Thread PL: 22,591South city, Collan's preferred place to hang around, though not where his home is located. None the less, he enjoyed it here. Everything was nice and was peaceful. Because god forbid him go outside of a city, and time he does something bad happens and he gets into a fight he can't win! His luck was always terrible when it came to traveling, so that's why he decided to come here.
The hero in training...was having a good time. He wanted to be a hero, the greatest hero, but battling all the time got tiring. Hmm...guess that's why heroes strive for peace. Collan thought to himself, as he walked through the streets, a smile coming across his face. He was happy, and he hoped Rinsuji was happy as well.
Hopefully...someone out there was proud of him. Cado & Callion Just tagging you guys since you were interested in joining.
Cado found himself doing something he does pretty often. Walking the streets of the south capital. His ship that he basically lived in was parked in a large field outside of the city. With it there, it was pretty reliable location. Able to come and go in the city as he seen fit.
As cado was walking around he had a drink in his right hand he would sip on every few minutes or so as he walked the streets. Soon enough though, he seem a familiar face. It was one of his turtle school class mates, Collan. Cado would walk his way on over to him. "Hows it been. You out enjoying the city also?"
For once Edoma found himself where he was trying to get to. The southern capitol was honestly quite a sight for the young half breed, especially since this was his first time in a city like this on earth. He wouldn’t call it the most beautiful thing he saw in his life, however it was his first metropolis on the planet he’d seen. Not to mention if what he was told was true, then this place should help the teen get stronger. That being said, the power levels he felt in the immediate vicinity weren’t very reassuring.
“Well if anything,” the teen thought to himself, “This will be a nice change from staying up north for almost a whole year.” It was possible in his long absence whatever he was looking for moved on to a new place. Still he was already here, and was dying for something to eat. The teen didn’t have stacks of cash, but thanks to an anonymous contributor, who he knew was Dura, he had enough to fill his empty stomach. He sat down at one of the outdoor tables, decided to take some time to enjoy the nice weather. The food itself certainly wasn’t Ayumu’s level of quality, but it was, if anything, edible, not to mention to this day the saiyan was astounded by the variation of foods Earth had to offer, from Ayumu’s fish, to the noodles he was currently enjoying, to what he swore was a steak cut in the shape of a balding bearded man. Though probably for the best in the long run, the teen was just a little dismayed as today was turning out to be a rather dull one. That was until he picked up on two power levels no higher than his own unweighted.
He took a quick look in the direction of the energy, spotting the sources fairly easily. Even in the city it's hard to hide white hair, and the odd choice of clothing. As for the second one, he actually looked like he could have been a saiyan, though he was missing the signature brown tail. Of course, the teen had met a saiyan without a tail before, still that didn't give him any reason to assume this was another. Still, the two grabbed Edoma's attention, finally starting to excite him out of his slump. They were walking together, looking only a little older than himself. The way one greeted the other told Edo they were probably already friends, if not acquaintances. Maybe coming to the south capitol would be more than a much needed break from the frozen north. He got up to say something, but his voice didn’t come to him immediately. Honestly he didn’t know what to say, it’d been forever since he actually socialized outside of a combat situation.
So now the teen was standing there, a bowl of half eater noodles, probably sticking out like a sore, and rather awkward thumb, his brain deciding it’d be best to not think of what to say or do. They were the highest power levels in the vicinity, surely they could help him, the question was, help him what? The teen just froze. “Dammit I’m a saiyan, if I can take on a demon and a couple of old guys, I can handle talking to these guys.” He muttered to himself.
“Excuse me!” he called, in his usual aloof manner. “You two seem pretty strong, mind helping me with something?” A good start, but honestly Edo had no idea what he was asking for help with. Plain truth was he just wanted to get to know these two higher than average power levels, which to a human probably sounded a bit cold, though for a saiyan, could probably be seen as a compliment.

