally pop up out of nowhere around here, though less likely in the winter. Still, a storm this bad, even if it’s natural, doesn’t seem right. He had this unnerving feeling that something was about to go wrong. His knee quickly bobbed up and down, trying to relieve this feeling of anxiety. What could possibly cause him to get like this. Edo wasn’t sure what it was, but he knew something bad was coming his way, maybe not FOR him, but certainly TOWARDS him. Maybe it was just the storm putting the teenager on edge, or perhaps how hard it was to sense anything in said storm that just made him uncomfortable. Regardless, the young half saiyan remained on guard, and either way was ready to either enjoy a pleasant meal, thus having his fears dispelled, or perhaps his trepidation was well placed.
