[DOJO]
Brisk woke up with a fright as a tremor shook the Valiance. The day before (or night, he wasn't quite sure) he had passed out while training with the former Empress of the arcosian empire, Wyntre Cold. He had been training long and hard with her, learning to suppress his power, but… Nothing was clicking.
Although they spent hours at work, Brisk couldn't quite calm down enough to minimize his childlike excitement, and thus his power continued to rage, unhindered. Wyntre had even theorized that perhaps since he had never learned suppression while he was young, his ability to transform had atrophied, and he was completely stuck in his unsafe final form.
Brisk, although defeated by his inability to succeed in the empress' lessons, was exhausted by all of the standing still and meditating, and honestly just wanted to go to sleep. So he wandered across the hallway to an unoccupied room of the massive ship, said good evening to Wyntre, and fell asleep.
And now here he was. The child leapt to his feet, his arcosian talons slapping on the ground as he ran to the doorway. The 7 year old immediately knew something wasn't right, because the door didn't open automatically. He spent a few seconds kicking it, and, not realizing that there was a manual lever to open it just above his eye level, the boy threw both hands forwards and vaporized the metal gate in one fell burst of ki.
"Miss Wyntre!?" Brisk shouted out. It seemed like he was always looking for her. He had spent so much of his life just looking for his mother, and then her… "MISS WYYYNNTREEEE!!!!!!!" Brisk shouted louder as he began to float down the hallway. She wouldn't leave him alone on the ship without telling him, would she? She had done so once before, but she left a note in the computer's AI.
Nothing felt right about this.
Another tremor shook the massive ship, and Brisk knew for certain he didn't imagine it this time. From his reference point of flight, the entire hallway moved up and down around him. "Empress Wyntreeee!!! I'm not ready for special training I'm real sorry that i fell asleep I just was really tired from standing in one place the whole time and my feet were hurting but I promise I can just stand for a really long time now!!!!" Brisk began babbling rapidly as he became less and less certain of his situation. He didn't really believe that this was special training.
As Brisk flew down the hall more anxiously and quickly now, he shouted out for an even less likely candidate. "Zexama!?" The boy whined with fear, before getting distracted by his feelings and banging his head into the wall. "OUCH!!!!" Brisk screamed before flopping to the floor, his flight gone. His face scrunched up into a painful little sob and the boy began wailing incoherently. The tiny child pulled his legs up to his chest and wrapped his arms around him, resting his little orb on the wall as he sobbed to himself.
Where had his mother gone? Just then, another boom shook the ship, and as the metal vibrated, Brisk's head bounced and hit the wall again, eliciting more sobs. The child eventually crawled on all fours and then stumbled to his feet. Things were only getting worse.
The air visibly became thinner in the hallway as pressure dropped immensely. There was no longer oxygen running through the ship. The temperature dropped dramatically, and although Brisk was naturally adapted to the cold, the freezing vacuum of space creeping through the ship was enough to send shivers even down his spine.
Suddenly, the child's seven year old brain entered danger mode. This was no longer a joke. Although Brisk still had tears dripping from his wide eyes, he remembered his last true experience of danger, the Kanassan space tree. He was a big strong warrior then and he would be a big strong warrior now.
With newfound determination, Brisk sprinted down the hallway as fast as his stubby little legs could carry him. He needed to find Wyntre or someone real fast and find out what was happening to the ship. "MISS WYNTRE THE SHIP IS FILLED WITH SPACE!!!" he cried out, making sure he shouted into all the open doorways, even if the room was visibly unoccupied. "THE SPACE IS LEAKING IN!!!"
The boy had likely waddled his way around an entire floor of the mile wide ship before he realized that Wyntre Cold was gone. And so naturally, he decided to simply check the next floor. As the boy ran into the elevator and pressed the button, a powerful boom shook the shaft, and the elevator cube was stuck. After punching at the floor of the elevator for a few minutes, Brisk decided to simply push up the top of the elevator to lift the whole thing up. The child then proceeded to blast the door open and realize that the cold vacuum of space was turning to blazing heat.
A nearby window displayed a terrifying scene. Brisk ran over and peered out, standing on his tippy toes when he realized: the Valiance was headed straight towards earth! The ship must've drifted closer to the earth than the moon, so instead of falling down towards the moon it was falling to earth! Blazing streams of friction and heat were visible outside of the ship, and suddenly Brisk's feet began to feel warm.
The lizard boy's eyes widened with fear. "M-Miss Wyntre.." he trembled, now talking more to himself than his adoptive mother, "We're going to crash right on to e-earth…" Brisk stood for a few seconds in completely stunned silence, tears welling up, before he realized his feet were practically on FIRE!