Sava's first entrance into South City, where he had been messing around. Since the child had been hungry, he had decided to "take" from one of the food markets here. That was 10 minutes ago, where Sava had now been chased by an angry man who he stole from, the boy had screamed as he had then took off onto a building. The man yelling as he had alerted others to him. "HEY! THIS LITTLE DUMB KID STOLE FROM ME! GET DOWN HERE YOU LITTLE BASTARD!" The Man said, raising his fist angrily.
It was a pleasant day and Levlidian had found himself, for once, in a relatively good mood, the wind courted his choclate mane openly as he'd adverse on himself as he'd soar downwards for the ridge of a building. It didn't take long before his heel connected with concrete and he stood openly, peering to the sky thus closing his eyes to draw in the busy city beneath him. Angry horns, bustling streets, it had been sometime since he'd visited here and in the wake of his rest from training he'd decided it'd be a good choice to socialise. With his minds eye he scanned the rims of the streets seeking familiar souls when a conjured notion captured him; a medium group of signatures stole his attention.
Stepping free of the building and into the serpentine breeze, he plummeted to the street below creating a thunderous boom announcing his arrival as obviously. Each of his legs folded to absorb the blow and thus he'd arise with ease before onlookers to stroll on for the conveniently placed group. Ignoring the gaping humans, the young Saiyan strode into the company of the building numbers and offered a mock salute. "Greetings, oh, Collan! it's been a while little buddy how're you holding up and who're your friends?"
The singular orb of obsidian he used to view his surroundings drifted between each and it did seem they'd actually just greeted the man not moments before he himself. Pausing, he'd glance for a yell of irritation only to spot a kid at full sprint free of a gentleman, grinning, the beast simply watched on and drew a thumb up to jab in their general direction; "Someone's having a good day," he uttered sarcastically and chuckle in kind. However, an alluring scent wafted to his nasal cavity inducing a loud snarl from his abdomen, his obsidian orb curled with his twisting head to fixate hungering eyes upon a mans delicious meal.
"I smell food," grumbled the young Saiyan, his brow furrowed and said blank white eye aside its sibling obsidian orb fixated upon Edoma's bowl, another self gratifying sniff followed suit as a hungering dog might; "You gonna' eat those?" he asked the strange lad hopefully.
As Collan continued on, someone had walked up to him. By their introduction he has problem met this person before. He tried to remember...hmm...oh yeah, it was "Hey! Cado!" Collan shouted out. "Yeah, there hasn't been much else to do recently. I've been trying my hardest to go past the limit. It's slow, but I am making progress."
That's when someone else had walked up though. He for sure didn't know this guy, but they would ask for help...but not really say with what. So Collan just made a hand motion telling him to go on. Then, as if this was his day of just people randomly showing up, like some movie trying to introduce characters as fast as possible. A kid had ran by, appearntly having stolen something from a nearby shop.
Of course being the person he was, aspiring to be a hero someday, leaped forwards at high speeds. He then simply attempted to pick up the kid with one hand by the back of his armor. If this worked, he would hold him up and give a stern talking to. "You know, kids shouldn't really be committing crimes. First off, they're usually bad at it. Secondly, shouldn't younger ones learn this by now from Saturday cartoons?" He'd continue by taking the stolen property and handing it to the market owner, heading back to where Cado and Edoma was.
But on the other side of the spectrum, if he couldn't catch the child, he knew it wouldn't be hard to fine him later. So instead of going after him now, Collan would pay for whatever Sava stole with his own Zenni, heading back to Cado and Edoma like normal. But finally, another person had shown up that Collan couldn't forget. Lev had walked up, greeting Collan.
"Oh, I'm doing fine. As for these two, this one over here is named Cado. I met him since we're students of the Turtle School." Obviously he had said this while pointing at Cado to avoid confusion, then he would point to Edoma, starting to talk about him. "As for this guy...I have no idea...but what about you Lev? Hopefully you're staying out of trouble, it would be a shame if I had to open up a can of whoop ass on you like I did my rival Jormungandr!" That was a total lie, as he had no beaten Jormungandr. But lying wasn't really a crime, so he was free to do that. Cado You're up.
