'IT'S NO USE! THROWING KI AT IT MAKES IT STRONGER!' 'I CAN BARELY SEE MY HANDS!!'
'BUT YOU DON'T HAVE HANDS, GUARDIA!' 'WELL THAT EXPLAINS IT!!!!'
A desperate struggle took place in the deepest reaches of the mighty Mount Frappe. While Chai and Guardia had ventured back into the mountains to get back to their old cave to grab their things to bring to their new house, the sword and goat duo had been nearly separated during a powerful snowstorm! One moment Guardia was sealed in his sheath, then the winds had sent the sword flying back! Luckily Chai managed to grab the blade before the winds pried the demon sword away from his partner. Floating a few feet away from Chai while sometimes letting loose a crescent blast of ki in a fruitless attempt to cut through the winds, the warriors from another world trudged forward through the extremely harsh weather.
In the blizzard there was no way to know which direction to go, the usual landmarks were hidden behind the white that swirled so densely. To Guardia, even his dear partner in front of him was little more than a crude outline of a earthling mostly erased by the storm. The soft crystals he would have found so bewitching from the other side of a pane glass, found their way into his metallic form in every possible way. The packed down his hilt and between the fabric that flapped around his grip. If he had blood, skin, or any organs for the matter, the blade would feel his blood cool and his skin become icy. They shouldn't have come, not in this weather. Disorientation was a given; and the cold was a killer. The world was being erased around her, and they would be with it if they didn't find shelter soon...
Gripping the side of the rocky mountain for guidance, Chai eventually found no wall to grab onto as he took another step forward. Faltering for a moment, Chai regained his footing and glanced to the side to see the entrance to the cave they called home for so long. Grabbing his partner's hilt and trudging in through the snow, Chai promply fell to the ground on his face, shivering. Even with his layers and layers of clothing, the goat warrior was freezing! Guardia shook some snow off of his form before seeing Chai pushing himself back to his feet. 'Oh Beelzebub almighty, are you okay?' Guardia spoke, flying down and helping Chai to his feet by using his inanimate form as a crutch. "Yeah. Just cold as hell..." Guardia's eyebrow raised somewhat as he narrowed his eye, speaking in a confused tone. 'But hell is scorching hot! I've been there!' Guardia spoke back. Chai rolled his single eye, speaking back to his partner. "It's an expression." Before Guardia could say anything else, something else would pique Chai's attention. He could make out another strong ki signature in the storm!
'Chai...?' Guardia spoke, narrowing his eye and speaking in a suspicious tone. Looking down to his partner, determination quickly filled the goat's eyes. "Someone's out there, G..." Chai spoke, staring down at Guardia and taking a few steps back, spreading his legs apart and letting some ki flicker from his form. Guardia's eye narrowed more, knowing his partner well enough to be aware of Chai's intent to brave the storm again to help whoever was out there. 'Don't you fucking dare.' Chai took another step back, kicking some dust up with his foot. 'DON'T.' Guardia snapped, his eye twitching. Giving his partner a quick smile, Guardia would be left spinning as Chai dashed out into the blizzard, his form quickly fading into the snowy winds. 'KAIS ABOVE, DAMMIT! YOU'RE TOO NICE AND PURE FOR THIS WORLD AND I LOVE YOU!' Guardia hollered out telepathically to his partner alone. Chai smiled beneath his mask, narrowing his eyes to try to see through the winds. Looking around with his ki senses locking onto the nearby stranger, the fearless goat that had been to hell and back braved the blizzard while Guardia stayed behind...