The boy jumped into the air and looked down at his red throbbing feet, and let out a primal shriek of pain, curling into a ball in mid air. It would've been quite painful to watch the child writhe and scream in the air from the burns on his feet.
Just then, the metal of the ship itself began to wobble and contort, the heat sending visible waves through the titanium. It took every ounce of strength Brisk had to fly back out into the hallway before the doorway melted.
The once rigid and stagnantly sleek hallway was now quivering under the heat and pressure of atmospheric entry. The entire ship was likely to collapse into a ball of molten metal. Brisk felt the heat radiate even off of the titanium and into the air, and began to sweat, soon become soaked as he whimpered, unsure of what to do. If he was a grown up saiyan warrior he would just blast his way out of the ship, but what about Wyntre?
Brisk inhaled deeply and thrust both of his hands outwards, sending a ball of white ki towards the ceiling of the hallway. Sparks flew, and a piece of metal burst, sending a physical wave of heat that made Brisk sick to his stomach. The hole he created was too small to fly through, especially with the metal beginning to quiver and drip.
The entire hallway soon began to sag in, caving from the heat and lack of support. Brisk's space to escape was becoming smaller and smaller. What would a space pirate do? What would a space pirate captain do? What would Wyntre's space captain apprentice do!?
Brisk's tear filled eyes wrenched open painfully, his vision completely blurred. "EMPRESS WYNTRE!!! I'M- I WANNA SAVE YOU!!!!!" The heat radiating from the metal was enough to actually begin to burn him, and first degree burns began to redden his pearly white flesh.
This was his last resort, he had to blow up the WHOLE ENTIRE SHIP!
Sticking both of his hands out in front of him, the child remembered the freezing vacuum of space and clung on to that feeling. He longed for the freedom of the icy black abyss. Anything was better than this melting metal hell.
And when the child filled his fingertips with Ki for his final burst, the energy began to take on an icy blue. The boy's palms forgot the suffocating heat and focused on the frosty cosmos. "PLEASE… GET ME OUT!!!!" Brisk quaked one final shout as the energy in his hands struck outwards, the entire cabin being consumed in a flash of bright blue light.
And when the child's eyes recovered from the flash… He was living in a winter wonderland. It was almost magical how the red hot metal had turned to a clean glazed frost; icicles hung from the ceiling, and everything was coated in a thin layer of chrome translucent white-blue ice.
(Learned [V2] Frost Fingers!)
His feet were the first thing to hit the ground, embracing the frozen metal as the torn reddened flesh absorbed the frost. There was no time to question what he had done. Brisk's mind had been completely distracted by the prospect of cooling his wounds down in comfort.
But outside of Brisk's frosty sanctuary, the Valiance was falling apart. Entering earth's atmosphere, the ship began to fall apart in white hot chunks, and was collapsing as it descended.
Brisk spotted a window in the hallway and was shaken by the closeness of the planet. This was nothing like Brisk's first entry to the planet. This was filled with urgency, and seven-year-old anxiety.
Immediately he knew that he would have to get to the training chamber of the ship to survive the crash; there was nothing he could do to stop it at this point. As the boy darted down the hallway he noticed that the aura of frost was still following him, and protecting him. Was this Wyntre's Cold?
Weaving the complex maze of the Valiance with a learned adepcy, Brisk was panting by the time he reached the bridge of the ship, and the navigation room/training chamber. It was the most secure part of the ship, built separately from the rest, and was surprisingly still intact, despite the deformation of the rest of the ship.
Brisk promptly headbutted one of the windows like a true space pirate, and after immediately regretting it, blasted it open and held back tears as he careened down ahead of the ship towards earth. He had to warn someone about the impending city sized spaceship that was about to crash into the planet.
The boy was a mere speck emerging from the colossal meteor that was the Valiance. The ship's shining metal had been melted due to the failure of it's atmospheric entry shields, and what was once a massive chrome symbol of the arcosian empire was now a doomsday asteroid.
A powerful burst of teal ki surrounded Brisk as he rocketed down towards earth, and he stopped on a dime just above the Island city of the South Capitol. Water completely surrounded the city for miles, but the Valiance just so happened to be angled to crash right into the city, or so it appeared to the child.
"PLEASE!!! SOMEONE HELP THERE'S A SPACE SHIP THATS GONNA CRASH ON THE CITY!!!" Brisk shouted vainly down towards the city streets. Earth was full of unstoppable heroes!!!! There had to be someone powerful enough to stop a city sized hunk of metal down there…. Didn't there!?!?
With Wyntre nowhere to be found, the Valiance, formerly parked near the moon, gravitated towards earth and is about to crash land violently!