Cado stood near collan holding their conversation. " yea, i agree, things have been rather slow lately. Atleast it has been rather pieceful around here lately. Besides, im sure youll cross your threshold soon, youll reach your goals. Limits are ment to be broken and surpassed."
Next thing cado turned his attention a guy that flew in. He seemed rather nervious about something and simply asked for help with something. He gave no other information about what he wanted. Cado thought it seemed rather wierd for the moment.
Then suddenly out of nowhere, a small child came running past the group with a few items in his hands and being chased by an older man who owned the shop they where standing near. He watched as collan attempted to catch the young child.
Almost immediately after the kid ran past, another individual dropped into the group. Cado had never seen or met this guy before. So he just stood off to the side as collan talked to him and introduced them all.
Cado stood there for a moment listening in to everyone else for a moment. " so what is everyone up to today. "
Well things certainly escalated quickly, all Edo wanted to do was meet some new people all while having no idea how to approach them, but that was beside the point.
Originally the teen was at least going to try and come up with something to say to the two. “I’m just wondering if you two know where I can find…. A…. oh boy.” He began to say, as he was conveniently interrupted, but an older man chasing after a young boy, all the while shouting about how he apparently stole something. Judging by the boys’ reaction, it wasn’t such an outlandish thought.
“Should we…” Edo began, though was interrupted by yet another person asking him if he could finish of the teens noodles. “Oh! Yeah give me one minute.” Still a little hungry, the young warrior quickly picked up his large bowl of noodles, slurping down a couple more scoops, before handing it off to the newest stranger. “Here, knock yourself out.” The teen offered.
Taking note of how the other three interacted, it seemed they had all met before, though the newest power felt leagues above the rest, including his own. It was intimidating to say the least, though everyone seemed to be in a very laxed and laid back disposition, save for the youngest now running away.
This once again drew his attention back to the fleeing child. What started as a well-timed deviation in attention, turned into an actual distraction, as the teen completely forgot what he was going to say to the two people he had originally approached. That being said, the saiyan was sure this must have looked utterly ridiculous from afar.
“So, you think we should see what all that is about?” the young hybrid asked the remainder of the crowd. However, his question was quickly answered, as Collan sprang into action, as if he had done this several times already. The teen smirked, shaking his head, “Judging from the look of the kid, I’d say he’s not from around here. Then again neither am I.” This was more to himself than anyone else, though loud enough for the group to hear.
“Well I’m not gonna lie, I have no idea what I was going to say now.” He lied, well sort of lied. True he had no idea what he was going to say, but it wasn’t as if he did to begin with. Cado then asked what everyone as up to, leading into a much better segue than what Edoma tried to do. Not too mention, Collan’s mention of this “Turtle School” roused Edo’s curiosity.
“I’m just trying to escape the north for a bit, after a while the cold gets real old real quick. Plus, I heard there are lots of strong fighter in the south near the capitol, and figured I’d check it out.” He then turned his attention to Collan. “If you don’t mind me asking, what is a turtle school, I’m going to assume its not some weird earth academy for turtles.” He joked, feeling a bit more comfortable in his situation. “I’m Edoma, by the way, but Edo works fine.” he greeted, this time to the whole group.
(Sorry if this is a little sloppy, I got hit by a ton of school shit and not the good kind)

Sava had stopped, his tail having been grabbed by the person they called "Collan". He had still been trying to break free from the hybrid's grips, due to how annoying this moment was. The food was ovbiously given back to the owner, so sava had to worry about the incredible hunger he just felt. "Im not stealing if i dont have any ZENI to pay for it, cant you see im hungry?!" Sava said.
Collan watched as everything else went on, looking down as the child shouted at him. "Look, if it's food you want then I will honest to god buy something for you later. Just please don't make a scene, I'd hate for some bigger crime to start while I'm dealing with you." Then Edoma had asked a question that obviously he'd understand why this person would be confused. "Oh, well yeah it isn't really. It's more of a martial arts school. As for why it's called 'Turtle School' I have no idea."