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ [Thread Power Level: 19,570] Throughout the day such magnificent flowing puffs of water flowed throughout the lands, it seemed rather chilling out doors as most being of human relations would freeze to death if not having much experienced in the cold. Namekians were generally able to resist the cold even better than any human can due to our harden skin, as the freezing winds pushed onward there would be a being that was walking through the snowy path. Of course an Namekian in which he would start to smile at such weather, though he had harden skin he still needed to layer up a bit however forgot to do so; he would be attired with his base white overalls that covered his whole body from his neck to his bottom ankle; he also would be attired with a layer of purple kimono clothing that was opened alongside each end of his legs but covered the front and back of himself; he then was attired with a grey tattered scarf and ragged brown namekian common shoes. His name would be simple, Kazoo, a namekian member of the Dragon Clan, he was skilled in many things in which in hopes of doing a lot with himself while he is on earth however will soon come back to his home planet highly stronger than he was before. Kazoo would have his Dragon Clan Staff in his hand while having his other arm behind his back using the Staff as a walking stick like and old master would in a way. As the wind continued to blow he would become highly intrigued at the snowflakes as each were different,"hmm... Now there's got to be someone around here" he says while looking around as he paused his walking a bit. All he would see is rocky mountain cliffs that seemed to be there but his vision was fuzzy by the repetitive snow that flown down, Kazoo would then move his hand over top of his bulgy eyebrow that had no hair on them and narrowed his eyes to examine the area.
Kazoo would suddenly widen his eyes as he sense two energy signatures around his vicinity, the power level seemed dull but decent also pure, contemplating on what to do he would head towards one of them. As he travelled through the area he would start to inhale and exhale heavily because it seemed that the oxygen level would start to thicken a bit, Kazoo would twitch his ears hearing voice form afar," That has to be them.. what being would be in this cold unless they seek of a death wish". As he would stop his twitch Kazoo headed in the direction where he heard the voices, somehow the energy separated from one another in which one of them oddly came in the same way as he was going, Kazoo still didn't underestimate the pure ki and started to grip his staff while balling up his fist. As Kazoo would pounce into the air he landed on a rocky cliff that was 15.5ft tall, he would finally see it; the being was a goat that stand on it's two feet which made him puzzled indeed. Kazoo would start to grin finally front lipping downward towards the being, he would land right behind him which resulted towards him turning around and attempting to used his short sharp white claw to tap his shoulder while saying," what brings you here'" he'd say softly but with a child like tone, he didn't intend to scare him however he rather just wanted to get his attention. |

The goat zoan continued down his path, eventually stopping in front of some kind of tall cliff. The flakes whirled around quickly as the goat continued down his path, but it was so thick that it almost obscured the view completely. As Chai looked upwards in hopes of seeing the owned of the ki signature, he felt almost as if he was flying upward rather than watching the snow crystals fall like oversized flakes of confetti. Needless to say, he couldn't make out the top of the rocky formation, let alone who or what lurked above on top of the cliff with this kind of weather...
The sound of the black wind howling took control of Chai's ears. He didn't hear the faint sound of someone landing in the snow behind him. With wind this harsh, Chai's woolen black trenchcoat would have already been blown off and lost to the wind had it not been heavily weighted. Pulling his hood over his head, Chai flicked his ki senses on again, finding the owner of the mystery ki signature right behind him! Mildly shocked when he felt a tap on his shoulder, the goat whipped around and looked down to a rather small... namekian? The whipping wind made it hard to see, but the goat could make out a lack of hair and some antennae on the stranger.
The seven foot tall goat warrior lowered his form, bending down and crouching to make proper eye contact with this stranger. He narrowed his eyes, making out movement of Kazoo's mouth, but his sensitive ears and the howling of the wind were not a good combination. "What?!" Chai responded back in a louder tone that would hopefully not be lost to the wind, unable to make out what the soft-spoken namekian had asked him. Even with his sensitive animal ears, Chai could barely make out what the namekian said- let alone hear the other ominous voices nearby. Chai's ears were better than a human's, yes, but it wasn't even on the same level of sensitivity as a Namekian.
Shaking his head and causing some snow to fly off of his form, the goat recalled his initial goal of braving the bitter winds in the first place. He could still make out the bright glow of Guardia's blade of energy, and could sense the demon's ever so prominent energy signature. Well, he had his waypoint- now he had to bring this strange namekian out of the cold and to the safety of their hidey hole until the storm passed. Raw perseverance filling the goat's eyes, he'd speak in a loud tone that would hopefully not be lost to the winds. "Alright! We should get to shelter! There's a cave nearby- just follow that glowing light from my partner over there!!" Chai pointed off to the distant flash of rainbow light from Guardia's blade. Should Kazoo hear the goat and heed his command, Chai would follow the Namekian to the safety of their distant cave.