Though Collan did strangely notice something besides Lev's weird silence through this, he started hearing something else...lots of engines...though, he decided shrug it off. Cado You're go.
Cado stood there along side the group of guys just holding different conversations. While looking around he could tell collan looked off into the distance and a sound of motors off in the distance but he looked back to the others hanging around. Cado decided to do the same and just focus on what was going on near by. Mostly the hungry kid that was trying to steal. " if your hungry, im sure we can you something to eat"
The half saiyan took a deep sigh, trying not to let out a small chuckle as the young saiyan argued with the first two strangers. After Callon had answered his query, Edo decided to help Sava out next, casually striding over back to the noodle shop, and purchasing yet another bowl, though this time a slightly smaller one. He quickly made his way back over to the group, offering the meal to the younger saiyan. This was obviously a more peace loving crowd, and as much as Edo would have loved for a fight to start, his previous injuries told him that wouldn’t be such a good idea anyways.
“Here you go little man, wouldn’t want a…” Edo found himself cut off by the sounds of distant engines whirring, “… a fight to break out in the middle of the city. Speaking of fighting,” the young hybrid began turning his attention back to Collan and Cado. Now if these two standing before him were students of this school, it would be safe to assume it wasn’t for the average human martial artist. “This Turtle School, how strong are these guys? We talking your average Earthling, or something a bit more substantial?” The teen, was very curious, always excited and a little confused, whenever earth produced a capable fighter.

The Saiyan had looked at the three trying to help him, he wasnt exactly optimistic about them getting him food, or anything. Truthfully he'd have preferred to do it himself, sava had shot off one glare against Collan though. The Hybrid still kind of annoyed him, sava had then began to slam his face into the bowl. Eating like a pig,
Levlidian stood back and observed the group but tilted his head to the mention of combat, how likely was it that these souls would be fighters? High, he decided suddenly. With a chuckle he'd soon drift on to seek what ever they were rambling about, unfortunately discerning this was difficult as there were many conversations happening at once; thusly he jabbed Edoma in the ribs with one finger and furrowed his singular obsidian eye; "What's going on?" he asked bluntly. The man boasted a significant energy signature yet Lev' was fairly sure he was paying far more attention, "And what on Earth is this 'Turtle school' you're all bumbling on about?"
((Apologise for the slowness, I'm a dork and forgot, now I'm outta the loop so as I get back into it my post size will increase))
Collan, stood there, glad Lev finally spoke up. He then proceeded to answer both his and Edoma's question. "Well definitely on the higher side for sure, but as for your question Lev, I already answered that. Pay for attention next time." He chuckled, hoping everyone else would play along and not tell him.
But then all of a sudden, the writer got bored, and decided for the enemies to arrive! The engines sounds from before simply grew louder and louder. It wasn't long before a group about 3-4 trucks appeared with people in torn clothing and holding large weaponry riding on the back. These insane people shot wildly, everyone on the street would immediately get down and hope not to get shot.
They then stopped, getting out of their trucks and shouting. "Alright everyone! If you know what's best for you, you'll drop any valuables you have and surrender them to us!" Of course, they did so, as they obviously didn't want to die. That's when another thug had turned towards the group. "Oi! He said give us your stuff, so you might wanna listen to what he says mate!"
The white haired wonder though, simply sighed. "Well, time to show my worth as a hero I guess." But, he then threw away his more chill attitude and put a grin on his face that just screamed protagonist of a Saturday morning cartoon. He then proceeded to leap towards the same person who shouted at them and grab his by the face, smashing him into the ground and effectively creating a small crater. Though he obviously tried to not kill the man.
Letting go of him, he then turned to the group of villains, keeping his grin. Of course, there was one other thing he had to do to fill his quota...strike a pose! The hero in training held out his left palm facing towards his enemies and immediately pulled it back. Finally he had finished it off by spreading his legs and thrusting his right fist towards them.
"Let's see how long you all will last." The group of villains had spread out, opening fire. Cado