Meanwhile, Guardia continued to pass the time in the cave, merely crouching down and watching some water drip from the stalactites above. Chai was taking his sweet time... Guardia couldn't sense power levels, and had no idea where his partner was at this point! Chai was lost to the winds, and going out to follow him would only result in Guardia himself getting lost as well. Sighing, the blade floated to the entrance of the cave, eyeing the eclipsed scenery for a sign of his dear friend.... |

Kazoo saw how harsh this storm would begin to flow and thought that this human goat being would need to find somewhere more hot to be to prevent of his own death, as he would gaze upon him though with fuzzy vision he would see that due to the storms rapid snowflakes it was hard to see clear for him. The being would shout out "what" in indication for me to repeat what I said however Kazoo wouldn't do so as he doesn't like to repeat himself, internally he was evil beyond thought but he maintains that side of himself to ensure of his plan of world domination doesn't come out. While then still staring at him as his grey transparent boy he would place his hand upon his chin thinking of a plan to get them somewhere safe, it would be difficult as these storms would make it hard to move in flight along with walking but he had to choose something to do. Kazoo would widen his eyes at the 7ft being and grinned," Hey! you got a place around here!" he shouted towards him enough for him to hear possibly, suddenly he shouted that there was a near by cave that he lived in per say with his companion in which he could find by the glow emitted from him. He would become skeptical of his little friend as he doesn't know either of them nor there capabilities however he had to get himself to shelter as not even a namekian he stay in this cold forever, Kazoo would nod while shouting," Alright, stay close!" he says while levitating about 5 inches off the ground while holding his staff, he would move towards the light spoken of by the goat being however still went in a general speed to which was comfortable for him along with keeping a close distance between the two. As he continued to move through the path ways the winds grew harder and snow blew more, a patch of snow fell on Kazoo bald green yet smooth head in which then he shook it off while saying," Damn Snow!". He was getting infuriated by this weather and waited to hurry up to this so called cave home, Kazoo would begin to think he was lying and only came to do an ambush with his little glowing friend, he would stay vigilant keeping an eye out for any traps that they may have around. As Kazoo's purple kimono robes blew erupting a flapping sound he would move his wrist towards his face to keep the snow from decreasing his vision, he would then loo around at the passing rocky area with piles of patched grass sand snow that seemed as ice by now.
As the would proceed the day seemed as hours when they walked, Kazoo didn't really want o be social with the goat creature as he wasn't good with talking with things as such, as the glow would become bigger he would have an optimism expression that some how this being wasn't lying towards him, Kazoo would twitch his antennas slightly while doing the same with his ears hearing a mumble, as he would grab his hand upon a piece of the bottom of a cliff he maneuvered himself around it and saw the cave. It wasn't much but its was doable in this situation, Kazoo would finally descend towards his feet while wiping off snow from his clothing, he would then see icicles that were on the top of the entrance of this cave and used his staff to break them off to keep them safe if an avalanche started and rumbled them to fall off as they might ran out. Kazoo would head inside the cave and shivered a bit until his skin was well refreshed again, he glared all around the cave's interior in which then he would see droplets of water flowing down the spikes of rock of the ceiling which gave a creepy feeling towards kazoo," How could someone live this way" he mutter under his breath. Walking through the cave he would then find the companion possibly of this being in which his level of power was impeccable towards Kazoo's," An you are?" he says towards it while tapping his feet a bit. Surely due too the standard pace the goat being was able to come in the cave as well with no issues unless he was paused by the cold, Kazoo would now be able to speak with no issues as the air in this cave was thick enough to speak more clear to one another, he would await answer from this other being while waiting on the goat to catch up. |

Nodding with the namekian in tow, Chai raised his forearms near his face to block the snow from his single exposed eye. The gale whipped up each individual flake of white snow, which were all so pretty on their own, into a projectile that hurt unguarded skin- or fur in Chai's case. The sky above had none of the light that noon-time should have, with black clouds swirling overhead and the wind howling like a primal beast. And the sound was like one wind-chime taking the force these almost hurricane force winds.
Soon enough, the two trotted into the Cave Chai had once lived in. The cave was built into the muddy brown rock of the cliff, although it looked like it had just been slapped onto the mountain range. The stone guarding the entrance was jagged and uneven, arranged in such a way, that it would be difficult for passerbys to spot. A few supplies were laid about- a tape recorder, a few bags of trail mix here and there, but everything was organized in an orderly fashion. Stools had been carved out from the stone, along with some shelves. Chai had once lived in this cave, but the goat now had to just bring his supplies out of here and to his new home, and he would be good to go. It was best to let the blizzard past first, though.
Following the Namekian into the caverns, Chai heard him mumble something, but pushed it aside for now. Raising his brows when the namekian asked who he was, Chai quickly responded back to the small namekian, sitting down on a carved out formation in the cave. "Oh, right! I am Chai- and this is my partner..." Turning around, Chai glanced around the cave, not spotting his sword partner. "...Guardia?" The goat questioned, looking around. Soon enough, the goat's expression would switch to deadpan bemusement when he caught eye of Guardia, who was currently in the back of the cave, snaking and splashing around in a small pool of water in the darkness of the cave. To Kazoo and Chai, it just looked like some kind of polychromatic snake slithering about...
"Guardia, get over here. We have a visitor!" The goat called. 'Coming, coming!' A voice would echo in the namekian and goat zoan's heads. Emerging from the shadows, the sentient blade would quickly orbit around Kazoo, eyeing the Namekian from every angle before floating to Chai's side. "-- And THIS is Guardia. He and I are partners." Chai finally introduced his dear friend while the sapient sword narrowed his eye at Kazoo, speaking in a tone devoid of any prominent emotion. 'Oi.' Tilting his head, Chai would narrow his single eye and speak to the small namekian once more. "Anyways, that's enough about me. Who might you be, and what brings you out to the mountains?"

As he would then narrow he eyes towards the incoming goat being, he would then reveal his general information which was rather simple without question. Kazoo would grin," Chai, what a.. odd name however Its pleasing to me in a way" he says while folding his arms, he'd then see that another bein would be present however this ne was the higher power level organism. As he darted his black eyes towards the left he then see the sword, Chai and this being named Guardia seemed to have more of a college roommate relationship in Kazoo's point of view. He then start to widen his eyes seeing that it was a sword," A talking... weapon.. you must don't get out a lot do you Chai" he says while holding his hand away from Guardia for him to not hear however surely he would hear as Kazoo wasn't efficient in whispering much. Kazoo would the kneel on one leg while examining the sword thing," Hmm.. how could a weapon of such increase in ki.. I wonder" he says while placing his hand upon his chain thinking on the matter however his thought would be interrupted as Chai would start to speak saying for Kazoo to speak of himself. He'd then get up while turning towards Chai," The names Kazoo, I'm a Dragon Clan Namekian, I'm not sure if your familiar with my race however most are for some reason.. hm.." he says projecting his voice out for both of them to hear him. He grip his staff while standing bold moving his hand behind his back.

Guardia floated in front of Kazoo, eyeing the strange little Namekian. He seemed harmless enough... Needless to say, he seemed mildly shocked by Guardia's mere concept- a living sword. Chai raised a brow when the namekian mentioned he didn't get out much. "Actually, it's much the contrary. As a wandered and a member of the Galactic Patrol, I'm tasked with numerous missions and such to get out and about." The goat spoke with a shrug and a smile. Guardia would clear his throat- despite not having one to begin with, and would float a little too close for comfort to Kazoo. 'Correction- I am not a weapon. I'm a demon- a demonic spirit sealed in this blade.' Guardia spoke, narrowing his eye before floating back and out of Kazoo's personal space. Turning around and staring at the raging storm, Guardia would speak once more to the two telepathically. 'Just you wait until I'm free from this thing...' Guardia spoke with a sigh. Chai pat the back of the sword's hilt, knowing how much Guardia missed his original form.
"Don't worry. You'll be free from that thing in no time with how much you've grown so far!" Chai spoke, earning a quick nod from his partner. When Kazoo mentioned about a weapon increasing in Ki, Guardia would turn and speak once more. 'As I mentioned before, I am not... a sword. I'm a demon. A thousand years ago, I made this mistake of leaving Hell without a body. My essence was unstable and ended up confining itself to this blade.' Guardia spoke, wiggling his blade for emphasis. 'If I gain enough power, I should be able to break free and restore my original form. That's the plan, anyways.' Guardia spoke, closing his eye and remembering his original form. Thirteen feet tall, sharp claws, and wings of every color. Sharp teeth that could cut through flesh like a knife, and a power that few could rival. He missed that strength...
The namekian introduced himself as Kazoo, but seemed to be in thought when he was asked why he was up in the mountains. Both partners raised a brow, unsure why someone would have to think about why they came to a certain place. Guardia narrowed his eye as red flags arose, while Chai folded his arms and tilted his head, not thinking much of it. |

Kazoo would begin to arch his green bulge for an eyebrow and started to step back a bit as he was getting to close, he wasn't aware that it was a being inside that swords and thought a lot of things that puzzled him indeed once he heard the sword said he is a demon sealed inside the weapon. What if the sword's blade was shattered? will the demon die? or will it come back? these were a lot of things Kazoo thought of mentally as he watched this sword move around freely. As he would speak towards him mentally Kazoo would look around as if someone else was talking toward him," huh?" he said while shaking his head trying to block what the voice said. He'd then shake his head," I am here for no purpose, I always journey far throughout this land to learn generally.." he says while then heading outside as his time to stay with them had to be cut short. Kazoo would then trun his head back and smiled," A pleasure" he says with a evil grin, he then burst into the air to head back towards his path for his own journey.

Kazoo spoke to the duo, speaking of how he had come out here in order to journey and wander without purpose. Chai was a wanderer himself, but he was looking for a purpose. It was odd to travel to places without a clear goal. Blinking a few times in mild confusion with blank expressions, Chai would watch as the Namekian turned around, jetting back out into the storm after giving the two a rather concerning, somewhat malicious smile. "But shouldn't you wait until the storm's--" Chai spoke, raising a finger slowly, but the Namekian had already taken off. 'Okay, bye???' Guardia spoke, his voice ringing one last time in Chai and Kazoo's minds.
Turning to Guardia, Chai would watch as the green man's form was quickly eaten by the raging winds. "...Did you see that look on his face, or was it just me?" The goat questioned in a rather concerned tone. Kazoo seemed nice enough, and that smile that looked like it was right out of a bad horror movie was so out of place! Guardia tilted his form before nodding, speaking to Chai telepathically. 'I know, right? Where did that come from?' The sword spoke, managing to form a puzzled shrug with his crossguards. Chai sighed, leaning against the wall and turning his gaze to the raging snow storm outside. "Well, as odd as this may sound... I hope we meet again. He doesn't seem too bad." Guardia narrowed his eye- if he was organic, a vein would be popping out of his head right now.
'Really? Seriously Chai, if that look didn't say "I'm evil, muahahaha", I don't know what does!' Guardia spoke with a roll of his eye, floating next to his partner. Guardia spoke, despite knowing how hopeful and merciful the goat was. "Even if that is the case, I'm sure he's within the range of saving. He didn't attack us, after all." Chai spoke. He knew he couldn't help some people, like his world's Special Forces, but he believed that even if Kazoo's suspicious glance did amount to him being evil, perhaps the goat could change his ways? Guardia rolled his eye, flying back into his sheath with a sigh and a tired tone. 'Well, just know that you're too nice and pure for this world, and I love you.' Chai smiled, glancing down to his partner as he tucked himself away in his sheath. "D'awwww." Chai spoke, clasping his hands together with a flattered smile. Guardia's eye twitched once more as he slid fully into his sheath, speaking one last time in an irritated tone. 'Shut up!'
